Baymont Inn And Suites Lancaster

Horrible Horrible Service. Manager is pretty full of himself and does not care what contracts are in place. Despite being called by our corporate travel company, as well as informed by me that we work nights, he still managed to wake us up at 0930.
Will not stay there again, and will inform others to steer clear. This is the only Baymont we have ever had a problem with.

Stayed there in July. Sweltering heat. A/​C started smoking.
The room rates confirmed via e mail, were changed upon check out, again higher on the credit card bill, and again on their reply to the dispute! FOUR different amounts shown!
Be very careful when staying there. Owner, who comes across very nice, has no respect, is argumentative, and has a huge chip on his shoulder– states also owns other Chicago hotel, and can do whatever he wants!
Had a very bad experience. Would not want to go thru it again.
Rooms were dated, side doors broken, No Ice machines working at the time of our stay, had a worker who was at the breakfast room sick & coughing w/​pneumonia working– when asked as to why she came in, she was scared of her employer and had to come in.
Rather give my money elsewhere next time, than put up w/​arrogant, and non-​people friendly owners. Should definitely not be in the business of people relations.
Would you beieve, I am still trying to get my credit card charges straightend out, as they keep overcharging! And I have confirmations, and printouts stating otherwise. They had altered my signed paperwork, and would never trust them again!
Do yourself a favor, and try to stay somewhere else…

Not that bad for a small town motel, but don’t go in expecting too much. The rooms were recently updated and the showers had good water pressure. (something I always look for in any hotel or motor inn!) The complementary breakfast bar leaves much to be desired and the rest of the place was pretty dated. The free wireless internet was a definite plus for my internet addicted brother and I. Overall, for the price, I think it was totally reasonable. Sure, it’s not as shiny as the Holiday Inn nearby, but we saved quite a bit by choosing Baymont.
