In the area and Luigi’s was convenient for dinner. The place was attractive and the guys behind the counter were very nice. The waitress, although pleasant, seemed distracted during our visit and service was a tad slow for a Tuesday evening with very few people dining. I wanted a salad, and their take-out menu included salads, so I didn’t think this would be an issue. But the dinner menu listed no salads at all, which was kind of puzzling – most Italian restaurants offer salads. The waitress said salads were on the lunch menu. It took me a while to understand she was telling me that even though they were on the lunch menu, I could order them for dinner. My Ceasar salad arrived with just the right amount of grilled chicken and parmesan. I also ordered a side of olive-oil roasted broccoli with garlic, which was delicious. Others at our table ordered pizza and other salads, all of which looked good. Everything was reasonably priced, too. I give them high marks for atmosphere, value and food, a slightly lower mark for slow service, and finally a request that they consider adding dinner salads to the menu.

Called in a take-out order for a personal pan Margarita pizza, house salad and small drink. Total was $ 17.10. I thought the price seemed high, so I looked up the menu online( ) the next day. The small personal pan is listed for $ 6.95, and they informed me when I called back that they haven’t updated their website, but the pizza is now $ 12.95! Twice as much! The girl I spoke to said my bill should have been $ 19! Better read the disclaimer before anyone orders food! To be honest, the Margarita pizza was one of the worse pizzas I ever had! No fresh basil, very little mozzarella, and the salad was wilted! Won’t go back!

Went there for dinner. The food at best was diner food. Fair at best. Could not understand the server. Never had the pizza.

Always consistent. Pizza to bar to the elegant setting in the dining room. Never had a bad meal. Plus live entertainment from lounge singers to a psychic to comedy night next Tues. Love it!

Let me start off by saying, if I could leave no stars I would. Our servers name was Alyssa, I came in for dinner tonight with my family(party of 9). I have never, ever had a server make rude comments to me. At first everything was going great, until we asked for more bread. Then came the rude comments, «They burnt the bread, mistakes happen» A simple apology would have been fine. I asked for more water, she took my cup and put it on the soda machine. I’m assuming she«forgot» about it but once my water finally made its way back to the table«We could be nice» were the next words out of her mouth. Through out the dinner, more rude comments. She even went as far as to talk about our table with her co worker in ear distance. Finally after brutally slow service and an obvious lack of respect for our experience, we paid our bill and were walking out the door. Alyssa had the audacity to run after us and blatantly ask why she didn’t get a tip. Proceeded to scream obscenities at me, right at the front door! Asked our party for money and even screamed that I was«white trash» across the parking lot. I will never return to this place or recommend it. Beware of Alyssa, rudest disrespectful server I’ve ever encountered. STAYAWAY.

Decent food, rude staff. Waitress was mumbling all kinds of stuff when asking for more drinks and even bread. Even worse she appeared to be on drugs while taking our order. Go else where stay away from this place.

The pizza was perfect. The sauce was tasty and the cheese was delicious and plentiful on top of a crispy crust. Eating in the side pizza section is no frills. You take your own menu from the counter and place your order. They call out when it’s ready. Simple as that. End result — BEST pizza around.

Terrible! Salad wilted and dressing was tasteless. Bread was not fresh. Waitress was pleasant, but overall the service was poor. The food overall was not so great. The only good thing was there was a male vocalist with an awesome voice. Have no intentions of ever going back to Luigi’s. Save your $$ & time, look elsewhere. Sorry to say :( P. S. They did not charge extra for the fies.

I know the owner, he’s a thief, bought Bobs Lakehurst Inn, then filed for bankruptcy. Kept liquor license that he never paid for, as far I’m concerned he’s a scumbag.

Birthday party for nine people Sunday at 4:00PM. All the food was awesome, seafood was fresh, pasta was perfect. Nice local restaurant outdoor seating a plus. Strong drinks nice wine menu. Lived here for 3 years and new to this location, I have been back 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Pizza is also the best in the area. Nice people great food, try it you will enjoy.

Stopped in for lunch with my husband today, just to grab a few slices. We recently moved to the area and hadn’t tried Luigi’s yet. They have very nice outdoor seating that you notice just before walking in. There are plenty of signs that tell you to see a hostess to be seated out there. The windows are decorated with window paint-but it’s not tacky in the least. It’s very clean and looks very professional. We walked in and were greeted almost immediately. We ordered a few slices and a couple of fountain sodas-the total came in around $ 15. This is because we ordered the«daily special» slices, which are a dollar more than their plain slices of the day. While I didn’t get to see or try their Sicilian, from what I could gather, they seem to specialize in thin crust pizza-not easy to do! I ordered the veggie pizza, which came with fresh onions, peppers and mushrooms. My husband ordered the sausage with broccoli rabe slices. We sat down in a booth, and this place was SOCLEAN! You can tell they have their staff working hard, even during down time, because one of the younger girls was scrubbing away at the window. Very impressive because you don’t see that level Of cleanliness in places like these all the time. We both were given our slices and one of mine was slightly cut off at the end. I didn’t mind, pizza slices can have that happen, but the employee must have felt bad and brought me a beautiful big piece for free. Right there is what gives this place 5 stars! Not only that, but I really wish I would have found out about this place sooner because they have GREAT tasting pizza for much less, price-wise. The crust was a perfect golden brown, the cheese was so fresh and yummy, and all the toppings were incredibly fresh. I might have to skip over the convenience of delivery from the place up the street from me and just order from here from now on. Thanks for a great lunch! We will be back!

We are here again…3 or 4 times this past month. Good food, good service, good bar if desired. The wait staff is getting to know us… And we live 800 miles away… Figure that one out.

Went back to the sit-down restaurant. Let me start by saying that the service was very good and friendly. The food, on the other hand, was not nearly the same as the last visit. Everything swimming in oil, the mussels in white sauce was awful, and the raviolis actually tasted like baked blintzes. I don’t know if this was an off night, or if the last time that we came was a rare good night. Not sure if I’m coming again. I might try a third time, just because the service is very good.

We went here on a Saturday night about 3 weeks ago and I was really impressed with everything. The atmosphere was very nice, it was extremely clean, and there was a singer that provided some soothing background tunes. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Very good food PLUS extremely reasonable prices. For 5 adults, with a few apps and a bottle of wine, the total WITHTIP was about $ 130; a little more the $ 25/pp with tax and tip. I’m looking forward to going back when it warms up and sitting under the pergolas out front!

I will NEVER return to this restaurant ever! We went in tonight for dinner and had some of the worst service I have ever experienced. We waited over 20 minutes to get drinks — water and cocktails even though we ordered the moment we sat down. Our waitress kept complaining she had«bad hearing» so maybe that is why she messed up my dinner order completely and never gave us bread, cheese, pepper, ketchup, etc. We spent over $ 100 dollars and she never checked back once throughout the meal and would make up an excuse every time we asked for something simple like more water… Hello? Aren’t you working? The place was a shit show and the food was not even good. I ordered shrimp and scallop scampi and got shrimp scampi, the waitress«has bad hearing and has been working for 12 hours…» it was gross, thick, goopy, and tasted like straight salt. My husband had a veal special that was cold when it was served… Oh and did I mention that we waited over 20 minutes for each round of drinks! Right, this was definitely an experience worth over $ 100 for 2 adults and 2 kids… Crap… STAYAWAY! Oh and the staff was having towel fights… where they were literally whipping eachother with towels and screaming/cheering…maybe that is why they are all too tired to work!
