You’d think after countless reviews that Moochies would start to throw more meat on the Phillys at this location, very skimpy! Whatever, moving on. I love Moochies and still had a great experience at this location. The meatball was huge and bursting with flavor, the bread here is beyond perfect. The jalepeno sauce is a must on the Philly! Absolutely loved it, this place is a gem. The fried ravioli is killer as well, get them. This place is awesome!

Joanna is the best, her passion for her restaurant is shown in the food. The jalapeño sauce is to die for(not as spicy as the name indicates). Everything tastes great there.

Well, don’t judge all Moochies locations because of this location. This location, even after months after opening still doesn’t match the goodness that the other locations so easily seem to deliver. The Salt Lake locations are fantastic, this location, not so much which is such a shame. I really hope they do and overhaul and bring it up to the Moochies standard because this location is doing the other locations and Moochies name a disservice.

If I could have given it a «O» star I would have. I ordered 2 twelve inch Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches, $ 24.00DOLLARS… Ok, they were Delicious in the past from the Salt Lake location. I then asked her to cut the sandwiches in half and wrap them separately and she said«NO» I’m sorry we’re not allowed to do that, If we did it for one person then everyone would want us to do it and it would take too long”. What the he**? I said, I’m sorry I can’t purchase them then” and walked out politely NEVER to return. Hey Moochies, maybe that’s why your parking lot was empty?

Italian sausage sandwich was tasty but not enough meat & too much cheese. The small macaroni salad was also tasty, but too small for the price.

***of all three locations, this is the worst*** The last two times we’ve been here they’re skimpy on the meat. We’ve been to their downtown location and the one in Midvale and they are always reasonable with the amount of meat in their sandwiches. We live in Utah county and I remember we would drive out to those locations because Moochie’s food is really good. Food was server fresh and hot. We were so excited to find out they were opening a store in Utah County but I’m not sure what the heck is wrong in this Lehi location, it’s like the people prepping the food are not thinking or their senses are not common. I have pics of the sandwich this time to post it. The steak was a joke and the bread that came with the spaghetti was hard, stale and cold The last time we got a Reuben sandwich it was bad, I figured maybe it was just that time so I decided not to put a review and didn’t take a pic but this is the second time… It’s really bad. We really love Moochie’s, their food is good but we are definitely not going back to this location. Will we get Moochie’s again, sure — if we are in Salt lake area and remember it.

I was actually excited about them opening in Lehi because I live in Provo. I loved moochies in midvale on state st. But I don’t know why it’s not the same… Dry cheese steaks and the cut of meat wasn’t the same. I wonder if they get their meat from somewhere else. It wasn’t worth the money or trip. I was sad. I know what a real cheese steak taste because I’m from south philly!

The sandwiches were pretty forgettable, but the 12 – 36 hours afterward were most definitely NOT. The wife and I pass by this location pretty regularly and finally ventured over to give it a try. I got the Authentic Philly and she got the Gourmet Grilled Cheese. The Philly had almost no flavor, and the bread was so dry it crumbled in my hands as I was trying to eat. Most of the cheese was concentrated in the fold of the bread and didn’t help the dryness of the rest of the sandwich. The grilled cheese was decent, with a nice cheese«skirt» around the edges you could pick off and eat. Value for the price was still a little lacking. Unfortunately we both ended up falling ill and spent the next two days attempting to stay upright. We don’t plan on risking a second trip.

The food is really good and I’d come again and again. The service is fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean. If you think the same thing then we should all rate Moochies with a five star rating. I read a lot of reviews say the same as I stated above and then give a three star rating. What?! I wish Moochies the best and hope they keep serving delicious cheesesteaks for a long time.

Im giving them a star higher than my original review in the Midvale location. Why? Okay, I brought 12 guests from Sacramento and Las Vegas. I didnt want to over hype their cheesesteaks. Just waited to hear everyone’s opinion afterwards. Surprisingly, everyone including my 10 year old nephew gave it a thumbs up. They enjoyed the sandwiches a lot. Funny that they even wanted to stop by again before driving back home next day. Good job Moochies!

I wanted to love it but I didn’t. It was good but lacking. It needed way more meat for the size of sandwich and bread. Ordered a 12 inch Philly cheesesteak($ 9.99)and added peppers to it for $ 1. Flavors were pretty good. To add flavor, they had jalapeños, bananas peppers, house sauce, jalapeño sauce. Loved the jalapeño sauce. Definitely gave it a good flavor. Loved the roll it was on. Just wished there was more meat for the size of the sandwich.

Good philli steak. The wife loves the meatball subs. They are hard to eat clean. Cheese in the philli was not melted today which is a bummer. Today was at the Lehi location. We have never had this problem in downtown SLC.

At lunchtime, the parking lot was full. It was awesome. There was a queue and while I waited I mused how 90% of the clientele were male, and not unlike a gym, it seems to sculpt bodies. The queue moved fast, and I was presented with a menu. I was not expecting that! Get that away and send me meatballs! I asked for a «large» sandwich, and good heavens did they deliver. It was a 12″ meatball with mushrooms and olives, and it weighed more than some bowling balls I’ve seen. The bread was crunchy on the outside, and soft and marinara-y on the inside. I would have liked to see the size of that tender, succulent sphere of meat before it was slashed and stuffed into a bun. It was good, but not for the faint of heart – nor any heart problem. Other side effects include delirium, garlic foot, meat sweats, and more delirium. I could only eat half of it, but the other half is up in the fridge – I hear it calling me with a sweet siren’s song.

As someone that never orders meatball sandwiches, I only order meatballs here. Moochie’s is known for their meatballs and there is a good reason. The sandwich is a fantastic meaty mess that will always leave sauce somewhere you didn’t want it. I’ve had bites of some of their other stuff, as well as some of their catering, and wasn’t too impressed. Stick with the meatball though and you won’t be let down. Their sauces are also really good for dipping just about anything in… meatball sandwiches especially. Last time they catered at work I took home the jalapeño sauce and put it on everything. It was a sad day when that bottle ran out. So get a meatball sandwich and whatever side you want and then drench them both in jalapeño sauce. You won’t be disappointed.

Been to the SLC location once and Lehi location once, so I’ve combined both experiences into one review with *‘s to show our preference… **** The Meatball sandwich was our favorite, but it’s super messy and HUGE to bite into. The rich marinara softens the harder hoagie rolls to a nice medium density. Might grab a fork & knife and eating a whole thing is probably too much(we shared). * The Philly Cheesesteak also came with a messy roll(I’m sensing the this is normal). We think it needs more flavor; I didn’t finish it nor took it home for leftovers. The onions weren’t caramelized, just sweaty; maybe that’s how they’re supposed to be. Mushrooms are additional 50¢; green peppers are additional 50¢. I added jalapeño sauce and banana peppers to help but it still lacked flavor. We think Chubby’s in Pleasant Grove has a better cheesesteak with buttery-toasted soft hoagie and tasty sauce(grilled onions, mushrooms, and peppers are included in their price as well as a side). **** The Sausage & Peppers has a nice mix of flavors, though we thought a spicier sausage would make it perfect(maybe that’s an option) and adding banana peppers and jalapeño sauce was necessary. * Skip the Fried Ravioli unless you want an herby square cheese stick. The melted cheese inside had a good flavor and texture; the herbs are a nice touch.

Maybe today was off, but my cheesesteak was pretty bland. Fried raviolis were pretty good, but I was expecting a bit more for this location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything seemed clean and ready to go, I’m guessing they are just working out the kinks.

We were introduced to Moochie’s by one of our friends and back then we had to go to SLC. We’re really happy that we have one in Lehi now. Our faves are their Philly’s Cheesesteak and meatball subs. I’m no expert with regards to cheesesteak and I’ve never tasted one in Philly but I love their’s and the meatballs on their subs are to die for. The meat are soft and cooked just right and darn tasty. Now we get more varieties to pick from here in Lehi!

They finally opened! I’ve been driving by watching the progress for what seems like months. Before moving onto the very good looking meatballs, I needed to givve the Philly Cheesesteak a try, I’ll cut to the chase. I could argue it’s not the best tasting cheesesteak I’ve had in Utah, but it is the closest to the real thing. Let’s be honest a cheesesteak from Pat’s or Ginos is more iconic than flavorful in the way a Chicago Italian Beef is. I used to work in Princeton. If I flew into Philly, I could get lunch at Pat’s or Gino’s and hit Princeton in time to get some work in. So I got quite familiar with the iconic cheesesteak. I also spent several months working in the clothespin building in Philladelphia and ate a lot of cheesesteaks from local places too. Outside of thicker onions and not enough cheese wiz, it was perfect. I’ll be trying the other dishes going forward. It’s sure nice to have something other than Subway and Quiznos in the area now.

Pretty alright cheese steak. The sandwich didn’t have much flavor. I added the hot peppers and sauce, but it was just okay. I’m not sure if it wasn’t made to their normal standards, because it was so crowded and they were rushed. The potato salad was pretty good along with the fries. There is for sure another better cheese steak place in SLC, but this place is alright if you’re in the area.
