You know it’s authentic when you’re the only person there that doesn’t speak spanish

I keep here for a second time for lunch. I came for the tortas and my first time around I thought it lived up to all of the Unilocal hype! The carnitas torta was delicious! This time I brought a co-worker and both of us were very disappointed. The sandwich was incredibly understuffed, particularly compared to these photos on Unilocal as well as my 1st experience. I can’t say I wouldn’t go back to Taco Unico. But now I know that I will not be able to count on it being a great experience.

Me and my family are addicted to the steak tacos(some call street tacos) These are the best I have ever had and I have had my fair share of mexican food. Their green salsa is so good for those like me that want it HOT! The red salsa is awesome as well and you get one of each with your chips and with each order of tacos. If you love tacos, you have to try these! Cash only so hit the ATM first.

For real though. This is a diamond in the rough. A little hole in the wall that looks borderline sketchy, but is well worth it. Their tacos are incredible and the staff is incredible and everything is incredible. It’s hard to miss because of the lackluster billboard/sign out front, but keep your eyes open because the food is just amazing.

Really good food and a nice clean family-run place. Had a delicious Lengua Torta. One of the best I’ve ever had. And their puréed jalapeño salsa is delicious(and very spicy!). Highly recommend this place. Being your cash — no cards– but prices are reasonable.

I went here yesterday with tacos in mind. Instead I ordered the enchilada plate. It was huge, 3 enchiladas, beans, rice, and sliced avocado. I did eat in so chips and 2 salsas were served. At the last minute I ordered horchata, and it was only $ 1.50. The meal was great, everything was pretty spicy, which I really liked. And the price was very affordable as well. Even though this is a place where you order at the counter they still provide table service, and the lady that works there checked on me often. The only down fall to this place is that they only take cash. Update: 2nd visit, I ordered a smothered burrito with chicken. Some of the best green chili in a long time.

Tacos y Salsa used to be my favorite Mexican food until I tried Taco Unico. Amazing tacos! I have the al pastor and the chicken and both are tremendous. Their smothered burritos are to die for. Really great people. Not the nicest part of town but I make the drive at least two times a week all the way from Highlands Ranch. Make sure you take cash as they don’t accept credit cards.

I am giving them a five based on the only two things I have had there; soft tacos de pastor and asada. These are the staples of Mexican taco truck fare. And Taco Unico does them better than anyone in town, and for $ 1.50 each. Asada is pretty simple, but their pastor is the best in town. The salsas are very spicey. I had to take the green off of one of my tacos. The red is awesome. They stay open pretty late so if you save $ 6. after a friday night out, save some time to get to Taco Unico.
