Great filling food for a vegetarian. I have liked everything so far but especially the vegetarian cabbage rolls, cauliflower soup, vegetarian libber is awesome and I love their baklava…

Had it delivered(through delivery service) My 2 daughters(11,12) and myself loved the chicken kabobs, rice and Taboolee(youngest got the fries instead of salad) They included 5 sandwich bags of pita bread, 2 half pints of hummus. very generous. Bottom line… Chicken was delicious, rice was perfect. Everyone was full and happy!

This is my favorite place to go for lunch. Don’t expect it to be super fast, however, if you’re on a time constraint. It’s usually just one waitress so she gets pretty slammed some days. They have delicious hummus and I like their sandwiches as well as the green bean stew. The only issue I’ve ever had is minor to me but multiple times I’ve had a hair in the food. It really doesn’t bother me but I know some people are quite off-put by that.

Very Very Bad experience! A falafel they served obviously went bad and tasted stinky! Don’t trust them!

It’s your classic in-a-strip-mall Middle Eastern Restaurant. What it lacks in ambiance? It more than makes up for in taste. I ordered the Chicken Meshwi which was served with hummus and salad(I picked the yogurt salad. The hummus was the smoothest I have ever eaten. The yogurt salad was brimming with cucumbers. The chicken Meshwi is great! Lots of nice vegetables, tender chicken, and rice. The service was great too. The waitress offered a free dessert b/c she was sure I would love it. MUCH better than Zaytoon!

Best middle eastern food I have had in a very long time! I love this place. I’ve been here several times now and I am addicted to the delicious baba ganoush. Everything is clearly fresh and you can absolutely taste it. The owner came and talked to us, and he was super nice as was our waitress. Great food, great people! I am and will be a regular as long as I live here. :)

I ate here for the first time today, and it was the best Middle Eastern food I have ever had. My friend and I ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was delicious. The Haswhi was unbelievable. I will be back!

There is always so much delicious food on your table during a meal here! And the hummus is so good you’ll finish off the portion so quickly! I love the baba ganoush — I find myself dipping everything else I order in this! The cucumber salad with tomatoes is so fresh. I could eat all of their grape leaves for days! My old stand by is the chicken shawarma and it never disappoints! Sadly I’ve never made it to dessert here because I fill up on everything else! The leftovers hear up really nicely!

My family went here on a whim after a school event when we didn’t feel like cooking. I have a feeling it will become our new go-to for such occasions. Nothing fancy, but inexpensive, tasty, and potentially healthful, depending on your order. It’s been a few weeks, but I remember enjoying the tabouli, hummus, and chicken. An exceptionally good value. We’ll be back!

The food is quite good, but unfortunately the last experience we had was so poor, that I won’t be returning. There are a number of great middle eastern restaurants in the Lansing area, that have much better service. We went there with a party of ten people(two families) and told them that we we would be putting the orders on two checks. The waiter took the orders separately. The first group got their orders pretty quickly, but the rest of the orders didn’t arrive until almost 20 minutes later. My son’s order didn’t come out with second batch, and he wasn’t served his food untl 15 minutes later. By that time, everyone else had long since finished their meals. I went to pay the check and noticed they overcharged us by $ 15. When I pointed out the mistake, the waiter(possibly owner?) insisted it was correct, and wouldn’t charge us the correct amount, even when I showed him on my phone’s calculator.

Best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had, and there certainly are quite a few to choose from in this area. At first I wasn’t a big fan of the décor, but it grows on you after a while. The menu choices are diverse and very cost-effective! Their hummus is delicious, especially when mixed with tabbouli. You can get a big tub for about $ 7. Their sandwiches run around $ 5 and are very filling(great for lunch or dinner).

Okay, so after only having had their take-out, my family and I dined in for the first time yesterday. I have to say that the food was much more delicious with this experience and the chicken wasn’t as dry as I’ve previously had it. My husband got the Chicken Hashwi and really liked it. There were a lot of delicious fried vegetables mixed with his chicken over rice. The fattoush salad is very flavorful, and I really like the seasoning on their grilled chicken breast. In the future I will probably avoid getting takeout and will dine in.

Nope. Went here with four people. We all got something different and nothing was good. I got cracked bulgar wheat, meat kibbi and stuffed grape leave. Everything was SO dry that I asked for some labni and tahini. When the waitress went back to the kitchen the cook asked what the labni was for. When she said that I had asked for it he groaned and told the waitress to put the labni on my face. The place was totally empty and the cooks obviously didn’t know that what they were saying could be heard in the dining room. The hummus was okay. Not hard to make good hummus. The pita was stale, all of our food had clearly been microwaved and was extremely dry and mushy. Super disappointing.

I absolutely love this place. The décor is a bit boring and the furniture is a bit uncomfortable. The temperature is on the cool side as well but the service and food more than makes up for it. Every time I go in there, the owner and his employees are very friendly and engage in conversation. A few summers ago when the temp was over 100, we went into the restaurant and ordered food along with water. The owner insisted we also have some sweet tea to help cool us down due to the high temps outside. Normally I go to Aladdin’s Express downtown and I tend to get the same dish every time, chicken schwarma salad, but Aladdin’s doesn’t necessarily have the same items on their menu. The guy at the desk said they would still make it for me. I picked the kind of salad I wanted(Lebanese), they added boneless baked chicken, hummus, and garlic sauce. It was heaven and even better than what I get downtown! I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it!!!

This place was pretty decent. Not my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the area. I had their falafel. It was just OK. Wasn’t anything great. Wish they had fresh, homemade pitas. 3.5 stars

The service was so so, but we were taken care of. When your garlic sauce is that delicious you should check ten times for refills! Haha. Everytime that I order shawarma from new locations, it’s different so I never know what to expect. The food was very good, although the chicken was a bit dry. I ordered two dinners and I left with a box for the both of us because the food servings were very generous! I just stopped on my way home from Mt. Pleasant after searching for shawarma on Unilocal. Not too familiar with the area or comparable places but I would return. They play middle eastern music. I also feel the need to mention My appreciation for staff honesty, my boyfriend left his iPhone and they held onto it until we came back.

All the food here is very good and the menu offers lots options(non-meat as well). The meat grape leaves(and non-meat grapes leaves) are really good, ias well as the tabouli, fatoush, hummus, gryos, meat and potatoe stew, falafel, kibbe, etc. It’s all great. The service has been efficient and friendly consistently that last 10 times I have been here over the last year. Many folks get take out verses eating in. Only draw backs for me is that you can’t get a beer(no alcohol) with your meal. This place is not fancy, very casual and I have never had to wait to get seated for dinner. The crowd is diverse — students, shoppers, professionals, young and older clientele as well as many different ethnicities — all enjoying the food the same food! Will definitly be enjoying New Aladdin’s again soon.

My favorite mediterranean restaurant in Lansing. I really like coming to this restaurant the wait staff is extremely friendly and pretty quick about getting your food out at lunchtime. One of my favorite dishes is the chicken breast salad. I’m not exactly sure how they get the chicken breast so juicy. Just trust me you will love this salad. Best tabouli and hummus hands-down. The burgol is good but just a little to dry for me. I love that they have raw juices.
