This location is very convenient. Located right off the highway, and an easy drive into El Paso. Have stayed here a couple of times. They’re currently undergoing a renovation of the common areas(looks quite nice so far!), but there’s been no noise that I’ve noticed during evening hours. As far as breakfast and accommodations go, it’s pretty standard of the Choice Hotels: pretty good breakfast munches with lots of choices, comfy beds, good sized and updated rooms. My first stay everything was spotless. This time, I’d call it mostly clean. There were previous guests’ water bottles on the desk(not really a big deal to me, in terms of what can be dirty in a hotel room), and the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned(that’s yucky, I think). It seems more that housekeeping was in a hurry than anything else. Word to the wise: the wifi here is awful, despite the three Comfort Inn networks to choose from. I can’t even get a webpage to load, much less try to stream a TV show saved on my DVR. Overall, a decent place to catch some zzzzs in the Las Cruces area. Will most likely stay again.

We had a late check in and the guy who was working the overnight shift was really nice and friendly. While checking in, he showed us some really nice places to visit around the area. The breakfast selection was really wide and tasteful. They would have received a 5 star review, if the indoor pool and spa was working.

We stayed in a king suite. Very large suite with separate living area and bedroom. Very clean and we’ll maintained. 2 tvs, coffee machine and all the comforts of home. Close to interstate and several restaurants. Nice staff and good breakfast in the morning. We would stay here again. Prices are very reasonable.

This COULD be a great deal, the exact same hotel in Deming I give five stars. When I check in they failed to inform me that their boilers were being fixed and they didn’t have any hot water or even any cold water pressure in the showers, and it wasn’t restored while I was there. I tried to get a refund or a comp stay, but the manager wouldn’t take my call or call me back after repeated attempts. That said, it was probably an isolated incident, but also the indoor pool wasn’t heated, the Sauna was permanently out of order, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and there was a massive dripping leak in the ceiling of the hallway outside my room, and there wasn’t even a bucket under it, just soaked the carpet all night. The mini-fridge was so loud you had to unplug it to watch TV, and the TV was a small old tube style with fuzzy picture. The GOOD: This is the closest hotel to Old Mesilla and is a nice walk on wide sidewalks. There is a great restaurant behind the hotel called Q’s Steakhouse. The infrastructure is there for a good hotel, but it reeks of a cheap owner.

Beds are super firm, but at $ 54/night(w/AAA membership), it wasn’t unbearable. I was very impressed with just how far $ 54 went in Las Cruces. I wasn’t expecting the Omni, but I wasn’t expecting a newer facility with free breakfast(6a — 9a) and free parking. Breakfast consisted of waffles, microwaved eggs, microwaved sausage, and an english muffin. There is orange and apple juice available along with two types of milk. There are a few cereal options and fruit to pair with it. It’s pretty basic stuff, but still gravy when you consider the cost of the room. The AC gets super cold if you let it, so make sure you keep it on auto. There are enough channels to sift through if you’re interested, but I was only up for an hour before I passed out. All rooms come equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave. So if you brought some homecooked meals for the roadtrip, then heat it up! Jewel of the desert…

I have stayed at quite a few hotels. Many, even expensive ones I have found to be both poor in service an cleanliness. I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. I am staying here for two weeks while teaching a class at NMSU. This place is great for a mid level hotel. I find all hotels to be very similar, what makes the difference for me is the friendliness of the staff, convenience, and cleanliness. So, while the building is not 5 star worthy, these other factors made it a 5 star stay for me. Especially the staff. Super nice. friendly and helpful young ladies. The free breakfast is totally doable, eggs sausage etc. I have to believe its as good as free breakfast gets. Free no-hassle internet or password etc. No credit card required for check-in if your room has already been paid for. One exit, north on I25 about3 min, away is walmart, target, grocery store, applebees, chilis, etc. No pretence. I love this type of hotel.

Driving from California to Texas, this was the first halfway point for me to stop and rest for the night. Knowing how dark it would be out on the desolate highway, I didn’t want to take a risk. I’ve heard that Las Cruces was lively than most cities I passed up along the way and plus my Dad has stayed at this hotel before on business so I would say my choice to stay here was a good one. I had actually made reservations while on the road and booked a room in a matter of five minutes. The person who assisted me was very cordial and nice over the phone. Upon arriving at the actual location around 9PM, I found it to be conveniently close to the freeway and an Applebees. After checking in, I took the elevator up to the second floor and settled into my room. It had a decent Queen sized bed and a big space on the side with a couch and desk. The rooms all have a fridge, coffee maker, and closet. The bathroom was a bit small, but that didn’t bug me so much since I was only staying for a night. The sink countertop was granite, but there was one essential thing missing on that counter like a bar of soap. Luckily I had an extra Dove soap bar that I unwrapped and preserved in its own case. The bathroom sink was also outside of the actual room where you shower and use the toilet. There is also a free continental breakfast from 7−9AM. You can make your own waffles, grab some scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, nature’s own granola bars, fruits, and oatmeal. Not too bad for this place. Also, if you are a AAA member, you can receive a discount for your stay. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay overnight if you are traveling by car. It’s decent, reasonable and clean.
