I love this place. Very big and open, the décor is cool looking. I love the cheesesteaks! Prices are fair for the portions. Have never waited an unreasonable amount of time and have been here several. Do not listen to the F&M kids on here, please. I deal with them every day of my life in the service industry and if their stuff was messed up it was 99% likely that they were being the idiot.

Meh. Meh is the proper adjective. Waited kind of a long time(even though no one else was there). Sub was mediocre — couldn’t get the milkshake we wanted… Yeah. Not much other than meh.

Been coming here for years. Yah, its revamped and in a nice way. The menu board is on the wall behind the woman that takes your orders. Food is good and dependable, portions are sized right. Cooked to order. Good stuff, whether salads or sandwiches. Great place to grab a bite whether by your lonesome, with family, or a table full of friends.

Great place to grab lunch. Sandwich selection is huge. At least 20 – 30 diff sandwiches. Also some delicious looking salads. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Your typical NY/Philly sandwich shop but with larger selection and salads and burgers too. My wife and I had cheesesteaks and fries. I had the«Stock Exchange». It’s ribeye chopped steak with grilled onions, roasted red peppers, mayo, and sharp provolone. The peppers and sharp cheese made it very delicious. Steak was good quality too. Bread was decent, I’ve had better. The fries are hot and tasted like they’re fresh cut from real potatoes. The best part is you can add a «handful of fries» to any sandwich for $ 0.99, and it’s plenty of fries! Good seating and fairly clean inside. I plan to return. Close to the college(F & M) for students looking for a quick lunch in between classes.

The sign says«legendary cheesesteaks,» and while the sandwiches were good, combined with our experience there, the whole thing was mediocre. The place was clean and looked nice inside but there wasn’t a lot of seating. After you place your order, you hAve to wait for them to call, not your name, but the name of your sandwich. So if they call the name of a sandwich that two different customers ordered, you better pay attention if your sandwich is next or the other customer may grab it without realizing, leaving you without a sandwich while the rest of your lunch group eats theirs. That’s what happened to us. We ordered the Buffalo(very good), the Madison Square Garden(very good), the Panyunk(so so), and the fried mushroom appetizer special(DELICIOUS!!). The employees did have some kind of attitude as mentioned by others and were not very helpful with our sandwich mix up, although they did whip another sandwich replacement pronto. All in all, if you don’t care about being cared about and just want a chance to choose from about 40 different types of sandwiches(mostly cheesesteaks and burgers, but also salads, soups, and deli sandwiches), this could be your choice!

Was in Lancaster for the afternoon and the Campus Delis(Grille?) was suggested. The food was awesome and I would go out of my way to go there again but the experience left a bit to be desired. When I asked what they were known for, the girl said their cheese steaks. I understood that walking in, but they have a list as long as your arm of the types of cheese steaks they make. She stumbled through a recommendation and I ordered. The food came out fast and hot. They have locally made sodas available. So the sell is where they need some work, but again, I would go out of my way to eat there again.

When the urge to eat an Italian sub overwhelming me I turned to the internet for recommendations on who had the best subs in my area. I have my favorite haunts but was in the mood(and curious) to see what else was out there. Campus Grill was the recommendation, and convenient as I was nearby on Prince Str. Upon entry I must say I was confused… the counter was w — a — y across the restaurant. No large menu was listed, instead a scattering of menu brochures were on the counter. An inexperienced and shy(and probably too young to be working) young lady was running the counter. Although she was nice(and clearly there because she was a relative) she didn’t seem to have a clue what to do or have any knowledge of the food and menu. With that being said there is a lot of choices, almost to the point of being overwhelming. We placed our order and sat down. Immediately upon entry and even more so after being seated did we notice the vast openness of the place. Tables are spaced very far apart and several more could be easily added. The space felt expansive and cold, not warm and inviting. A better layout could do wonders for this place. I also felt it needed a good scrubbing. Not to the point that is was filthy, just neglected. Our table was dirty with ketchup that had not been wiped down, the floors were in need of a sweep and mop job, and the soda station area could be wiped down. Our food was good, and for a small my sub was nice size. Not the best but certainly not the worst. I prefer my lettuce to be shredded more finely but this was in big strips and the vingarette was balsamic vinegar based which is also not my preference but everything appears fresh. Overall not the worst but certainly not the best.

I don’t know what happened to this place. They used to have the best cheesesteaks around and now they can barely make edible food. I got a cheesesteak with wiz and onion. It was absolutely disgusting. The«ribeye» they used was inedible, there was substantially more fat than meat. If that wasn’t enough most of the fries were green which means they’ve best sitting out for a very long time. This place went downhill fast and I will not be going back.

Really good sandwiches but the fries are the star!!! Offspring had the gyro sub. Good meat, good sauce(can’t spell tziki). Spouse and I had the flagship sandwich, Manhattan. Expensive but huge and packed w high quality Italian meats. Owner mentioned old menu is coming back. Never experienced it, but will. Worth a repeat!

Use to be good but now it sucks. They got rid of most of the interesting sandwich options. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and instantly regretted it. It was dry, and 80% cartilage. Lastly, the fries are very hit or miss(usually miss). They’re almost always soggy and either over or under-salted.

Campus grill must have changed owners. They changed the menu and the portion size in the cheese steaks. It’s still good but under whelming compared to before the change

Love love love this place! My husband and I eat there on a regular! The owner is such a nice down to earth guy… Has a beautiful family… And his employees are great! The one girl(athletic build) is always smiling!!, the one cook(Fred) makes great food and knows our order by heart! So when he sees us he already knows what to make. Can be a little pricey but you pay for what you get! And it’s worth every penny! I love the transition from going from Mr Bills to this! Very neat! It is BYOB but no one gets out of hand… It’s a very family oriented place and super good energy!

Always fresh, always flavorful, always friendly. I just had the Harlem(pork bbq, slaw, and fries on this delicious soft roll) and it’s amazing. The fries are some of my favorite in Lancaster. Fresh cut, some soggy, some crispy… YES.

Campus Grille, not bad for a quick bite to eat. Location and Ambiance: Great location near F&M campus, and as far as ambiance goes its a quick bite place which does a good job at being a place to grab a quick bite to eat. Food: I havent seen it, but from what I hear they used to have a massive menu. This has apparently changed, and when I went it was really simple to figure out what to eat. I ordered a chicken wrap, and it was cooked well + very flavor. This being said, its nothing special its just a wrap served in a basket. Staff: The staff was ok, but nothing special and not the most helpful. In summary, if your looking for a quick bite its not bad. If your looking for anything more than a wrap or a quick meal this probably isn’t the place to go. Thanks, Connor Brady

Best New York and Philly style hoagies around. They have a ton of selections, fresh cut fries, and I can grab a Philly style cheesesteak with wiz cheese, or, if I prefer something a little different they have excellent deli meat selections, aged cheeses, artichokes, roasted peppers, you name it. They never seem to be very busy when I go but they should be because I always leave happy

I order take-out from Campus Deli once a week. I usually get a sub or salad. The portions are generous and the ingredients taste very fresh. The tuna salad and chicken salad are heaped on a mix of greens, green pepper, cucumber, and tomato wedges. Each salad is enough for two adult entrees. The prices are very reasonable and the staff has always been helpful. If you like goat cheese and roasted red peppers, the Sophia(sub or salad version) is right up your alley. Thanks for the great grub Campus Deli.

Student at F&M here– I’ve been going here for the last year and a half(I didn’t really ever eat out my freshman year), and I consider myself a usual. Their food isn’t perfect, but it’s superior to just about everything around at the price range. Students get a free handful of fries(bring your Student ID the first couple of times, once they know you they don’t ask). The shakes are good and thick and they have some pretty decent unusual sodas(birch beer, cherry soda), although I usually just get a water. I highly recommend the Black & Blue. It’s a bleu cheese and bacon burger. The bacon is thick cut and well cooked, and the buns are pretty hefty. The sandwiches are better than the wraps.

When it first opened I was impressed at the authenticity of the Cheese Steak sandwiches, being a life-long patron of Pat’s Steaks in South Philly. It was much cleaner, too, than the #1 Cheese Steak sandwich shop — The Captain’s. THe owner did a really nice job of redecorating and making a nice place for customers. But the steak meat has gone to the dogs in the past few visits. Gristly meat is a real turnoff. When they get this right again, the next step might be a try a little charm school out for the staff. I like them all, but it took a bit to get past the ‘tude that some of them brought to work. All the other sandwiches are really very good, and the menu is huge. If you’re not going in for the steak sandwiches, you won’t be disappointed.

Happened by this place around lunch and decided to stop in. Food was pretty good. I got the Tribeca Wrap, fries and a drink. waited about 14 minutes to get my food but it was worth it. The Chicken was definitely pulled from a home cooked chicken and not precessed strips. The quality of the Chicken was impressive. The fries were fresh cut nice and hot Shoe string style I liked that they had a good selection of drinks rather than just soda. I got Raspberry Iced tea. They also had a hot pepper bar. The menu was enormous. The place was packed. I don’t have a problem waiting for quality. I’ll return.
