Went in yesterday, the man there was kind enough to show me some hair extensions I was looking for. I also showed him a picture of a hair product I needed and he was nice enough to grab it for me. I also received a free heat protectant with my purchase. Good customer service, I’ll definitely be coming back soon :)

Does not give the same service nor samples to each customer. Owner stated it depends on the purchases however, I’ve witnessed this and it is simply not true. Will not return. Far too many beauty supply stores to be subjected to discriminatory practices. No thank you

Nice shop! They have a men’s styling product that you cannot find anywhere in town… Also, prices on bundle packs of shampoo/conditioner are great! So far I’ve not had any issues with customer service as prior Unilocalers have described, all my experiences have been positive and the ladies very helpful. One issue occurred where store was closed 10 minutes before stated, I reported it immediately and it has not happened again :)

Went there today 6⁄26 I wasnt greeted, wasn’t offered any help or service. I had 6 items ready to purchase. I’m at the counter abs ask if I can use the restroom. The older woman looks me up and down and shakes her head no at me. Better believe I left the items at the counter and walked out. I’ll never shop there again. I would have been okay if she spoken one word to me.

I went into this store for the first time yesterday and was never greeted… The bell rang when I walked in and their was a little Asian teenager at the front desk, she never even looked up or greeted me… She was just glued to her phone the whole time. I walked around for 5 – 10 minutes looking for Infusium and So Silver shampoo and she never asked me if I needed help or anything. I finally got irritated and asked her if they had those shampoos and she just said«uh, no, not here.» Really? Not only did they not have those basic shampoos, but I wasted my time looking when she could have just asked me if I needed help in the beginning and saved me the time… This store definitely needs to get rid of her and hire a new front desk girl if they expect to have any business. I’m more upset with the customer service than I am about them not having those shampoos.

I have been here several times because it’s near my post office box. However, I don’t think I’ll go back. Although there is a nice selection, the employees that I have dealt with are not well informed about products. Twice, they have told me things I actually know are untrue about an item(like this product is for X type of hair when it’s actually for the opposite, or this product does not have X ingredient when it says right on the bottle it does). They are also not very friendly.

If I could give it «no stars» I would. I think«THEY» think«WE’RE» stupid. I’ve shopped here for years, I even shopped here when the previous owners were’ under«She’s» beauty supply because it’s so close to my home. I used to religiously spend big dollars at this place. I use Mixed Chicks on my daughters hair and if you’re familiar with that product, its $ 50 a pop. I buy it every 2 weeks in addition to all the other beauty needs that I like. Normally, the staff is friendly and I have even on occasion, seen faces of «color» working behind the counter which in my book is a plus(although lately, I haven’t seen any of those«faces» …hmmm, wonder why). I bought an electronic pressing comb(Gold n. hot) and it didn’t work upon the first use, just didn’t get hot. Anytime I have to return something to places like this, I literally cringe because I know there’s going to be some drama. So I Went back with the original box, to the same lady that sold it to me, and after some real explaining to her, she said she would«let» me do even exchange. I was like oh good, she recognizes that I am a valuable customer, and will make the exchange. When I bought the item(two weeks prior to returning it) it was $ 29.99, when I returned the defective one I had, I noticed they raised the price of the same product in the store to $ 32.99. Well, to make a long story short, I ended up not doing the exchange that same day, but I let her know I was going to do a little research on that item to see if there was a widespread defect on the product before I just got another one. After reading reviews on the product, I went back to do the exchange. She had previously written the«$ 29.99» price that I paid on a business card to enable me to do the exchange. When I got the other pressing comb, of course the new price was $ 32.99, she asked me to pay the difference. Wha? Why? It was an «even» exchange and I had literally returned the actual item already. We went back and forth and I told her that wasn’t fair, and that she knew I spend loads of money in that place. I also told her I would NEVER shop there again, and would tell all of my friends not to as well… which she didn’t seem to care or recognize. Why is this? Why don’t «THEY» care? I hate to pull the conspiracy theory card, but I think«they» do that because they CAN. I think They have a monopoly on certain black hair care products, and until t hings change, they will continue to treat«US» however and not stand behind the products that they sell for that very reason. I’m over it! This is why I don’t shop at swap meets, or the little no-name shops in the malls because my dollars should earn me more respect than that in the marketplace. I learned a valuable lesson though. I WILLONLYBUYITEMSOFVALUEFROMSALLY’S ORTARGET/WALMART ORSOMEOTHERLARGECHAINESTABLISHMENTTHATSTANDSBEHINDTHEIRPRODUCTSANDWILLEXCHANGETHEMIFDEFECTIVEPERIOD. The aisles are a bit small(if you use assitive equipment or are maybe holding hands with a child), though the employees are always friendly. I have always found what I was looking for in here; unless it was a hot commodity and happened to be sold out. Sometimes their employees are not knowledgeable about hair and hair products. They only know what’s most popular. But that, I think, is frequent at many other beauty supplies. I love this place, and whenever I need to go to the beauty supply I first ask to go here!
