This store is tucked away on the South side of Frandor shopping center. The selection is mediocre. They have a variety of board games, some comics, graphic novels, some models and supplies(paints, files, other tools), and a fairly good selection of RC parts. They didn’t have any miniatures or paints along the miniature lines(GW, Citadel, etc). They did not seem to have any airbrush selection at all. Their stock isn’t well maintained, as many places where there would be an item on the shelf was empty. The problem that I’ve had with this particular hobby shop is that every time I have gone into the shop, I have been ignored. Even when I was the only person in the shop, and stood at the counter, the guy behind the counter ignored me and talked on the phone… on and on and on… Shops in the Lansing area tend to be cliquish, and if you’re not an insider, it can be a challenge to break into meaningful interaction — but not even a customer acknowledgement? I’ll take my money elsewhere! Too bad for the small shops — I’d love to support this hard to find niche, but modern standards of decency suggest that old models must adapt, or move on.
