Looking for a place to catch Pats game and something to drink. Walked into Moe’s. Warm welcome. Sure bring your food. Josh showed me their storefront. Took a quick stroll up to Locker Room. Lots of tables. Lots of staff. Asked for a menu and they didn’t know what to do with me. Moe’s it is and will be. A great new find in my new second neighborhood. Two hours later — a new favorite!

Very cool beer spot in the Berkshires — easily one of the best places for craft/rare beers in the area. The bar is sizable with lots of places to sit and a few TVs. They don’t have a food menu but have some snacks you can buy(necessary when you’re downing 18% ABV beers!) Trader Moe’s(the takeaway store next door) was closed when we were at the bar, but the owner offered to bring us in there whenever we wanted. Although we didn’t take him up on it, we definitely appreciated the gesture. If you’re not a local, know that the printed out beer list is likely not up to date. It was a bit of a letdown to know the beers we were anxious to try actually weren’t available anymore. Check out the website in advance for a more accurate list!

Been seeing ads for Moe’s in trade magazines and had to seek them out when I was in the area. Do not disappoint! Great atmosphere, selection and knowledgable and friendly bartender. Loved the Boom Sauce! I will be back.

Moe’s is a pretty solid place to get a drink. I tend to prefer a bar that is a bit quieter, though, with a less pretentious beer selection.

I love going to Moe’s! The atmosphere is local and the tap beer and whiskey selection hand picked by the owner are top notch! The staff, including the owner are friendly and easy to talk to. My hubby and I will usually order from one of the near restaurants and enjoy a couple of drinks for an easy going, lay back day.

So happy we stumbled upon Moe’s while visiting the Berkshires. The craft beer selection(on tap) was excellent, as was the bourbon selection. The bartender was so friendly and very knowledgable, discussing all the options with us. The atmosphere was fun and low-key, with sports games on the TVs and great music playing in the background. After a few rounds, we also greatly appreciated the bags of kettle potato chips and pretzels on sale.

Big fan. Polished dive bar. Above average beer selection. Very impressive whiskey selection, including a single barrel Moe’s only selection from Jefferson. Well worth a snort. Staff is top notch, even including the owner who is no stranger to working the taps. Ample TV’s, and a pretty cool collection of tin and neon advertising. Chips are the only option on the menu, but no problem to bring in, or have food delivered.

Found this place after having nothing much to do in the Lee, Mass area in winter. I’m not an avid skiier so yeah, I drink. This place was really eclectic with the décor and the beer tap selection was great too – about 8 different kinds. I tried the hard cider and it was very cloudy, bartender informed it was bottom of the barrel and definitely looked like mud… but still tasted awesome! It was like real mashed cider from a farm and I drank it anyway. My girl had the honey mead which was a nice peachy color, slightly bubbly and just enough tart. Atmosphere was friendly and few customers at 3pm on a Saturday. Hue selection of bourbons to sip as well as some other choice libations. No Coors here! I wasnt even charged for the two ciders, very generous! This was also the ONLY place where I could find wifi during the whole trip hahah luckily I was able to check myself in, Hollaaa !

Lee used to be sort of a run down gritty center that was basically a place to load up groceries and provisions for the summer places. These days there are Peruvian, Mexican, and even a French joint along with the packys, Greek pizza, and other things you more commonly see. Moe’s Tavern a great addition… I don’t drink whiskey but their selection is about as good as I’ve seen. Not some NYC transplant attempting to be «cool» in the Berks… Moe is a Umass grad and promotes Western MA beers. Good job Moe!
