Had the chicken parm, spaghetti with meatballs and the meatball sub. All were delicious. Fresh home made bread and an absolutely delicious marinara sauce. We had the tiramisu also and it was delicious as well.

Just finished the delivery we got from Luigi’s, and I’m very disappointed. They do not mention there will be a delivery fee, but it was put on my bill. The food was hot when delivered, so I had high hopes on tasting a fresh made meal. That was far from the truth. I ordered the chicken Marsala, but I got a plate of what tasted like dried out turkey. The«Marsala sauce» was nothing but lots of oil and mushrooms, with maybe a little wine in it for color, and no flavor. Being Italian, I know how these things should taste, and it missed the mark big time. Adding some garlic would really liven it up. There was a redeeming quality in the Italian dressing though, and my husband’s veal piccata, which is why I gave more than 1 star, but not worth $ 40.

We’ve been wanting to try here for a while having heard good things. We were part of a large group who called to make sure they had the capacity for our party size. There was only one waitress for the whole place and she was trying her best but the service was so slow. We waited over an hour for our one pizza and then she informed us she wrote the order down wrong. People in our party had finished eating and were leaving and we still hadn’t received our food. We finally just accepted the wrong pizza bc we didn’t have another hour to wait for the right one. It was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. My 2 year old never turns down pizza and she wouldn’t touch it. Needless to say, we won’t be going back

Staff is very friendly and accommodating with regards to special requests. They try very hard to please. Pizza is very good — we ask for«light sauce», and other dishes I have seen but not tried look very tasty.

I have not eaten at the restaurant, but I have taken a pizza to go twice now. I like the pizza, and the people are friendly and helpful. I would like to give a 3 ½, because they are better than just a 3. The crust is not too thin, not to thick. The sauce is not overwhelming. Overall this was an enjoyable slice of yummy!

Good food and good service. Second time going and got the lasagna and chicken piccata. Lasagna was good. Piccata could of had more lemon. Will I come back? Yes.

«4 and a half stars, this place must be pretty good, let’s go there.» Wow was I wrong. I should have known from when I walked in and the only server in the dinning room was in the corner watching tv while there were tables seated. Ordered drinks, and 10 – 12 minutes later they finally showed up. About this time another server walked out of the back room. So two guys, four or five tables, and it took almost a quarter of an hour to get waters. Things are going great. Another table has easily been waiting 15 minutes for their drinks too, oh wait, no they’re not, not anymore, because they just got up and left. I should have followed. Well we’ve been here for almost half an hour and we finally get order food. Appetizer, salads, four meals, two of which were kids meals. If you think any of it came promptly you haven’t been paying attention. Ten minutes later some bread arrives. No appetizer though. In fact, the appetizer never came at all. Then the saddest side salads I’ve ever seen showed up. I thought to myself, «how does this place have 4.5 stars? Literally everything has been awful so far, maybe the food is phenomenal or something.» WRONGAGAIN.(It was also about this time I saw the sign near the exit asking for 5 star reviews on Unilocal,so that explained a lot) The food eventually comes, we’ve been here an hour now, and he has the two adult meals. Okay great what about the kids meals? Oh they’re coming right out, he said implying that he could only carry those two plates so of course it would take two trips. Well, two minutes later and spaghetti that was obviously made in the last two minutes arrives for the kids. And the food is as crap as everything else. I’m not some food snob who has to wowed every time I eat, this is the second review I’ve ever written, and I don’t even know when the last time I used the word mundane was. But tonight I did. The food was mundane. Not good in any way. I’m almost glad now that the appetizer never showed up. My water glass has been empty for longer than I can remember. Finally the server shows up to check on us. Just need the check, thank you. I waited tables for several years to get through college, that was 15 years ago. I haven’t left less than a 20% tip since that time. Even for mediocrity I would tip 20%. It’s not easy work I always told myself. Well that streak ended tonight. We were just flat out disrespected. It could only have been worse if they spit in my food in front of me. Suffice it to say, not going back. Ever. Zero stars should be an option.

My husband and I ordered a large pepperoni/mushroom pizza plus stuffed mushrooms. I would give this place a 2.5 if that was an option. The mushrooms were not canned was the only real positive. The crust was bland and slightly burned so that permeated the entire pizza. The caliber of the pepperoni, very cheap. The mushrooms were stuffed with an unknown substance and were drowning in a pink opaque abyss which lacked any sort of seasoning. I put a review so I can remind myself not return, too many places to try.

I tried this relatively new Italian restaurant in my area. The wait staff was prompted & knew the menu; but they didn’t seem to have personal experience actually tasting the dishes. Call me crazy, but if the staff can’t tell you what’s good, then we have problems. I had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, Hearty Tuscan tomato basil soup, Tortellini modo mio with chicken, & completed by Tiramisu. The stuffed mushrooms were so tasty. The mushrooms were filled with crab meat topped with an Alfredo/marinara sauce. Light on the crab meat, though. It was more filler… bread crumbs or ricotta? I’m not sure. The hearty Tuscan tomato basil soup was horrible. It was watery & you could hardly taste the tomato or basil flavors. The was nothing hearty about it. The Tortellini Modo Mio w/chicken was unsalted, but could have had great flavor if properly seasoned. The tortellini was filled with cheese & sautéed with chicken, basil, tomatoes, spinach, garlic in a white wine sauce. The dishes would look better in different smaller dishes. Visually, patrons will feel portions are plentiful instead of small. Tiramisu was amazing! I loved it. It was creamy & the bottom layer was nicely soaked in espresso. Overall it was mediocre. I’ll pop in again to try the pizza. Maybe that their strong suit? c

First time customer. Wanted to check it out because it was getting 4 ½ stars out of all the reviews so had to try it out. When coworker and I first walked in a sewage type smell hit us and stayed with us the whole time. The smell was pretty bad. Lunch prices are very reasonable. I had the Calzone with the soup of the day(Italian wedding soup). First time having it and I liked it. Coworker order the spaghetti and a salad. Bread was good but received no dipping oil. Overall the food was good for the price. Too bad they don’t have a lunch special for pizza. Right after we got there it got very busy and you could tell the only waiter who also ran the register was getting in the weeds. He never brought us our extra bread, never checked to see if we needed water and passed us up 3 times without giving us our check. Had to walk up to counter to get his attention in order to check out. He apologized for the wait but as soon as we cashed out he awkwardly walked away without saying«Have a good day, thanks and come again». Will probably go again so I can try a pasta dish. If the smell is bad again, I won’t be back.

Had pizza and Greek salad. Both were excellent. Have been coming here for awhile, and the food has been great. The service seems to have slid a little in the past year, when it comes to servers, and their attitudes, but The food is so good, I can overlook it.

So glad I was finally able to stop in and grab lunch. Huge portions and what a bargain! Lunch for two /entrée with choice of soup or salad $ 5.95 a piece with bread sticks and delicious dipping sauce. Will definitely return. Service was great as well. I had the lasagna bubbling with cheese. My parental figure had the spaghetti with meatballs and didn’t say a word during our dining experience. THAT’S A FIRST !!! Just slurping up all that delicious sauce. Will definitely return. Great prices on beer as well.

Best pizza in League City!!! Their menu is really good, they have all the original italian recepies and the marinada sauce is original too! We found this restaurant after searching on Unilocal for good pizza, my husband and I have been blessed to be able to travel overseas and have an eye for good food, and Luigi’s seams to be the italian place to go in League City! Although the restaurant seams simple and hard to find for some, their food is absolutely worth it! My husband has tried the Calzone and Stromboli and says they are both awesome! I’ve had the Margarita Pizza and it is soooooo good!!! Apetizers are great too! Definitely perfect! Also, the lunch menu which is the size of the dinner menu, has a great value and it is served on Saturdays too! Jacob has been our waiter every time we’ve gone and he is awesome! Great attitute and always smiling! He remembers us every time and he pays attention to his tables so no one is missing anything! They are lucky to have him! :) My only negative comments(note it doesn’t take away stars from my review– this is just personal preference) are that apparently they don’t open on sundays, and I don’t agree with all the extra $$ they are charginf for little stuff like olive oil with herbs. I think they should allow some extras with no charge since they are just starting and this may not seam ok to some new customers… The garlic bread, at least a little bit should be free. So to resume, this place is great and their food is soooooo worth it! Everyone around should try it!

We were jonesing for pizza this past weekend and were nowhere near our favorite neighborhood joint. Thankfully, we found Luigi’s. The place is bigger than it appears on the outside(it’s in a small strip mall), with comfortable booths and tables. It’s cozy but airy with kitschy ‘Italian’ posters on the walls and corny ‘Italian’ themed music(mostly covers) being piped through the sound system. But none of that mattered when we got our food from the polite server. Everyone was hungry like a hostage when we arrived in the early mid-afternoon and we ended up ordering appetizers along with our pizza. The crab-stuffed mushrooms, though tasting OK, had a lot more bread than crab in the stuffing. The sauce, a mixture of marinara and Alfredo, was a nice touch. Still, I wouldn’t order this appetizer again. — The calamari was fine … served as it usually is in Italian restaurants — with lemon and marinara. Speaking of the marinara, I thought it was overly sweet although everyone else in the family said it was fine. The pizza is the real reason to come here. I almost feel guilty for admitting this publicly, but Luigi’s crust is some of the best I’ve had. Ever. It’s crisp-chewy, just like the serve in the NY/NJ area. Except Luigi’s crust is even better than what is turned out at many of those places. The cheese is quality stuff and strings nicely. The pepperoni, albeit good, is a little on the greasy side(even for pepperoni). Still, I gobbled this stuff down even after I was full. Yes, the pizza at Luigi’s is that good. Next time I come here(and there will be a next time) I’m going to forego the appetizers and head straight for the pizza.

Luigi’s is very good I must say. I have tried three different types of pizza and they all we’re absolutely tasty also, the crust is thin and yummy. I have ate in and called to pick up/To go and the staff has been very friendly. Last visit Josh was our waiter & he was a wonderful server. They have a nice selection of wine and beer to choose from. It’s a medium size restaurant not too small just perfect for a nice outing. All the seating is new, nice and very clean.

Luigi’s opened up in the same location that Nick’s used to occupy, but the pizza is way better! They have a wide variety of pizza & pasta dishes, but we were just here for the pizza! Upon walking in, the décor is way better than Nick’s was, with new tables, chairs, paint & kitchen setup! They bring you garlic knots to munch on while you wait, so that was nice! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with mushrooms & extra cheese. The crust was light & airy, and super tasty & fresh! The toppings were good, too, but I would have preferred more mushrooms. No biggie, we’ll get them on our next visit! They do have beer and wine, as well as a selection of desserts, so if you want to binge on booze and sweets, they have you covered!
