Riverview Restaurant

My family and I ate here last night.
We had the «huge burger». Great choice, fed us all (2adults and 3 kids)
Staff is very attentive, and friendly.
View of the lake is amazing.
Prices are not bad at all.
Definitely recommend it :)

⁴⁄₁₅ about 3:30 pm. Hair in my food & Eduardo, the waiter, argued first, that it wasn’t hair (as its hanging off my fork), second, that it must be cheese (no cheese in my order of chicken fried steak & eggs). Really Eduardo, I’m showing you the hair, I haven’t taken a bite (thank goodness), and I’m bald, so it wasn’t mine. Be a good employee and don’t argue with the customer. Now, I’ve got to go to the Aquarius & find some food before my insulin kicks in. If I could give negative stars, I would. Will never eat here again.

Had I eaten here alone my rating would have been one star. My wife said her steak was great so I’m averaging. I ordered the grilled salmon. I had to use a knife to cut it. It takes a special talent to cook a salmon filet until it’s tough. Service was below average, probably because it was quite busy.

Wow this restaurant amazes me. My third time here on my stay here the first was a Togo and was fine, the second time I sat down for breakfast by myself and didn’t get service other then a guy who got other tables drinks got me a drink after noticing I haven’t even helped after that I sat around for 10 mins with still no service but all the other tables around me have been helped, I felt it was because I was a younger male rather then the normal crowd of seniors and I felt very discriminated against based on my age, so I get up and ask to speak to the manager who tells me oh that’s not the reason and it practically made her cringe to say sorry. Now I try and give them a second chance the next morning and go for breakfast and sit down and wait for a little bit nothing to crazy but an older couple sits down atleast 4 minutes after me and gets service before I do. Finally after that a server comes up to me asking if I’ve been helped. Again this just goes to prove atleast in my mind that it has to do with my age. The food is good and my server this trip has atleast been nice so that’s why they get a second star but I’m very disappointed.

Horrible horrible non existent service. There menu looked great and would have liked to have tried something on it but no one came over to us to take our order so we left.

This is just a good place to eat there the lasagna was better than most Italian restaurant breakfast is good there gravy doesn’t taste like flour

Wife and I went for St. Patrick’s day. We both agreed it was the best corned beef and cabbage dinner we ever had. We have Eaten here at least 25 times. 5 were 5 star excellent. 15 times just barely average and 5 times was so bad u wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Usually the best has been late night. After 10 pm. When they are on, the food and prices are tops!

Avoid the Texas Hold ‘em burger! A few hours later… you can’t hold nothing!

We went just for the ham steak, which was very good. Everything else was less to be desired.
Eggs were supposed to be over medium, they came out done on one side, the other side runny.
The hashbrowns, it would be nice to have a little more.
The wheat toast was covered with butter, I needed more toast with that much butter.
My brothers wife got runny scambled eggs, she asked for them to be welldone the first time, but the second time she got very well done eggs, almost burnt. The waitress had some stupid excuse.
The hostess could say please and thank you, and not be so rude, I know the laughin river run might put people in a bad mood, but we are not all the same.

I think if a negative star for food quality was available I’d use it. Worst Fried Chicken I’ve ever attempted to eat. The food was being carted in I assume from one of the other restaurants in the building. Slow slow service and the wait staff was infuriated with the quality of the food also. Many guests around refused to pay. I paid and tipped but wow how is this place still open.

Never been inside the Riverside Resort in Laughlin. In desperate need of some renovations and making it a bit brighter. SO dark and smokey. Anyhow, we stopped here for breakfast. This review is on the café inside called the Riverview. Looked promising since it had a great view of the river, but quickly went down hill. Sat down and took 5 min for a drink order to come, and after about 15 more mins, with no one taking our order, we finally flagged down the mgr. Another 5 min later, the waitress finally came around. Mind you, the patron behind us left because of lack of service. She quickly took our order not apologizing the entire time. Looked around and many of the other tables were having the same service issues.
Food came fairly quickly. Waitress said «Are you happy now?». Food nothing great. Toast came out black! Waitress even said, «oh that looks like crap!» Overall, not very professional and the service in general was unorganized. Not recommended.

While visiting Laughlin last week this was our first meal out day one. The food was decent, nothing to get horribly excited about but it was decent. Service was poor, to say the least. Staff were rude and not ready nor willing to deal with a large Saturday morning crowd. That was a huge turn off. Otherwise, not much to complain about. Place was clean and tidy overall.

This review is specifically for the Walleye Pike.
I’ve eaten here before and it was alright but this last time it was horrible! I never had walleye pike and was excited to but there has to be a better way to prepare it. I don’t know how the snowbirds eat it if not. Flavorless mush with bones in it is the only way I can describe it. Was nothing close to the grilled piece of fish in the picture.
Disgusting! I’ll never eat it there again.

A Garden Dinner Salad was topped by a very good French Dressing. No Bean Chili tasted good but, according to our server, came out of a can. A Shrimp Cocktail was chock-​full of plump shrimps and zesty Cocktail Sauce. And Choice grade Chopped Steak with rich Brown Mushroom Gravy and Mashed Potatoes was very good. But the meat was prepared medium rather than medium rare as ordered, and accompanying steamed vegetables were overcooked and thereby stripped of flavor.
Because my Bay Shrimp Cocktail was initially forgotten, I had to play catch up as the remaining ordered food arrived in two quick successive waves, reducing relaxed enjoyment of my dinner, and causing me to rush through the meal lest the Chili and Chopped Steak grew cold before I got to those items. This was the second time in a row that a Bay Shrimp Cocktail appetizer arrived at the table late and out of course order.
Again, 3−½ stars overall!

So this place started like it was going to be a 1-​Star type of review. The older waitress actually walked away while I was asking her a question about the 24 hour specials.
They have a 3 oversized page double sided menu and on a small note about the size of a Post It note, they have 2 — 24 hour specials. But right next to it they have a few specials for Mon — Thur. Just to make sure I could get the 24 hour specials I had to ask three of the people filling up our drinks (which I must say they did a great job). All of them said the 24 hour special was only M — T but they weren’t sure.
When our waitress finally came back she stood behind the two people across from my wife and I and gave us this look like «come on, order». She even did that thing where you round your arms, open your palms like Grandma use to do. I think the look on my face and the comment of «rough night?» must have been enough because everything changed. By the end of the night she was actually cracking little jokes.
The food was very very good. All the bust boys were wrong, the 24 hour special are always available and they are very good. I got the bacon and had about 4 or 5 pieces. My Dad got three sausage patties and they were awesome. Thankfully he couldn’t eat all three. My wife shared a Monte Christo with her bestie and it was amazing. Their strawberry jam was to die for (yes I tasted that too). Don’t judge!
So they made a huge recovery. The waitress even came over and asked where we were from. While they only have a few selections on the cheap, the regular menu is very reasonable.

First of all the dinner salad that my cousin ordered was half a salad with no croutons and no cucumbers second of all the bacon I got added to my burger was pure white fat and third of all our server told us we could split our bill at the front which was for a large party and when we got to the front they told us they couldn’t do that anymore so we spent 10 minutes trying to split our own bill!!! Horrible experience!

So went Riverview Restaurant inside Don Laughlins Riverside Resort to try The BIG BURGER! While waiting the customer service was amazing. All over the casino everyone is extra nice. So we get The Big Burger and its delicious. Took 4 people to eat it. 2 adults and two kids. They it with fries that were really good. One thing is when you cook a burger that big they meat tends to taste like meatloaf. Which I love meatloaf but not when I want a hambuger. The Burger tasted like a Hamburger every single bite. A must try!!! I think our bill came to $ 14 for all 4 of us. Cheap quality eats. We will be stopping by when you are back in laughlin.

What makes this place great is two things, the beautiful river view and that its 24 hours. The food is decent. We always eat here at least once when we stay anywhere in Laughlin. During our last stay I ordered the steak sandwich and subbed french Fry’s for a baked potato. it was about $ 12 and it was amazing! My husband ordered a burger and he was happy with his as well. we didn’t spend much money. we enjoyed the view and got to play keno while we waited for our food, so we cant complain. The people who work there are a little weird though. Our server looked like a 1980’s porn star and spoke very creepy. but hey who are we to judge his life. it made me laugh and added to the experience. We will return. Just do not come here if you are expecting something fancy. you will be disappointed for sure!

This is the 24 hour restaurant at the Riverside Hotel and Casino. They seem to have remodeled/​redecorated the entire hotel, and the restaurant is no exception. The new décor is nice.
The hostess was very friendly and we were seated immediately, although the restaurant seemed pretty busy for 12:30am!
We weren’t super hungry and noticed the late night specials at the bottom of the menu. My Mom had 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, hashbrowns and toast for $ 4.50 (including a drink!). I had country fried steak with hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy for $ 4.50 (wish it came with eggs, but oh well). That also included a drink. Can’t beat those prices!
Our food was served pretty quickly. The servers roll everything out on a cart, which is pretty decent for a little craphole 24 hour joint! My Mom said her bacon was very crispy, as she had asked. My country fried steak was more flavorful than I expected, and also very tender. The biscuits were a little dry, but the gravy was good.
We got out of there in less than an hour (probably closer to 30 minutes), and only spent $ 9.73. Pretty much a successful late night meal!

Stopped there for lunch today during the river run. Very busy and a relatively long wait because of all the bikers meandering all over town this week. I was pretty hungry, so when I saw the «Large Burger» on the menu, I thought hey, why not. Thinking it was merely a bigger than average burger.
Well, the waitress brought it to my table… it was as big as the plate! Not some little plate either, a full sized plate. Needless to say, I didn’t finish it. It wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had, but it really wasn’t too bad! It was better after extra mustard and ketchup.
Any single burger that can feed a family of 4 for $ 10 ($ 11 with cheese) will automatically get a thumbs-​up in my book!
