The Station House Tavern

My husband and I went here last night to celebrate. Arrived a half hour early to enjoy a drink at the bar. The blonde bartender was very rude and miserable! We have never been treated like she treated us at a bar. We cannot rate the food, because for the first time ever, we walked out and went to another local restaraunt and had a great meal.

I got the House Nachos with blackened chicken during a Saturday evening visit, they were the best with the freshest toppings. There’s a great selection of approximately 20 regular and seasonal brews on tap. Plenty of TV screens for watching a game, the interior is modern with nice décor, and lots of free parking available in a clean and well lit parking.

Food and service are always fine. Good selection of beers on tap. Bar usually has a fun vibe, especially during football games.

Nothin special bout the place just a typical bar /​restaurant nothing that makes u say ill b back … Bartender caters more to locals even though I live not far if not a regular u get brushed off. Oh we’ll there not the only bar in area.

Was in the area for a wedding for the weekend. A group of us went there for some finger foods and drinks. It was about twelve of us, they said it would take about 45 minutes, no big deal. So we go to the bar and wait. An hour goes by and still nothing. Finally the manager that night said he didn’t know how to seat us together and kind of just let it go. What the hell? So he was just gonna leave us at the bar without saying anything? Great manager right there… besides that numb nuts, the food and service were good.

Was there yesterday. Truffle fries = epic. Cheeseburger = delicious. The art work on the walls were really cool and unique. I just wish they could control the draft a little better.

First things first:
the blonde hostess at the Station House is a miserable excuse for a person. I’ve eaten here probably 2 dozen times, and not once has she been the least bit pleasant. I have no idea how she manages to stay employed there.
Now that that’s taken care of: nearly everything else about this place is wonderful. The food is always delicious, the rest of the staff is considerate and attentive, and the location is great– just outside the city. Do yourself a favor and visit for a game or dinner! Just try to avoid the hostess’ evil eye when you get seated.

Good place to go with a group of friends to catch up. The menu features a bunch of good bar food including nachos, quesadillas, burgers, sandwiches, and more! The crab pretzel is to die for. Plenty of TVs and drinks for watching a Sunday football game!

We go there almost every week. Great TVs, great pub food. Generally good service but a few weeks ago went in there with a business colleague at 7:30 pm mid week, had to deal with really loud, hard-​core music. Bartender was swearing, refilling drinks in the same glass and dipping them into the ice tray. The service at the bar is normally great but can be poor when the right manager/​bartender isn’t around.

Would rate this place negative if I could. We called ahead and made a reservation because we had a group of 14. 10 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 5 to 7. We asked for a table to seat whole group together and informed them we had small children with our group. They said no problem. Well that was a straight up lie! We get there and they sit our group in two separate tables. We had asked when we called if they could seat us all together. They said no problem. We asked our waitress if we could push the tables together. She said flat out no because the two tables would have different waitress’s. Then we ask for children’s menus and they said they do not have children menus. The waitress then proceeds to tell me the kids can just eat chicken tenders and fries. Well that was the last straw. We asked for the check to pay for our drinks and we went to another place. I’ve worked in bar/​restaurants for over 20 yrs. I have never argued with a customer or told them no for simple requests. We will never be visiting this place again.

Whilst traveling for work some coworkers and I dined here. The tables were clean, the service was great and the food was good. I had the bbq burger and we shared some buffalo wings, buffalo shrimp and loaded buffalo chicken fries. The buffalo chicken fries in the full order size was a tremendously large portion. The ½ serving is sure to be able to satisfy most nearly any 2 wanting to split this appetizer. Our group of had a hard time finishing off the full serving.

If I could rate this place with negative stars I would. Ordered the filet and crab cake dinner. Ordered my filet medium rare and it came out well done. I requested to simply be charged for crab cake meal because I am not one to send food back to be recooked. The manager requested the server to take my filet away which is fine as I was not going to eat it but what happened next was unacceptable… the manager came to our table with the side plate the server had put my filet on and dropped it on the table and proceeded to argue with me it was done medium rare because his cook had been cooking for 23 years… this is F’in BS!!! I asked for filet back so I could post a picture here for all to see but he wouldn’t bring it back. Worst management at a restaurant I have ever come across and will not ever go back here.

This is the best bar in Lancaster to just hang out and watch a game, or grab a quick lunch. Great wings and burgers. The TVs are situated perfectly for watching multiple games. Its a great pub with nice wooden décor that doesn’t give off the cheesy feel that many ‘sports bars’ do. You can just as easily have a great night out here if you have no interest in sports. Service is great, and their specials provide great value. Everyday prices are very reasonable as well.

Great place, awesome atomosphere and the beer selection is great. Food was better than I though it would be! would deffinately recommend this place!

Great staff and good drinks. Trivia night is fun and I have yet to try anything on the menu that is bad. The blackened chicken is perfectly done and anything from bar food to dinners they prepare well with huge portions.

Good food, good drinks and friendly service. The prices are reasonable and I love their blackened chicken caesar salad! It’s a great place to watch a game too. Enjoy!

Good food. Wings are good. Staff is friendly. Good atmosphere.
