I grew up in California and Chinese food was available on every corner and every town had a great quick service but quality restaurant. I was not accustomed to sitting down and eating inside a Chinese restaurant, carry out was our standard. But when my family moved to Columbus over 10 years ago, we lived in the Polaris area and searched for a good Chinese restaurant. Panda House over the years has been consistent and never question their quality. The service in the restaurant is always nice and attentive, the menu over the years has added a few items and accommodated gluten-free customers. The décor has been updated as well to stay current and modern. My favorite is the spicy crispy beef, it is guilty pleasure meal for when I feel like stuffing myself. But the best item I’ve had here is the Happy Family Special or the Tofu Chow Fun.

My wife and I were looking for a new asian restaurant to try and we were in the polaris area, so we got on Unilocal to see what was around and what had good reviews. We ended up going to Panda House and it was delicious! The potstickers were really good and so was the honey garlic chicken. We will definitely be back!

Food was okay. Crab Rangoons were very tasty, however, a lot of extra fried wonton vs filling. Honey Chicken was very subpar, even for American Chinese. The Paradise Chicken has great flavor but chicken seemed fried a bit too long. Sushi, Spicy Cali Roll was impressive for not being a sushi focused restaurant. I ordered via delivery and it was reasonable for a weekend night. I would order again for the fact they have delivery(especially sushi delivery) but if out, would pursue other Chinese restaurants in the Polaris area.

The food is slightly above average quality, but I think expensive for what it is. On the bright side; they deliver(usually quickly); online ordering; have a large variety of food from sushi to meals. I would stick to the more classic sushi rolls; I personally enjoyed the buckeye roll and the tuna roll. I like spicy tuna normally, but I don’t like the way it is prepared here(with the spicy mayo actually mixed in with the tuna). I ordered a regular tuna roll and asked for a side of spicy mayo; that way I was able to top it the way I prefer it prepared. Not most sophisticated sushi, but convenient when I want something besides pizza delivered.

Way too expensive; with a coupon it was still over $ 55! The dumplings tasted like sausage balls! The pepper steak was pretty good but it’s hard to mess that up. Egg rolls aren’t included with entrees, so it was even more disappointing that we had to pay for those horrible things. My children liked their Lo Mein but again, simple. They didn’t offer small sides of fried rice, so we had to pay $ 10 for the side. We won’t be returning for awhile. We are going to try other Chinese restaurants. I wish this had been a better experience since it is so close to home.

I really like Panda House. Now granted I have only ever gotten their food delivered so I can not speak towards the actual restaurant. The delivery time is always good not some other places around here. The food is pretty good too as long as you go into expecting American-ized Chinese product. The sesame chicken and general tso are my go to picks. And make sure to get the crab rangoons for the dipping sauce alone. Best thing ever! So for some strong Chinese type food delivery, give the Panda a shot.

I came in because my usual Chinese place in the Polaris area is closed for renovation. Service and food quality was great. I did ask to have cashews added to a meal and was told it would be a $ 4.00 extra charge. I find this to be unreasonable since cashew chicken is not significantly more expensive than what I ordered.

Awesome! The new renovations are fantastic and the staff is always friendly. Chris helped us last time and I have to say that I am really enjoying the glorious mustache that he is growing! The place really is a good atmosphere and the food is always perfect. My wife, my 2 yr old and I go here about every other week and it is always just as good as the last time. Food is always hot and fast and the prices are reasonable. I always recommend people to go here and like I said they just renovated it and it looks phenomenal on the inside to match the phenomenal food that they are serving. I also have to say they don’t play boring old music that you can’t understand, they mix it up and I enjoy that as well because last time I was there it was country music I hadn’t heard in awhile which was a nice added touch.

Panda House is another Polaris area restaurant waiting to rescue a weary shopper from the chain restaurant grease pits with great homemade food. It is located — where else? — in a strip mall along Polaris Parkway. It’s a smaller place, clean, and playing… classic country music?! K95.5, I’m okay with that while I eat some sushi. ANYWAY. Panda House has sushi and plenty of Chinese dishes to choose from. The prices are reasonable, and the sushi/sashimi combos offer variety and choice for a low lunch time price(mid-teens). Our group was a big one, and they happily accommodated a reservation, a dozen different orders and managed to joke around with us AND get our food out in an organized and timely fashion. Kudos to the staff.

This is one of my new favorite Chinese restaurants in town. We came in 45 minutes before closing and were the last to leave and the service was so amazing. Our server was super attentive and friendly! I’m big on service and this guy was awesome. I was craving a good noodle dish, so our server recommended his favorite, beef chow fun. It was really really good! It might be the best we’ve had in Columbus! We also ordered the salt and pepper calamari and loved that as well. The portions are generous and the food is great! Can’t wait to try more things here.

This place is pretty great. I love the pad thai and if you have good pad thai you have my heart. My wife is pretending to be gluten intolerant so this place having such an extensive Gluten free menu makes my life a lot easier. A lot of evenings this place is almost empty which surprises me although it is nice to have a quiet dinner spot. Get the zombie rum drink, it has nothing to do with Chinese food but it will get you drunk.

I’ve eaten here a few times and I always go with the hot pepper chicken. Just hot enough to enjoy. Staff is friendly and food is served quickly. Plenty of food for the price, a great value.

Well I was happy all around with my visit to Panda House. Great portion size, quality chicken and friendly/on point service pretty much sum up my experience.

Walking into Panda House, we were greeted with a smile by the friendly hostess. Once she seated us, she took our drink orders which were brought out not long after. All of the staff we encountered was quick and genuinely nice. The dining room was clean and bright. All of the tables which were not in use were clean. As soon as patrons left, their table was bussed quickly. There was the usual Asian décor displayed around, as well as paper cranes hanging off the ceiling. I love the paper cranes! The food was ok. The meat and veggies tasted good but the sauces on the food were not. My son ordered sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was good but the sauce just seemed sugary sweet. There was no trace of sour or any other flavor, other than sugar. My General Tso’s was a good level of spicy but the other flavors of the sauce were not appealing. The chicken itself was tasty. Prices seemed fairly reasonable.

My husband and I have been searching for a decent Chinese restaurant in the area. We discovered Panda House through Unilocal and now won’t go anywhere else! We’ve ordered online both times and picked it up(although they do offer delivery). The portions are generous and the options endless. I’m always looking for lighter food options and Panda House has a lite and gluten-free menu. The first time I ordered the lite Hunan chicken and it was fabulous. The last time I ordered from the regular menu the orange chicken. It was over-fried, but the sauce was delish. If you’re looking for quality Chinese takeout, this would be my first choice!

First off, let me just say that any Chinese restaurant that has delivery automatically gets 2 bonus stars right off the bat. I order Panda House regularly when I’m at work. It’s been such an awful winter and I loathe leaving my warm office to trudge out to get lunch. They have a VERY extensive menu and I have had a few of the traditional Chinese food items(chicken lo mein, pot stickers, egg rolls, etc.) all of which were very tasty. They have nice sized portions for very reasonably(cheap) prices! But the real highlight for me is the fact that I can get sushi delivered! Ok, so it’s not high end sushi-bar quality, BUT it IS better than some of the supermarket sushi! And every delivery person I’ve had with was very friendly and always early!

Good smells before entering this little strip mall joint off of powell rd/polaris pkwy. The interior was also nice and clean and in good shape. The food… Not so good. I think this is one of those times other than one previous Chinese food experience where I took two bites and was greatly and grossly disappointed. I ordered the House Lo Mien, which was sad with soggy noodles, overly soy sauced to hell and back and REALLY bland meats. We ordered springs rolls as appetizers, which were obviously bought in from the taste and over cooked burns on the edges. A taste of the husband’s orange chicken still left me with a feeling of underwhelming disgust. The service was good and perhaps I just picked the wrong thing to eat, but after this trip I am A-OK with never having to step back into Panda House. No doggie bags for this gal, but a full table of left food. Not to mention it was pricey.
