Applebee’s

One of my favorite stops. The food is typical Applebee’s but the crowd around the bar is always full of the local funlovers. Usually entertaining. Good happy hour specials. Convenient to hotels.

The food is decent. But the past three times I have gone, I have gotten horrible services. They waitstaff is rude, and offer lousy service. I don’t know how they still have jobs there.

The waitress seems very rude and attitude like that gets you no tips just saying #sorrynotsorry

Typical Applebee’s…nothing special other than the fact that they were the only place open when we pulled into town. Food was okay, but service was great!

If you are going to this location, there is an 90% chance that you are dying from hunger after driving for hours through the ass-​end of nowhere.
We arrived here after we decided it was the only non-​fast food restaurant open at 8:30pm in this town. right away and were told «Adam» would be our waiter. He took our drink order and asked if we were ready to order seconds after we slid into our seats. We said we needed another minute and then proceeded to wait over 15 minutes while we watched Adam carry out other people’s food, do several trips to the table behind us, and shamelessly flirt with the 21 year old hostess, all while never once glancing over at our closed menus, piercing stares and hand waving. I even got the attention of an old man at the bar who noticed that Adam was not as helpful as he could be.
So long story short, we don’t know how the food is at Applebee’s in Las Cruces. We ended up at the McDonalds drive thru next door. But I’m guessing that since it’s corporate food, you know what you’re getting. There were a lot of folks in there who look like they «eat well» so I’m sure you’re in good hands so long as you’re ordering from one of the non-​dopey staff.

The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. The quality is the same as every other Applebees’.

Server wasn’t aware of how many of the entrée options worked (two for twenty). Food sub-​par, even for this chain. Poor ratings all around. Both the host and the server were unpleasant. I’ve had better customer service at the abortion clinic.

While the food is the same as any Applebee’s…the service at this one is excellent. It was a short 100 yard walk from our hotel and we were greeted at the door. If you stay at the Marriott, do yourself a favor and cross the parking lot to this Applebee’s.

My husband and I were on a long trip and stopped here for dinner. We had a coupon for Mozzarella sticks from another location, which they would not take. I understand that each franchise works a little differently but this is the ONLY location we have visited that did not honor ANY kind of military discount. I contacted Applebee’s to express my concern over this and was contacted by the Area Director who said they had moved away from it because it was abused. I find it highly unfortunate that they would punish those who have served this country because of the irresponsibility of others. We will not be visiting ANY of the locations in Las Cruces or El Paso on future trips through.

Love the onion soup and the lunch salads. Of course, you can’t go to Applebee’s (ok, I can’t) without having a perfect margarita!

Getting it to go! I had chicken fingers. Chris had ribs. Both of our meals were good!

Applebee’s was one of our favorite restaurants about 11 years ago back in West Virginia in a location that had only a few non chain type restaurants. My favorite was the steak which seemed to be always cooked properly and was tender. I think that their ability to keep up the quality of their restaurants nationwide is to be commended. Their food is not necessarily the best but it is good. Since we like some other chain types better, we have not gone to the Applebee’s very often in this area. We tend to support local non chain restaurants much more often.

People are giving 4 and 5 star ratings to Applebees? Really? Do you people work for them or something? Paid to shill for them?
Here’s the story… went to Applebees and ordered a chicken fried steak. Got a processed pre-​breaded meat patty. It was disgusting. The service was terrible also. 1 star, and they don’t even deserve that.

Curbside to go was a great and speedy option. Food was great.

The food was as good as it could get a applebee’s but I was excited that they have updated their 2 for $ 20 specials.

Great wantons, but the waiter didn’t seem properly trained. He wasn’t able to tell me what kind of salad dressings were available nor did he know which items on the menu would be appropriate for someone with a lactose allergy. I am sure that with time this guy will be better; however, with proper training this could have been a five star experience.

Restaurant is around all the hotels in the area, so you get a lot of road warriors stopping in at the bar after a long day of driving. Applebees always has good drink specials and decent food. Only issue was the bartender lacked friendliness and took forever to refill drinks. Other than that, its Applebees, you know what youre going to get.

Pretty good for this chain. A little pricey. Service was better than what we usually encounter for Applebee. Usually avoid this chain cuz of poor service but this one ok.

Food was good. Weekday lunch was not super busy. Our server was great and timely on our needs.

The service was great. The young lady treated all the kids with me great. It was my husband, myself and my two teenage niece’s and my 8 and 3 year old nephews. She knew exactly how to make sure they were having a good time. The food was pretty good and it didn’t take too long to receive.
