The food was good but the service was great. I found the atmosphere a little stuffy but not bad, and the prices were a little high for the quantity and quality of the meal. In all not a bad place and I would come here again, but probably not regularly.

Our first dinning experience here was somewhat positive. We was seated right away and attended to by a very nice & polite waitress. It did take a little while to get the salad before the dinner and it did take longer than normal to get our dinner. The food was very good but it and the drinks were over priced by about 20%. The décor was also dated. The food was worth coming back for but it is too pricey to dine here on a regular basis.

Good for the area if you don’t want to go over state line for gourmet style food. I got the steak which was cooked quite well however nothing amazing. My girlfriend got scallops and was disappointed. This dish I could have most likely replicated at home for a quarter the cost. The scallops were just seared in butter and served with a bacon/corn/snow pea style side. An addition of a nice cream sauce would have presented a better plate. If we go back we will have to try something new. As for the service and atmosphere, i’d say they have decent service and it should get better as time goes on. The atmosphere is okay, but I wish they would have update the inside a bit and not separated the bar and dinning areas completely. Formality is business casual at the most. Majority wear jeans and a button up. It will be interesting in the coming years, as sidelines opens their Italian grill on the corner of summerfield and secor, as to what that will do to or for Sage. I still wish this place would have turned into a craft beer gourmet brewery style restaurant. I think that would have been a better additive to this community.

We ate here 12−11−15 with a family party of 8. I had filet mignon, and it was great, side of squash, good but not great, a potato side, good and lobster bisque, which is worth the trip all by itself. 3 of our party had the beef Wellington and loved it, my husband had the monk fish, which he said was good, but would not have again after tasting the beef dishes. The rest of our group seemed satisfied with their choices. We had good & attentive service on a Friday night. Prepare to spend low 20’s to low 30’s per entrée, but we will go back!

We enjoyed our meal there thoroughly. Sage is a nice little addition to the area. The food was good, the drinks were good, the service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. Nothing outstanding(yet) [more visits needed], but not one bad thing… either. If the bar would be so kind as to keep at lease one bottle of «Red Stag» by Jim Beam, then we’ll put Sage in our regular rotation of places. I would recommend Sage.

Go go go. By far the best restaurant in the area. The menu is simple but complete. Surf and turf. Prepared well. Lobster bisque and French Onion soups were great. We tried both and they were excellent. Rib eye and salmon. Atmosphere and staff are good.

I have ate at Sage twice. Once for lunch. The burger and steak fries were very good. The burger was cooked exactly as I ordered it. The other time was for dinner. The crab cakes appetizer was very good. The french onion soup was fair. Some of the onions were well caramelized but some were still crunchy. The pork tenderloin dinner seemed a little dry. The crab ravioli dinner tasted a little too fishy and the squash side was underdone. The kale side was good. So not impressed with the dinner items we tried so far. We will go back to try some of the other dinners to see if they are better. The service and presentation were excellent.

My wife and I just tried out Sage for first time and liked the place. We usually go to Quimbys down the road, but Sage was a nice change. She had the 10 oz steak, which she liked, and I had the scallops, which were tasty and artfully plated with a nice selection of snow peas, beans, peppers, and corn. The meals came with salad or soup. My wife liked her salad and the lobster bisque I selected was flavorful, but only warm, not hot. My only other complaint was that the bread served before the main course with olive oil was nothing special.
