Not sure if it’s a need to review a Spec’s…I mean it’s Spec’s people. They sell alcohol and lots of it.

So how much is there to say about a store like specs? I recently tried a new beer and figured I’d look here first to buy some for myself. I went straight to the beer section and much to my surprise they had just what I needed. So glad I can’t count on this location to save me time.
One small note about this visit is that no one, and I mean NO ONE offered to help or ask what I was looking for. It wasn’t busy and I was in the store for about 10 minutes. Kinda bummed about that because I really enjoy the knowledge and beer/​wine suggestions of the employees. Sadly I didn’t get that this time. But no biggie.

Even though this is a smaller specs than the one in Friendswood, I really like it because it’s close to home!
Great selection of wine (and the employees are always so helpful!) and they even have skinny lemon drop mix and margarita mix for those of us who are trying to cut out some of the calories!
I like when they are giving samples of vodka and tequila, too!

You can’t beat the selection or the customer service in this location! There were 2 gentlemen who helped us today, an older one & a younger one. Hate that I don’t remember their names but they are very knowledgeable about the products they sell.

Cash or debit will get you a discount, much needed when preparing for a large party. Large variety to choose from, plenty of helpful staff around to answer any questions.

Ok so I love my Kemah Specs but it is tiny. When I need a broader selection I head to the League City location. Pretty big selection and the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. On my last visit I was on the Vodka isle once the clerk saw waht I was buying he offered his opinion on it as well as similar vodkas. On the way to the check out we checked out some Moonshine that was up front. He was quick to point out it was from the TV show and was overpriced. To top it off it was 40 proof. He gave us an option for a better one that was stronger and cheaper. Lets not forget the beer selection which is great as well as the checkout ladies that are always so friendly
