Very good food. We started with soup– my lobster bisque was excellent and the others said their chowder was outstanding. I went simple for my meal with a chicken Caesar wrap which was also quite good, fresh ingredients. I have never been here but the people I was with have been many times and say they keep coming back because the food is consistently good. Service was only so so, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. We had a server who never smiled and seemed to get more and more annoyed each time we weren’t ready to order. We were there on a leisurely Sunday and the place was not crowded so it wasn’t as if they needed the table. The people I was with though said she was not a regular and this was not the norm. So when in the area, I will return.

Our first time back in many years and just as good as we remembered. Sunday through Thursday they have an incredible special: 2 entrees(from a select list) and a bottle of house wine for $ 39.99. Our wonderful waitress Mary steered us towards Cajun salmon and Country Fish and chips. We also splurged on chowder and lobster bisque. All excellent. We hope to return soon to have our«old» fave Lazy Man’s Lobster.

We were looking for a light fare for dinner and had the clam chowder, lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail and bacon wrapped scallops… all were fabulous and the staff are friendly and fast. Lots if great options on the menu if you want a larger meal.

My family and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The waitress was kind and attentive. The restaurant was charming and cozy. Delicious food — freshly baked bread, clam chowder, lobster bisque, salad, lobster and fried oyster. All yummy! we also had the dessert cranberry pumpkin pie — mmm sooo good! Highly recommended if you come to Lee for shopping at the outlets. Come here for lunch.

Last Thursday my wife and I, along with another couple, had lunch here while on vacation. The food, service and ambiance were all great. A wonderful place to visit.

Love the Lobster Roll, the hot buttery one they offer in the Summer. Good price, $ 17 comes with fries & slaw. I substitute for sweet potato fries.

After looking forward to a lovely meal, we were disappointed beyond belief at this restaurant. There were no lobsters, no baked potatoes! The food was tasteless and unappealing. After rave reviews as Best Seafood Restaurant from the Berkshire Record Annual Restaurant Guide, we were embarrassed to subject our guests to this on the final night of a Berkshire holiday. The only saving grace was the bread.

Went back again. Once again the food was fabulous! The service was once again exemplary! Today I was waited on by Kim. In the past I have been waited on by Chris. Over the past couple of months I have been here 3 times and every time I was treated as a long time friend. Truly a delightful experience.

This would be a four star review if the hostess wasn’t so rude that both my dinner partner and I found ourselves muttering obscenities to ourselves and wondering if we should eat somewhere else. This was an early arrival — about 4:30. We had called ahead and been spoken to as if we were idiots, which should have dissuaded us, but did not. One we got seated our experience was dramatically improved. I had the Prim rib Special which was slightly over cooked, but a solid B and my dinner partner had the Bakes Stuffed Filet of Soul which was a solid B+. The server was attentive, helpful and pleasant as well.

A gentle hint: When you are booked solid for the evening, and a polite, middle-aged couple walk in and ask to be seated, the correct response is, «I’m sorry, we’re fully booked tonight.» Instead, here’s how it went: Hostess: Reservation? Couple: «No, sorry.» Hostess, in a mean voice: «No.» Given the pervasive smell of month-old fish in the foyer, we were actually pretty happy with this outcome, and we went and had a perfectly delightful meal at the Peruvian place 2 doors down. But as a public service, I feel obliged to tell the management of Salmon Whathaveyou that they should consider sending their Hostess for a refresher in Restaurant Etiquette 101.

Great little find. Driving through town and stopped because they had a sign for lobster rolls. They were delish. So we’re the fish tacos. Would go back.

If this place was any bigger of a joke! Greasy Prefab frozen seafood, jarred sauce, trying to be passed off as fresh? That bad! Drinks with no alcohol and undrinkable wine! Doesn’t get much worse than that till you get rushed out cause the want to turn your table!

Fun atmosphere, great service, AMAZING food. Crab cakes & clam chowder apps were fantastic & the baked stuffed scrod to follow was delicious. Very phenomenal sea food, I highly recommend it.

Get a reservation, but if not it’s worth the wait!!! I have never been to Massachusetts before. But I thought, hey MA is New England I gotta have some seafood. Oh boy did they! The seafood sampler appetizer was delicious, Big shrimp with buffalo sauce, thick bacon around the scallops and crispy calamari with a hearty marinara. Worth the price. The place was reasonable in pricing. My salmon was thick and grilled with lemon garlic butter… So good. Boyfriend got fried seafood platter, he was in Heaven. Definitely a spot to hit when in Western MA

My bf and I were excited to snag a seat at the bar, as this place was awfully busy on a Saturday night. We both ended up getting pasta dishes,(1 Scallop /1 salmon) and were pretty disappointed. The food was sub-par at best, and reminded me of Olive Garden(I love Olive Garden, but — I expected more from this place) I measure the success of many restaurants by how quickly my bf finishes his food and begins eating mine; we got a doggy bag for both meals here. However, in more positive light, the calm strips were good and the bartender was awesome. Maybe I’d give this place another go if I’m ever back in the Berkshires.

Food was great. My wife and I were both very pleased with what we got. We shared the crabcake appetizer(coming with a side of cole slaw was kind of weird, but it was very good cole slaw). I got the shrimp trio and she got the salmon sampler. I liked being able to get the different types of preparations of the seafood in a single dish and each of use enjoyed all three. It was very busy, so I was grateful we called ahead, but the kitchen was also backed up so it was a long night. We were not in a hurry, so it was ok. The review is primarily positive for the food though, it was great.

The waitress was not emotional. She didn’t seem excited with her job and didn’t ask us how the food is, ect. The food, however, was amazing. I purchased clam strips and the other members in my party got lobster salad and pasta with Alfredo sauce. The person who got the lobster salad said it was a little too heavy on the mayonnaise. The way the food and drinks were presented was nice too. I would come back again.

I chose this restaurant based on the mostly positive reviews, our experience was quite disappointing. The service, food and décor were all poor. They don’t have a website, which should have tipped us off that something was amiss. No Wifi. The price of the food exceeds the quality of the experience. Ordered eggplant fries for an appetizer. They appeared to be out of a box. They managed to be both bland and gross. We did not eat them. The server went on and on about how everybody loves them so much. Insinuating that it isn’t the frozen bland food that is the problem, but that there was something wrong with us for not liking it. She did take it off the bill though. The service was horrible. A family of 4 came in after us, they had finished their meal and we were still waiting for our entrees. We just sat there for quite some time with our gross uneaten appetizer. Eventually our server took it away, and we continued to wait. She did not let us know what the delay was, or acknowledge that we were waiting a long time. The excessive wait was not worth it. The crab cakes were probably the most disappointing part of the meal. I love crab cakes and have ordered them at many restaurants all over the country. I have never had crab cakes with so much breading. The décor is as bland as the food. There are other restaurants in Lee, I recommend giving them a try first. We will not be returning.
