We made an open table reservation 2 weeks prior for Valentine’s Day, The Reservation. Was cancelled two hours before on our way by Chair 6 because when they received there Open Table report for Day they noticed they did not have a credit card which would have not been an issue and they cancelled on such a Special Day , The owner is nasty and his staff is extremely cold as if they don’t care at all about customer satisfaction In NYC they would never last ‚ The word in town is not good and from what we hear people who have eaten there will not be back The place itself is a broken down house with no ambience or friendliness, as mentioned COLD The establishments in town on the main strip are much better and mostly walking with excellent food, This Opinion is from frequent restaurant foodies who live in NYC and appreciate good service, hospitality and food, Don’t waste your time here,

Came here after all the great reviews. We started off with a little of a sour taste, first we arrived at 4 and we were asked to leave since they did not serve dinner until 5. They when we came back we asked about the«why not Wednesday» with the $ 25 pre fixe menu, apparently it was not being served due to Presidents’ Day weekend. If we knew that we would probably never have came for dinner since the dinner menu is rather on the expensive side. With that being said I probably had one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life. It was cooked to perfection and the Brady sauce was exceptional. My boyfriend had the porkchop which was really good as well however he did leave hungry. It was a quaint atmosphere and the chief came out to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The preparation and quality of the meal was exceptional but def on the pricier side.

Absolutely amazing. The minute I walked in here I knew it was going to be incredible and it delivered. I will go here every day for breakfast before heading to Whiteface.

I had an awesome breakfast burrito and my boyfriend had the omelet special which were both to die for! To top it off we had a side of sweet potato pancakes which were the best we ever had! Would recommend highly for breakfast.

I am not sure how this is even possible, but I had the best ramen of my life in this little house restaurant in the middle of Lake Placid. Although I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, it looked excellent and I would not hesitate to return here.

If you are looking for breakfast in Lake Placid go here! My husband and I showed up at 8:40 on Sunday morning and the last open table(wait was 20 – 30 minutes). A busy but friendly waitress got us started with coffee & small oj($ 5 for both). We had a hard time deciding what to get and many of the specials looked delicious as well! I got the Big 6-sweet potato pancake, an egg, homemade rye toast, home fries and sausage. I also asked if I could get a side of sausage gravy because I really wanted to try it(I’m pregnant so I can justify this). My husband got the hunters huevos with game sausage. There was a little bit of a wait for food, but we were the last table in a full restaurant. When the food came the portions were huge! The sweet potato pancake was so fluffy, like cake. I got two giant sausages and delicious home fries. I took half of my food home and so did my husband. Prices ranged from $ 10 – 15. The food is locally sourced and portions are large and food is amazing so the extra few bucks are worth it. Worth the trip and the wait !

Cozy little house restaurant. Came for breakfast. Trout omelet and breakfast burrito with a $ 7 wild boar sausage(actually farm raised in Colorado). I’d expect a $ 7 in Brooklyn, not in Lake placid. Still, it was delicious. Great service. Our food came out quickly. Would definitely recommend.
