Bacchus is a different kind of wine bar. It’s small, only open three days a week(Th, F, Sat) and feels more like a private club than a public bar. Chris is wildly knowledgeable and has very strong opinions, a trait I very much like in a proprietor. Broad selection of wines. If any complaint can be made it is they are a tad weak on French wines — and they are not really THAT weak. Chris isnt afraid to try unique wines but will always give you a sample. Dont be afriad to say no. Food is good if not amazing. Pizzas, cheese plates… what ive had was good. If you want a quiet glass of wine, sit at a table. If you’re a talker, head to the bar.

Great wine bar in the League City area, the owners, Chris & Toni are sweet, hilarious & Northeners so I felt right a home. I went here on a weeknight & it was quiet but I ain’t complaining! From what I remember they are open from Thursday-Sunday inclusively. The indoor is lightly lit & lots of wood, I know this is a weird comment but it feels like a wine bar. It’s intimate & cosy. Parking is limited unless there is some in the back that I did not see. The 2 complaints I would have are: 1) the music was too loud considering that there were only a maximum of 8 customers at some point. 2) When we walked in, there was no one to help us out, I waited for around 5 minutes & looked at a couple that was sitting & asked them if they knew of it was closed o_O. I finally walked to the back area & found someone in the kitchen & she went to get someone outside. Once someone was inside then we were well taken care of! They have a lovely patio in the back. The prices are reasonable & the wine options are pretty good. I would happily go here for a girl’s night or a date night. I will be returning here in the future & making sure I get the word out about this place!

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. The moody lighting and decorations are amazing! The staff is cool too. I’m not very knowledgeable on wine, but it appears they have a strong, varied selection. The only drawback I see to this place is that the prices are a bit steep.

Their Spartan burger is phenomenal and if you are crazy hungry you can ask for it to be Hercules’d or Zeus’d which will add 1 or 2 extra patties respectively. Be prepared for a food coma afterwards though, it’s a crazy amount of goodness!

This place above all has excellent customer service. My husband and I went for our first time and loved it! The owner and his wife are VERY helpful with selecting the right wine for you and the place itself is very nicely decorated, and gives a cozy feel. Very welcoming atmosphere, very chill and relaxing. Only wish the music was playing a tiny bit louder, I was sitting on the far end of the room though. Definitely returning!

Owner Chris remembered my name after only a few times in here after a year and a half not coming in… had fond memories so dropped in on a very rare opportunity to get out on a Saturday night. Had a nice time and a great beer he showed me last time I was in. Owner is very knowledgeable and a fun guy to talk to. Also nice to see a small business bar owned by a couple, and very comfortable place.

Super cute local bar. I want this to be my neighborhood bar. Went on a week night and you could tell everyone else was a regular. They were small town friendly as well. The patio with lights was exactly what I knew could exist but couldn’t find. I had a beer and champagne concoction that was pretty damn good. I think it was called brown velvet which actually doesn’t sound appetizing but the drink was finished.

Cozy atmosphere and inviting outdoor area(if only it wasn’t so cold right now). The wine selection is vast and our bartender knew his wines. The beers on the menu included a wide range of craft brews. We didnt drink any beer but enjoyed browsing the offerings. Don’t park at the resale shop next door. Apparently she tows, and the bar patrons and bartenders remind you of this. I will definitely be back!

Without a doubt, this is one of my new favorite spots. What a fantastic place to have in our League City neighborhood. I’ve driven by this place a million times, but finally decided to stop by, and couldn’t be happier that I did. The place is delightfully small and quaint and the décor and atmosphere is quite charming. The music in the background was excellent and the owner even lets the patrons hook up thru blue-tooth and play their own music. There is a great selection of wine and craft beer and the food was excellent. Aside from that, what really sold me on the place were the owners Chris and Toni. They were very friendly, knowledgeable of their wine and beer, and knew most patrons that walked in by name. A new«go to» place for me… I only wish I had found it sooner!

Love this place! Good music, great wine selection and good service. Most evenings out these days include at stop by Bacchus either at the start or end of the night.

Great little wine bar with excellent wine and craft beer options, plus tasty small bites. Service attentive but sometimes slow. Not too fancy, not too divey. Just right.

This is by far the best wine bar in the League City/Webster area. It is cozy, and the wine list is extensive. They also offer a good selection of craft beers. They have a large patio outside, which is lovely when there is good weather. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and are always open to giving suggestions if you don’t know what to order. They also offer a small menu with foods such as a cheese plate, pizza, baked brie bowl, and a few other things. The brie bowl is my favorite! Friday nights you can expect live music, and Saturday night(my favorite night) is album night. They have a record player, and they let customers bring in albums to play. One of the cool things about this place is that you can sit at the bar where there is always lively conversation, or you can have a more personal experience at one of the couches or tables. All in all, it is a great establishment.

The wine selection is vast and pretty amazing. The venue is small, so I imagine it could get crowded. The small, but good selection of craft beer is a nice touch. Their pizza goes well with any wines!

Went with another couple tonight. Love, love, love that this little gem is in League City! Not many tables but we got a cozy seating in a little wine nook. We ordered glasses of Malbecs and Pinot Noir and a small(very) cheese plate — which was fine for predinner. Cheese and wine was lovely. Service was lacking a bit but they were prepping for a benefit within an hour so we gave them a pass. Will definitely go back! And word was they have live music every Friday night so that will be when we go back!
