Best lasagna I have ever had out.(Almost as good as my Mom’s!) Good pizza and burgers too. Servers friendly and attentive. Always feel welcome and leave satisfied.

Ordered a burger from there and told them very well done. Never ordering from there again, burger was tasteless and burnt. It tasted like they cooked it on a dirty grill. Left a nasty after taste.

Customer service is horrible! Esp from the ladies behind the counter. We called for half cheesesteak pick up and our order was done incorrectly. Lady insisted we ordered the wrong thing which is a large pie but on the phone she gave us the price for 7 dollars and change. How can a large pizza be only 7dollars only?!! We said CHEESESTEAK and it doesn’t sound like PIZZA! I wouldn’t mind th mistake much but the attitude is unbearable! Rude Rude Rude! I will never recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped in looking to watch a little football and have a few drinks without having to fight for bar seats. Luckily, this place delivered. It’s a very nondescript looking place. It just appears to be yet another pizza place in a strip mall, but we saw the«and pub» on the sign and decided to take a chance. The place is a normal looking pizza/Italian place with a medium sized bar in the back with TV’s and a few bar tables. They had a great all night happy hour special for Saturday nights. The beer pints were running about $ 2.50. You can’t beat that with a stick. We also wanted to check out the menu. I decided on the single(1 lb) order of wings, medium hot. My fiancée grabbed a rice ball and just felt like having a side of meatballs(2). The chicken was pretty good. Fried wings, but they were quite meaty and the medium heat was pretty good, some wings were hotter than others, but overall very tasty. Kathy K enjoyed her rice ball and meatballs. She even grabbed a cannoli which of course I tried and was delicious. This is a classic example of trying a new place and not judging a book by it’s cover. We found a nice local bar that wasn’t packed, but had enough going on to be fun and we were very satisfied.

Excellent pizza. NYC style thin crust that you can fold in half. Finally!!! We found a great pizza place in this area. We had a large pie with bacon sausage and pepperoni — delicious with ice cold draft beer.

The food is average parking can be tough for take out. What I don’t like is its a little pricey for pizza. But most of all the attitudes from the girls at the counters. They act as is you are bothering them and come across as snotty. To this hurts cause pizza places are a dime a dozen here and I’d rather give my money to a place that’s has less attitude. Overpriced and attitudes not for me.

I usually go late at night with a friend or two for drinks and appetizers. Close to home and a nice place to get wings or a sausage and peppers sandwich after kitchens are normally closed at other bars. I’ve also had the pizza, which isn’t my favorite, but still is good especially when you don’t have to go too far to get it.

I’ve only had their burgers, pizza, & garlic knots so far, and all were really good. Burgers are nice size on big rolls. This helps to keep the toppings on, which are plenty of whichever you choose. A burger deluxe(w/fries) & a drink is plenty of meal, leaving you full. They’re not skimpy with the pizza toppings, and the pizza is classic Jersey style. Medium thick crust & pie & cheesy. Also, it’s not that greasy. Real tasty. The garlic knots were medium-sized, garlicy, & they serve their own sauce, not just some bland marinara. They have a restaurant area seperated from their bar with a few t.v.‘s, so you can bring the family & not worry. Plenty of seating as well. I thought the prices were about average, not too expensive. The service has always been friendly, eating in or picking up. It’s a good night out for the family, a date, or just grabbing a bite.

Charlie’s is normally pretty much what you’d expect, decent pizza, etc. and drinks. Any other time I probably wouldn’t bother with a review, but I was in the area right after Sandy and this place was up and running, and obviously part of the ongoing healing process. A real down home neighborhood spot, trying to get back to normal and help people put their lifes back together. Great Job!

Nice clean looking place. Huge improvement from Nicks. Sadly the food and the prices aren’t. The eggplant rollatini was the worst I have ever had. There was half clove sized pieces of garlic in every bite which was awful even if you love garlic and for 13 bucks it certainly wasn’t cheap. They also have a tendency to over cook pizza. On the bright side the subs aren’t bad.

This restaurant was formerly known as Nick’s Jersey Pub which was nowhere near as great as Charlie’s is now. From their tasty stromboli’s, mouth watering penne with vodka and who could forget their perfectly done pizza(they even have Hawaiian and Margarita pizza) this is the place to go! Football season is here and if you are craving wings, head on down to Charlie’s! You have a choice of an order of 10, 20 or 40 wings done the way you like them: mild, medium or hot. Enjoy!
