McDonald’s

Stopped by on the way back from my daughter’s cheer competition as she was very hungry and wanted a kids meal. The young person serving me was very robotish. I ordered what she wanted since she orders the same kids meal every time. I wanted to get something that I can stick in the cup holder in my car and eat on the way without being messy. These darn new digital signs change at the exact moment when you try to order something. I jokingly pointed out to the cashier and he looked at me like «What? you don’t know what you can get at McDonald’s?». I actually wanted something like chicken fries from Burger King, but was looking for something similar at YuckDonalds. Anyway, the cashier was of no help to me. When I went to pay, I tried inserting my credit card (which has a chip) at the bottom of the terminal (most merchants want me to insert the credit card at the bottom for reading the chip). Instead of telling me they are years behind in technology and swipe the card the old fashioned way, he repeatedly pokes his finger at the place where you swipe your credit card, as if saying «you don’t know how to use a credit card?».
