I think most of these people are just excited to have a restaurant so close to all the neighborhoods on 518. That being said. I think the food is decent but nothing to write home about. Service was good.

Wow stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The amount of food on the lunch menu was far more than I expected as were the pork dumplings. The Hunan beef was very good with better than anticipated beef, also the spice level was very good coulda been hotter but still good none the less. Small quaint place even in a strip location. Highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Extremely fresh and delicious Asian cuisine; their Singapore Chow Mei Fu is my personal favorite. Beau loves the Cantonese Chow Mein and shrimp rolls. You can bring your on own wine to this family owned and operated restaurant. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The best part,…they deliver! Enjoy! –Kimberly Harding, RE/MAX Synergy in League City.

My wife and I had lunch here. This hole-in-the-wall Chinese food place is excellent in every way. The owners and staff are very friendly and provided us with superb service. We ordered off the lunch menu and the portion sizes were what I would expect on a dinner plate. After filling up, there was enough food for at least another meal. The food was hot and flavorful. The egg rolls were light and fresh. The hot and sour soup was loaded with vegetables and tasted great. The staff even prepared our to-go containers for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting Chinese food.

When my bill came out to $ 30, i thought I would be getting some amazing, delicious food. We were in the mood for some Asian food and were looking for something different than the normal 888 Chinese restaurant. Wrong idea. The portion of our dinner was pretty good and the cheese puffs were amazing. and that’s all I can really say about this place. The orange chicken tasted ehh. And I had the broccoli beef and it tasted bland. Like I said their portions are decent and I had leftovers. Usually I can’t wait to eat leftovers but I just couldn’t. i ended up throwing most of it away. We will go back to our 888 Chinese

Recently moved here and tried this place a few times now. Great food and great service! I always order the general tso’s chicken with egg roll, fried rice and egg drop soup. Tried wonton soup once but love love love the egg drop! The lunch prices are great and lasts until 4pm! I love the idea of the free delivery but have yet to try it since I live maybe a mile away if that. The portions are huge so I can always count on leftovers or sharing one meal and maybe get an extra egg roll or soup. I had a little place back home in Austin that I loved and this one really lives up to it!

This has quickly become our favorite Chinese food restaurant in all of Clear Lake/Webster/League City. They are located almost 2 miles west of the Gulf Freeway on FM518. We went with friends on our first visit at their recommendation. We have not looked back. We have not been to another Chinese food restaurant since our initial visit. The food comes in huge portions. Every dish we have had so far is large enough to split between two people and still have some leftovers. We have a tendency to gravitate towards the House Lo Mien and an order of spring rolls. We have also ordered various dishes from their menu and have never been disappointed. Lucy is extremely friendly and accommodating. Be aware that the restaurant is small and can get crowded. However, I think most of their business is take-out or delivery so most of the time you can get a table. Most tables will fit 2 – 4 people. If you have a large group(6 – 8), they will push tables together for you if they can. If your group gets to 10, you may have difficulty sitting together. If you don’t feel like going out, have it delivered. Is it wrong of me to know that the regular three delivery drivers are Nick, Ethan, and Tommy? We have had food delivered more than once(obviously) and it always arrives hot. They do have a minimum delivery amount so we can’t order just one meal. However, two meals and an order of spring rolls is normally enough to meet the minimum. We just end up eating it the next day. If you are in the area and want great Chinese, do yourself a favor and git it from here. I don’t think you will be disappointed. if you found this review useful, funny or cool, please let me know below. Now, put your phone down and be social with the person at your table.

I really recommend this place, as it is my go-to for Chinese dine in or take out. Great food, very generous portions, at inexpensive prices. And not to mention the friendliest owners at any place I’ve ever been. Not a large or overly fancy place. In a tiny strip center on Main St. in League City, this is the perfect little place for lunch or dinner. Oh, and this place is always clean(for all you germiphobes).

Wong’s is one of the best Chinese food places in League City. Every dish we ever ordered has always been great. The portion size they give is enough for two, even the To-go orders are. The staff is nice & friendly & I must add they deliver within so many miles. #support your local business owners!

Good food in big portions, for an affordable price and free delivery! Can’t beat it! We order from here about once a month or so, and have not been disappointed. I only wish they had more egg rolls in an order because my husband likes to be greedy and eat them lol

Stopped here on the way back to gtown due to the reviews. I’m always looking for a good Chinese spot in the area. Unfortunately I was not impressed with my dish. I ordered the general Tso’s chicken. It was over breaded with not much extra sauce, which is what I look forward to with a Chinese dish– saucy with enough to mix in with the rice. While he portion seemed large, there were too many larger pieces with only a small piece of chicken in the middle. In addition to the quality, I was also disappointed that they would not sub out my rice for shrimp fried rice, which is something I do nearly every time I order from a Chinese spot. I told them that I would like shrimp fried rice instead and that I would not mind paying the additional fee for the difference in pricing. It is kind of annoying when a restaurant says that«can’t» do something especially when all it involves is an up charge. To me, accommodating the desires of the guests is simply great customer service. Overall, the food was average and I won’t be returning since there are average Chinese options on the island so I could just go there. Still in search of an awesome General Tso’s dish. I shall keep looking :-/

Had food delivered fast and still hot! The guy who answered the phone was awesome & answered all my questions without sounding irritated which is a huge plus for me and the delivery guy was very nice and polite another plus. This will be my go to from now on, the dumplings, lo mein, cheese puffs were terrific

If you don’t like Wong’s then you need to go see a doctor because there is clearly something«wong» with you. This place was really really good. When we arrived, the place was empty(a family showed up right as we did), so we were concerned that this was not going to be good. Because we were both really hangry, we opted to get appetizers. I ordered A4 Spring Rolls. I was thinking they were the fried type, but they were more like the Vietnamese cold type. They were chock full of cabbage, noodles and shrimp. Tasty but way too filling. Hubby ordered the cheese puffs, which I have always called rangoons. They were VERY tasty, but we would have preferred a half-order option as there were quite a few. For our entrees, he ordered moo goo gai pan and I got Hunan chicken. Hubby said the moo goo gai pan was the best he has had in the entire area, and he is ultra particular. My Hunan chicken was veggies, white chicken and brown sauce and was so good! I think next time we’ll skip the appy’s and just order entrees because everything came out so fast, that we didn’t have time to eat our appy’s before the food arrived. The older lady that works there is awesome, too! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Oh, and by the time we left, there were only 1 or 2 tables available … it was packed!

I don’t get the high reviews. It really wasn’t special. The staff was great, perfect even. I absolutely loved the egg drop soup, but that’s about it. The egg rolls were sort of bland and the red sauce was like red water. It had no real flavor at all. I got Kung Pow chicken and it was all wrong. The chicken was in huge chunks, way too large for chop sticks. The sauce was again bland, just like the egg rolls and red sauce. The motif was that of a pick up joint, not at all a dine in. There are so many better places to eat.

In a word: WOW! We severely underestimated the portion sizes. I am happy we changed our mind about ordering a plate for our child. We decided to try the Sweet and Sour Pork, Orange Chicken, Egg Drop soup, and Cantonese Chow Mein. All but the soup came with a side of rice, so we did try both steamed and fried rice. The food was positively amazing! No kidding, so good, but SOMUCHFOOD! The prices are CHEAP for the amount of food you get! They even offer free delivery within 5 miles of their establishment. We had to take most of our food home with us in defeat. It’s only been 4 months since they opened and we anticipate they’ll stick around! Be advised, the service works super hard to take care of you! At times, you may have to wait a bit, but not terribly long. Try this place out!
