Tasty! This dried fruit counter is tucked inside one of the 100’s of trinket shoppes in Leavenworth but it’s worth a try. The staff were awesome and generous with the sampling of various treats which helps the stuff sell themselves. I really enjoyed the tart dried cherries, locally grown, dried and processed. No additional junk added which is always appreciated. The prices are steep, this bag pictured is 6 ounces of mixed dried cherries which cost around $ 9.00 it’s a nice option to snack on while visiting Leavenworth. They also do shipping and mail order with a wide catalog selection. I will be back for more.

Simply delightful! Chukar Cherries is a local Seattle Company providing a high quality and tasty product made from local ingredients. Chukar offers many options of dried fruits and nuts covered in chocolate, or not, including organic and sugar free. The friendly sales associate offered us many samples and was proud to share the Chukar story. We were excited to find that Chukar has a store located at Pike Place market, much closer for additional orders. We will be sure to visit the store in Leavenworth again!

Oh my God, the honey pecans. THEHONEYPECANS. I’m not a fan of milk chocolate but this… SOGOOD. It’s an unusual stores in that it’s a combination of 3 in 1. It’s a chocolate store, antique store and tasting room all in one. I wasn’t a fan of their wine(it might have been because I’d just had all that chocolate) but have I mentioned their honey pecans? Their salestaff were so friendly and were almost shoving samples at us. The first one I tried was the black forest cherry. I had to buy a bag for my cousin who is CRAZY for black forest. I’m not normally a fan but yum. Then I tried the honey pecan and didn’t want to try anything else. The chocolate is delicious but the true star is the pecan. The crispy, crunchy pecan. No idea how they keep it so crunchy but I appreciate it. I also bought the cocoa pecan and it’s pretty good. Same crispy, crunchy pecan but with dark chocolate. I’m normally a dark chocolate girl but the honey pecan still wins overall. Definite recommend. (PS: I’m not sure how to say this but my friend didn’t really like their Cherry Blossom. Her review of it was that it tasted too cherry. Take that as you will. Yes, she’s probably crazy.)
