I thought the phở here was pretty good. I need it about once a week so I’m not picky where I get my fix when my phở levels are low but this did the trick for sure. Staff was very friendly. Prices were higher than needed(almost double what I find in chinatown nyc) but they caught us in need of the goods in an asian food desert so no regrets.

Totally wonderful food at a very very reasonable price. Lovely setting to with an old Rickshaw that my three-year-old really enjoyed. Everything seemed very fresh and quite delicious I’d recommend this place to anybody

Sadly, I have to agree with several reviews here, to wit: When Phở Saigon first opened, it was priced fairly and the food was good. Since then, it is clear that quality has taken a back seat to profit. Such a shame. This little«hole in the wall» should be pumping out amazing banh mi and flavorful phở, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Maybe the kitchen needs(new) talent? As it is, the food is of low quality ingredients, salty and far too expensive by any measure. Service? Meh. In another cost cutting measure, the owner does it all and, on a busy night, you’ll hear about it… I get the feeling this place really thrives as the town take-out joint. Phở Saigon has no local competition and, therefore, no impetus to try harder, I suppose, but I wish they would. :(

The phos were subpar. Both the seafood and beef broths were too sweet and one note. I don’t expect great service from a phở restaurant but this one is worse than most. I do not recommend this place for phở. On a positive note, the vermicelli was pretty good.

This meal was just what we were looking for. The beef phở had a delicious broth and the Vietnamese crêpe was crispy and tasty! It was a pleasant surprise to find such a great Vietnamese spot in the Berkshires.

Cute little place, fresh and tasty food, kind service. I usually get the Phở, broth is super! Reason for 4 starts and not 5 is because it’s a bit over priced.

Cozy, quiet, home cooked vietnamese food. I love coming here to get lunch and sip on their jasmine lime tea(I never come without getting a cup). The owner is very sweet and the food is great. It’s not much on the outside or inside but I’m glad I gave it a chance.

Unfortunately this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The staff are especially rude. If u prefer to just drink water, u have to drink out of a plastic cup lol. People who order soda get to have the glass. Honestly didn’t feel comfortable eating meat here, food was disgusting. I wouldn’t go here again.

The strange thing about this place is that the owners are Vietnamese. However, the preparation of the food is far from vietnamese. The phở had an interesting taste to it, as if they put a hint of tomato in it giving it a sour aftertaste. The spring rolls were filled with too much taro and not enough flavor. Plus, the price for all of it is outrageous. As a vietnamese, I will not come here unless I become way too desperate for phở.

Very disappointed. Overpriced and poor food. We ordered beef, seafood, and vegetarian phos hoping for some genuine fare. But the phos we ordered are at best mediocre: you can count the pieces of beef with one hand, or three or four shrimp in the so called seafood phở. The soups are bland and too sweet. Definitely not what can be considered good Vietnamese phở from where I come from – DC. So is the crêpe we ordered. The server is not warm either. Won’t recommend.

I’d like to see this place succeed, because there is only one other vietnamese place in the area. The Beef Phở was good, but they really need to add Brisket/Chin as a choice to their Phở. Adding fresh basil to the sides would be original. Keep in mind they only have one size of Phở, small for $ 11.00. Fresh leaf lettuce with spring rolls should also be a must. They need to have vietnamese coffee with condense milk. They told me they do not have it anymore because the customers would stay 2 hours drinking only coffee, but in the same conversation with them they said they did have American coffee. LOL Explain that one to me. And last they should take advantage that no one else makes Banh Mi sandwiches. A nice place they just need to step it up and tweak a few things.

My wife and I were looking for a place near this but it was closed. Was not feeling like Asian food so I didn’t want to go. But what a surprise. My wife is vegan and found dozens of choices. I had the best fried wonton I’ve ever had. Entrée was pad Thai. The place is tiny but great food and friendly people.

Classic small-town restaurant, with excellent Vietnamese food. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. I eat here or get takeout at least once every couple of weeks. Phở Saigon has the best chicken pad thai I’ve ever had. They serve liquor, but if you happen to be across the street at the famous Moe’s Tavern for their craft beer, Moe’s serves no food and Phở Saigon happily delivers.

Excellent, no frills Vietnamese food in Lee. We tried two different soups and the summer rolls– the flavors were complex and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful as we navigated the menu. Will definitely come back!

After snowboarding at Butternut Ski, I found this place on Unilocal.Even though it is surrounded by many cute shops in this town, I thought to give this a try. First impression of the restaurant was horrible. I thought I was eating in a random person’s grandma’s home. I thought maybe at least the food would be good. The food was bad. It was expensive for 6 pieces of meat. I thought I was eating a 25 cent ramen pack. I was in the bathroom taking off my contacts and they were apparently saying I used too much water and too many paper towels. What the heck? I wish I had better things to say about this«restaurant» but I don’t.

On our trip back from a four-day conference in Williamstown, we stopped in Lee to eat at this little Chinese place. Décor was simple and homespun, nothing special. The place had about eight tables, all places rather closely together, and no tables for large groups. We each had a lunch special and split an order of fried wontons. The wontons were tasteless but dressed lightly with a pretty good spicy oil. Each main dish was flavorful and delicious, with portions that were moderate. I ordered tofu with veggies in a lemongrass sauce, and there were only a few pieces of tofu in the dish. For what we got, I’d say it was somewhat expensive, although the main dishes were good. Service was friendly and attentive.

Great food and service. The limeade and ice tea were incredible. Off the beaten path but a nice gem. A few hours later, I’m still full and thinking about going back tomorrow for another meal. The staff was super nice to my daughters(10 and 12) and they loved the food.

Atmosphere– okay, not too romantic or overly exciting, Service– prompt and knowledgeable, though they lose a star for kicking me out with my sister because they were tired(they told us to hurry up & finish– long day) and the place closes at 8, but it was 7:45. They also denied service to a group close to closing. Food– okay, not the greatest ever but the only of its type in the area. No MSG in their cooking which is great! Tasty esp after drinks but not worth it if you’re being ushered out, Pricing– moderate but after poor service & mediocre food, it is overpriced Likely not to return or recommend

Sigh. A bit too Americanized for our tastes. Not horrible, but not what I would call«real» Vietnamese either. We were please to find it in Lee the last time we were there, but it was closed. So, when we wandered through again, we stopped. Eh. Nothing horrible, for sure, but nothing to write home about. Really. And, Pad Thai is not Vietnamese. At least as far as I know, so why is it on the menu? My search for outstanding Vietnamese goes on. Someday, I’ll find it again.

I’ve eaten here twice in the past couple of years. Once was takeout and while on the expensive side, the food was very good. My most recent visit was lunch with a friend yesterday. This wasn’t our first choice, but apparently finding lunch at 4pm near Lenox isn’t the easiest thing to do. The odd hour meant the restaurant was empty and they were serving from the dinner menu. Their prices run on the high side for entrees and high enough for us to avoid appetizers. I expect and perhaps naively hope the lunch menu is more reasonable. Anyway, the food was very good — plenty of spice and kick one hopes to experience in Vietnamese cuisine. The service was fine if a little awkward, though points off for my friend’s water served in a small plastic cup. Oh and my iced tea with lemon came with a wedge of lime instead. It was submerged and maybe more was added to the tea. I hadn’t experienced a lime iced tea before, and now I understand why that is! Overall, the food hit the spot. The experience was satisfying enough for a couple of hungry guys looking for a late lunch. However, if I was with my girl and seeking a romantic vibe and pleasant dining experience, this wouldn’t make the mark. For that I’d try Truc Orient Express I’ve heard so much about over in West Stockbridge.
