I would give my vegetable lasagna and cocktail 5 stars, it was awesome. I give the service a 1. We walked in and the host was rude to us and despite having our name in for a table of two, other couples who arrived after us, also a table of two, were seated before us. This was my general experience around lake placid and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT for anyone who is LGBT. I finally asked why others who came later with no reservation were seated first? When would our table be ready? Especially since I could see 3 open tables from where I was sitting. At that point we were brought to our table. I would have left, I hate giving my money to people who treat me like a second class citizen, but this happened to us about 4 times while we visited this weekend.
At the end of the meal I asked for a to-​go container to package my food and the waitress threw it at me and then disappeared for 25 minutes when we were clearly waiting for the check.
The whole experience just left me feeling bad, but thankful that my food was yummy and got a second meal out of it.
I am sure if you are straight, white and rich, this place is perfect for you.

Came here on the recommendation of someone at our hotel and I just ordered the schnitzel. It was exceptional and the cozy atmosphere is great after a long day of skiing. The pizza is pretty good too and the Greek salad
is great and HUGE.

Wings, cheesy treat, kale and bacon salad, gyro pizza, cocktails! It’s all good it’s all solid! This is the must stop in place for locals and visitors alike! I come here every time I am in LP and leave happy every time.

I enjoyed my beet risotto at Lisa G.‘s and would definitely return to this establishment if I am ever back in the lovely town of Lake Placid. I wish there had been a few more healthier options on the menu but this is more of a ‘down-​home’ restaurant and the food is cooked with love and lots of calories. Everything was very tasty! The sloppy Joe pizza was absolutely scrumptious and this seems like a great place to dine with the whole family.

Great food, great people, great all around spot. Very happy we found it! Menu was amazing and the recommendations (food and sights) from our server were great. The ice cream sandwich desert is not to miss.

Sorry to say the overall impression was not good.
I ordered the steak sandwich which comes out as a steak on a very thick piece of toasted garlic bread. The steak was burnt and had a burnt tasted thru-​out. The spinach was served chilled? But the fries were good.
My kids got the cheeseburgers. They were ok.
And my husband got a chicken sandwich which he said was excellent.
The waiter took our order and disappeared. We were lucky that a waitress in the area noticed our drinks were empty so she helped out. Some other person delivered the food. We had no silverware or napkins so we had to grab him before he left. Then the original waiter showed up at the very end to give us the check.
The bill was $ 58 with tip.

Went to Lisa G’s last week with a large group; called ahead to make a reservation and it was no problem.
Wait staff was fun, cool, accommodating and friendly. Cool overall atmosphere.
Food? Shared a bunch of appetizers — fried calamari, nachos, pita with 2 different kinds of dips and another that I didn’t try but it got devoured. Everything was great.
People at the table got a mix of different things — salads, pizza, burgers, pasta, burrito. I had the smoked chicken tacos and they were good. Everyone was happy with what they ordered.
They’re closed on Tuesdays.
Will definitely go back next time I’m in LP.
