I enjoy stopping here but it is a bit nasty. The garbage dining area needs to be cleaned more often along with the restrooms. Also, the garbage needs to be taken out and the outside trash cans need dumped too!

*** Pit stop review(Lebec) *** Took a break from driving and stopped here to fuel-up and get something quick to eat. When you’re on the road as much as I am there are a few things important to me. Not in any particular order: * Easy freeway access. The place needs to be close to the off-ramp/on-ramp. * Quick food that fits my craving. * Safe place to pull over. * Clean place to eat. * Clean restroom. Going through places through the grapevine I have my favorite spots, but I selected a different exit this time because fuel was running low. Here’s the lowdown. What did I like… * Just tried the Buttery Jack Portabello Mushroom burger. This is one of the 3 Buttery Jack burgers. If you’re going to select one to try out, you have to try this one. This burger is absolutely delicious! * The eating area seems pretty clean. * Easy access off the freeway, and back on the freeway. Here’s what I didn’t like… * The service was sllowwww. * The cashier was looking everywhere but at me when she was taking my order. I know I shouldn’t expect much from fast food places, but I thought it was a bit rude and a little odd. Food = Buttery Jack Portabello Mushroom burger was delicious! Seating area = clean Service = poor Restroom = looks new, but very dirty. (I want to give 2 stars for the restroom, 2 stars for the service, and 5 stars for the burger.)

Horrible location!!! Bathrooms are disgustingly filthy. Worse than any other public bathroom you could possibly imagine. I clearly ordered 4 of the same combo number #28, yet the order was still rung up incorrectly as #24… they dont even sound the same — she had to erase the entire order and start over again. Waited 20 minutes for 4 sausage grande sriracha burritos — 20 minutes! We saw 4 customers that came after us get their orders first. When we finally got our order, all of the fries were cold, and even though our burritos were hot, there was NO sriracha sauce in any of them. What a gip!!! Will never make the mistake of pulling off on Grapevine Road for this location ever again!

I would normally not write a review for a Jack in the Box, but have to warn the public about the food poisoning I got from the new breakfast burrito on 8÷26÷14. I could not work or be more than a few feet from the bathroom for 2 days. The first day was so bad, I considered calling an ambulance because there was no way I would have been able to drive myself to urgent care. I made a formal complaint on the corporate website and when someone finally returned my call, she said all she could offer was some store credit — to which I replied«I guess I could give them to homeless people.» Needless to say, I never received anything for having been poisoned by this place.

Absolutely the WORST experience ever at ANY fast-food restaurant. When we arrived at 11:45 am there were about 10 customers seated at tables. Wife and I go into the bathrooms. The men’s room looks like a bomb went off. Towels on the floor, and what looked like blood on the toilet — and it smelled. Looked like no one was in there this week. Wife comes out and tells me her bathroom was worse. At the time, I didn’t notice that the other customers didn’t have any food in front of them. There was one guy running the register, another in the kitchen, and a gal working the drive-thru and packing orders. Placed the order and sat down expecting food within 5 minutes. 5 minutes go by and I look around and now notice NOONE has food and they are all staring at their receipts. I go up and ask if there is a «problem.» «Oh, no sir, your food will be out shortly,» she said. 15 minutes and 20 minutes go buy, and only one order comes out of the kitchen. Now I am making eye contact with the other customers who are rolling their eyes. 25 minutes go by, and only two other orders come out. I go up and now I am mad, and say, «What is the problem? Are you short employees today? Some snot-nosed kid who was doing the cooking said in a sarcastic tone, «That would be a good assumption.» I would have walked out then, but we were hungry and didn’t have time to change locations. Our food comes out 2 minutes later. My wife’s chicken bowl was a joke. The chicken was still frozen inside. I take it back and give it to the gal. I ask her to reheat, but that would be some type of food violation(like cleanliness meant anything to them). My burger is getting cold while they re-make hers, and I am done when her’s comes out. Her first bite into it she finds that the chicken is still frozen inside. She eats only the rice, and when she is done, I take it back and get our money back. Also, some employee who obviously wasn’t a cook felt compelled to mop the entire floor making the floors slippery. The worst part was she rudely mopped around people’s feet while they were sitting at their tables. Hey Mr. Manager, mop at another time when the place isn’t full, and deploy her to the bathroom to clean that cesspool. Summary, under-staffed, dirty, poor customer service, terrible food, rude staff. As punishment, I will add them to my «Never Going There Ever Again List.» They are #2 right behind Applebees — go read my review on that dump.

Usually, I’m a pretty healthy eater and don’t frequent fast food restaurants except on road trips. One of my road trip addictions for years has been the Sourdough Breakfast jack for breakfast and Sourdough Jack for lunch. Yesterday on the way back from OC to the Bay Area, I stopped here for a Breakfast Jack. First, pit stop in the restroom, which was filthy with trash cans overflowing and the stall i was in had no paper. Fortunately, an employee was in there cleaning, so she passed me some paper. then the paper towel dispenser was empty, but there was a big roll sitting on top of it, so no problem. And I figured the cleaner was going to make all this good. So then i went to order my Sourdough Breakfast Jack. It doesn’t seem to be on the menu any more… there is a «grilled breakfast sandwich» and I’m told it’s not sourdough bread, but it’s bigger and you get it cut in half. You can still get the sourdough one, but it comes with ham, not bacon. Well, I wanted bacon, so I ordered the bigger one, figuring I could do without the sourdough bread… how much difference could it make, right? Made it clear that i wanted bacon, not ham. The picture showed bacon. Then when he gave me the total, it was quite a bit more than the listed price; seems they haven’t updated their signs. I waited a REALLY long time for my food and while watching, I noticed the girl that had been cleaning the bathroom back in the kitchen handling food without gloves. I really, really was hoping that she had washed her hands! And there was no way she could have cleaned that whole bathroom in that amount of time, so i wondered about that too. Everyone was moving as slow as molasses. The guy who served me was super sweet and nice, but really didn’t seem to have much of a clue otherwise. Finally, my order came. Went to my car, unwrapped it, and discovered ham, not bacon. Disappointment. But not enough to go back in and wait another 15 minutes, so I just left. The sandwich was gross and I only ate half of it. The hash browns, which i usually love, weren’t very crispy and were just saturated with grease and only lukewarm. Even the OJ was sour tasting. All in all, it was horrible enough that I am now DONE with Jack in the Box. No more. For lunch, it was Subway. Healthier choices anyway.

This Jack in the Box is horrible. They didn’t have a lot of the items featured on the menu. The staff is rude, and unorganized. It only makes sense that it will be extremely busy on December 31st and it’s obvious they’re unprepared. Wait lines to order are long, and slow moving. I asked for lemonade and got a knock off sprite(flat). Disgusting and dirty tables, trash spilling out of the trash cans. This is just gross.

Horrible! We went at 736 on a Saturday morning, it was moderately busy but not nearly busy enough to make us wait forty minutes for a simple order! And after the wait they missed part of our order! Not a good experience when we are trying to get somewhere. However the man who gave us our food gave us extra for the mess up.

Stopped in for some grub on a very cold saturday night. Nice & warm and not busy. Food was ready after 3 – 4 minutes and the order was correct. I have stopped at this location several times on road trips to L.A., Oceanside, etc. It’s just on the north side of the grapevine. Easy on/off 5.

This is a really good Jack In The Box. I wish they all had the quality of food that this one has. Interesting characters there on the night we went. One guy was telling his co-worker how he had been working for 20 years already before his co-worker was born and some other stuff about how this location is just a highway restaurant, which is really true since there’s not much else out there. Burger and fries very good and very fresh. I’d go again on the next trip to LA.

Oh hey Jack in the Crack. I love your fries, your sourdough Jack, and your convenient location since I can fuel up before hauling my little toyota up the treacherous path. I don’t stop here at this exit often cause gas is waaay too expensive. If you want cheap gas, then you need to keep your eyes peeled for LOVE gas station(several exits before this one). But if you missed it, this exit is a plus since it has Jack in the Box

Wow. Probably one of the best customer service I’ve ever gotten at any kind of fast food place. On a drive down to LA, the boys decided to stop by the drive thru to pick up some food. The guy sounded so kind and polite, and even gave us his name. We were impressed already. He was very attentive and took our orders exactly how we wanted it. Offered us more than we asked. He, John, was the best Fast food worker ever! Seriously, I can barely get this kind of service and attitude at a regular restaurant nowadays. Who would’ve ever expected it to be at a drive thru at 2 in the morning. Now, McD and burger king, etc., please take note! That’s the kind of customer service I’m talking about!

At the bottom of the Grapevine you will find Jack in the Box if you need a quick bite or a pit stop. Going from southern to northern Cali is the time the family and I do our junk food runs. Jack in the Box is on our list of places to stop because of the variety of food. Okay burgers, curly fries, pita sandwiches, the Sourdough Jack, low prices and we discovered grilled chicken. My middle and youngest boys love grilled chicken. Jack in the Box has this on the menu and this location pointed that out to me. Thank you for that information.

Who doesn’t love Jack’s tacos? They’re 2 for $ 1 and come in bags so greasy you can pretty much see through them. I dig this location. It’s clean and easy to find — though that turn-off ramp sneaks up on you. Customer service was great — they brought our food to the table which normally doesn’t happen at fast food joints so kudos for that. Parking is easy and the Chevron is right there for an easy fill-up. Can’t complain.

Hey man. It’s jack in the box. — Ultra powerfully sweet coca cola — super salty & greasy & delicious sandwiches — cheap and fast My sister ordered a strawberry smoothie which had a disconcerting texture to it(like tiny beads). Didn’t stop us from finishing the damn thing though.

Driving down from Nor-Cal, I was very pissed off when the car in the lane over did not allow me to exit so I missed the exit with the McDonald’s and Chevron. Luckily, I saw Jacks. Pretty much your regular good old fashioned Jack in the box. Friendly, and the workers get excited when groups of girls walk in. All the cars in the lot were pretty tight though I must ad. Even though this has nothing to do with the food, these Jack in the box employees had pretty souped up civics and acuras. So, I give 4 stars for nice atmosphere; parking lot ombiance.
