Hampton Inn

Is it clean? Yes. Is it close where I need to be? Yes. Are the rooms the sexiest? No.
You can easily be wooed by new paint, wallpaper, and bedding. Don’t fall into this trap! At the core of the hotel is customer service, which this one has. Don’t expect a 5 star resort here. Keep in mind that at the end of the day, a hotel is just a place to sleep, shower, and shit.
With the basics in mind this hotel fits the bill for the average business traveler. No fuss, no muss. You have a nice comfortable bed to sleep in, clean towels, sheets, and bathroom. Parking is easy, and it appears you are in a downtown area that includes some decent shopping. You’re generally not going to be staying in a Hampton Inn for vacation, kids, especially if you’re in the entertainment and arts Mecca that is Lancaster OH.
You can tell this property is next up for remodeling based on the looks of the lobby. Hang in there, the newer Hampton Inns will surprise you.

Dissapointed with this last visit. I have stayed here many times before and the hotel was always clean and quiet. This trip, my bed was barely made (duvet pulled over the bed but the sheet was still where I had kicked it off in the morning), room not vacuumed and only towels changed out. I don’t think the bathroom was wiped down in the 3 days I was there.
Then there were the people smoking cigarettes and other things in their rooms immediately next to me. I think it was addressed after I complained.
Staff at front desk are still very friendly!

Stay here every time with my trips to Ohio. Always clean, helpful, and plenty of stores, restaurants nearby. The pool & jacuzzi are very nice, room rates reasonable and workout room small but can get some use out of it. My only complaint is breakfast isn’t all that great, not that I’m expecting top notch quality at a hotel but food can be bland at times. Other than that this hotel is perfect to suit your needs. Bed & sheets clean, nice tv in the room, housekeeping does the job quick & fast always came back to a refreshed room!!!

Very modern look. Great staff! The décor is beautiful. The place smells wonderful. The food is fantastic at the breakfast. The pool and gym are both close. The bathroom is nice and bright! This is one of the best places I’ve been to! Don’t change a thing guys!

This is a good, solid Hampton Inn. Nothing spectacular, but nothing groan-​worthy, either.
Typical great service, clean rooms, and quality experience!
