Slowest in n out ever! 2 cars ahead of me and it took over 18 aminutes… Lame… My burger wasn’t even hot and my light fries were soggy and oily… Never been so disappointed… Not to mention this one costs more… Guess it’s because it close to the freeway!!!

I drive up and down the coast fairly often, and the In-N-Out in Kettleman City is my usual stop along the way. It turns out that’s not the only In-N-Out on this drive, though, and on our last home to L.A., we waited a little longer and stopped in Lebec, by the Tejon outlets. The short version of this review: It was exactly like every other In-N-Out I’ve ever been to, down to the placement of the bathrooms and condiments. Service was great, and the food, of course, was perfect. We were coming down from a gluttonous trip in the Napa Valley, so we did deviate from our usual Double Doubles and ordered single cheeseburgers like a couple of monks. I got mine with grilled onions and helped myself to a pile of yellow peppers. The Double Double is better, but even the single cheeseburger is a work of art, and it costs like $ 3. I think at this point I’ve Unilocaled something like ten In-N-Outs, but I can’t help myself – they’re all just so wonderful. This location was there for us when we needed it, and I’ll probably come back on some other trip along the 5.

What can you say about In-N-Out other than they have great burgers and fries? Well, a lot! This place was packed out. You know the little signs that they put in places that say stuff like«This room is designed for 100 people»? Well on December 27th at 2 p.m., the place was holding some multiple that went beyond that number. It was impossible to move in that place without bumping into someone. This did not matter to me because I had been thinking about In-N-Out for 300 miles and I would have been willing to walk across broken bottles and hot coals from one bite of a cheeseburger with extra onions. This location is off Interstate 5 just before you make that pull up the grade. I have a couple of tips to make your life easier if you end up like me being number 64 and they are serving number 2 — go outside and sit in your car while you wait. You can hear them calling out the numbers. When they got to number 22, the girl had some fun. She said«Number 22! Number toooot! toooot!» I wished I had number 22. I stood with locked anticipation that when my order came up the whole crew would stop, rush to the counter and sing to me: It didn’t happen. One thing I always like about In-N-Out is the young people who work there. That place was(in my estimation) burger hell — pandamonium — but the people at the counter were still smiling and having fun. It is hard work constantly rushing to get the food out and having to listen to all the noise — yet they still have fun and are cheerful — and it’s not just this restaurant but all of them. I’m always amazed and uplifted when I go to In-N-Out and see it all happen over and over again: great burger, great staff!

This place needs a serious health inspection. My burger had a long, wavy hair intricately entangled inside the meat and other ingredients. It was disgusting and i gagged and i completely lost my appetite. They need to wear hair nets. It’s that easy.

Maybe I am crazy but I swear the food tastes better here than any other In-N-Out Burger location!

No complaints here. Good example of how all In-N-Outs should be. There really isn’t anything else to say! Enjoy!!!

This In-N-Out is a great rest stop along the way on the 5! Granted, we were there pretty late at night, but it wasn’t too terribly crowded and it was also the largest In-N-Out I’ve ever been to! It was nice to be in my familiar stopping place but for it to be more spacious, there were even 6 stalls in the women’s rest room which meant no lines for me after 3 hours of driving and a lot of water, yay! Mostly, I’m reviewing because I thought my burger looked and was particularly delicious, so I think this one was a great stop.

In n’ out, no food chain can compare. This is the closest In N’ Out to my house and i come here often. Your burgers cqn never go wrong here. It’s juicy and soft. I would eat here anyday over Mc Donald, Jack in the box, etc. However, if you go at night prepare yourself for the long line and waiting. There is no other In N’ Out near by so it could get really crowded, especially at night DRIVETHRU. Drive thru is the worsest place you wanna be in. The wait can get to an hour or more. I recommend you to go inside. But if you are really craving it, waiting isn’t a problem.

Worst In-N-out experience of all time. I know it’s late but this is unreal. Not one clean table, and they seemed put out when I asked them to clean one. Milk shake machine was down. Burger came up 5 min before fries and they said«cooked more so we didn’t get gross ones»… My burger was a double when I ordered a single. And I was soggy and smashed. We seriously cannot believe this represents our beloved in-n-out chain. A truly weird experience. See my burger pic

Summary based on a couple of visits, traveling north or south: –freeway access ok, unlike Santa Nella –usual food options, though I had to smile at the reviewer who downgraded because no veg option. It’s on the«secret“menu –needs wifi

What can I say about an In-N-Out in the middle of nowhere? For such a crowded place, they have a pretty decent wait time for getting your order. The restaurant is pretty clean too for the amount of foot traffic coming in. The workers are really friendly and very willing to help customers(saw it with other tables). I got a double cheese protein wrap and it was a good size with tons of lettuce! It might also have been the best wrapped and put together protein wrap I’ve had at an In-N-Out!!! Bonus points in my book for having sliced lemons by the fountain drinks. I used them both for my water and coke! :) Unilocal 100 Challenge — 21 of 100

Food: — Cheeseburger: Animal style, of course! My burger consisted of a beef patty, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, mustard, spread, and lettuce. I’ve had In-N-Out probably a hundred times and it’s always good. I may be a little bias because I used to work for the company but because I know how it’s ran I know everything is always fresh. 5⁄5 — Fries: Potatoes are hand-peeled, equipment cut, and perfectly fried. Every time. 5⁄5 Service: Quick and friendly. 4⁄5 Final thoughts: In-N-Out is my go-to fast food restaurant. Their food never gets old.

We tend to always stop here on our road trips to and from Sacramento(from LA). Plenty of parking. The place is always very clean. The staff always cheery. The only reason I knocked off a star is because of the wait time and its more expensive than all of the other in-n-outs.

First and last time at In-N-Out. I’d always heard my Cali friends raving about this place. I assumed something was really distinct about it. Don’t come here as a vegetarian. There’s only like 3 things on the menu. At least Burger King, Subway, Chipotle and Taco Bell have jumped on the consumer trend train and started offering vegetarian options. This place has 3 things: 1) a double double(with double meat and double cheese) 2) a cheeseburger and 3) a regular hamburger. All under 4 dollars. Maybe there is a secret menu I don’t know about but I felt totally unacknowledged as a vegetarian. Wasn’t California progressive? Come here if you’re a meat eater looking for a good cheap meal.

It is In N Out —– you know what that means. Great Burgers, consistent from location to location. Long Lines — but they move through them as quickly as they can. This location is no different from any of the rest. Bless their heart !

Man this location can get busy! Just keep that in mind. It’s probably best to divide and conquer. Send some people in your party to start scoping out parking the second you arrive and leave some to stand in line to put in an order. That’s the best advise I can give. Hell, maybe even hop out and let someone find parking while the rest of the group does the above tips. Even better! After that, the food’s as good as you’ve come to expect from In-N-Out as is the customer service.

That glorious moment when you’re finally on highway 5 after weaving in and out of the Grapevine… and you see an In N Out. Of course, I had to stop by and order my lovely animal style fries. I love my animal style fries WELL-DONE and with extra banana peppers(or as they call it here — chillies)… but unfortunately they didn’t leave the fries in longer in the fryer :(My fries were soggy. I asked for one thing… and that was to cook my fries until they were extra crispy! :(*cries*

Whenever I made a return trip from the SF Bay Area, I always stopped off @ this exit which I refer to as «The Petro Stop.»(If you’ve ever been here, you know what I mean.) ‘Whether if the stop is for gas @ the Chevron just across the parking lot, a grande mocha from Starbuck’s, a wifi connection for my MacBook, or a quick visit w/friends @ The Iron Skillet… Overall, it’s a pretty good place to stretch your legs. Driving north to the SF Bay Area, I would«sometimes» stop here… I have a rule, if it’s not on my side of the 5FWY& I have to drive over an overpass to get across to it, «Pass.»(Yeh, I’m weird like that.) However, it’a a rule that is relatively flexible depending on the fuel gauge… ‘Or my bladder. IN-N-OUT — This particular IN-N-OUT seems to be aways busy… ‘More so on a Friday evening, close to midnight. I would’ve gone to the drive-thru window but that line was even longer than the inside. Photo — I went for my usual, Double-Double… I had HAPA, my bully-pit, as my co-pilot on this particular BART(Bay Area Road Trip), and I missed his 8:30pm feeding due to the fact that we left later than anticipated. Photo — Photo — So, to make things easy as well as more delicious for HAPA Boy, he was about to have his first IN-N-OUT Double-Double, 100% Protein Style… ‘And he inhaled it.(Yeh, I think he liked it…) HAPA — The lines move fast here which is always appreciated and the food comes out piping hot!(‘Another huge plus!) After all, there’s no better way to enjoy french fries but fiery hot right from the fryer… Good sh’tuff! I always look forward to IN-N-OUT on my Bay Area Road Trips… ‘But it’s not until I’m back on the road with burger & box in my lap that I’m reminded of the hazards… Note: IN-N-OUT is best eaten parked in your car or inside the restaurant, not to mention the least messy. This ISNOT a McD’s hamburger where only one hand is needed since the only thing that might fall out of your bun is a dilapidated pickle slice. IN-N-OUT burgers need to be safely operated with two hands, remember to bend @ the knees when lifting. — Big Aloha! Food: 4+ Service: 5 Ambiance: 3+ Value: 5

I know what people might be thinking why would you need to write about In-N-Out but honestly every time I come back from a vacation or a long trip from overseas I end up right back to this place to grab a delicious burger! The prices are amazing, they are still super cheap and the food taste exactly the same as it did years ago when I first tried it out. While going up to SF my friends and I stopped by this one in Lebec. Yes they always have a line but the service and speed of getting your hot food is super fast. I always just get a regular hamburger with onions. Most of the time we will share fries since honestly the burger is pretty filling and I’m not one to dig in on all those fries from here. They are alright but the fries aren’t super amazing. If you are coming from overseas and are on a vacation, you should for sure stop by In-N-Out it is way better than Mc Donalds or any other type of fast food and you will enjoy it more!!! Also if you want to stay semi healthy you can order it «protein style» which means it has no bread bun thingie. I personally didn’t enjoy it as much as a regular hamburger with a bun. But you might want to try it out!
