I’ve been going to Shawna Black for a couple years now and I can’t say enough good things about her.
She’s a really talented stylist and I’m always thrilled my haircuts. I show up with new photos and do something different almost every time I get my hair cut. And every time, I leave with a fun new ‘do that I’m really happy with.
On top of that, she’s an incredibly sweet, fun, and down to earth person. Every time I get my hair cut, I leave feeling like I just spent an hour laughing and joking with a good friend.

I researched great hair stylists in Lake Oswego and Sally at Salon Be came up. Fortunately she had a cancellation so I was able to get in. She did an amazing job… taking long blah hair and shaping it into an actual style. I am from Washington DC and hadn’t brought a hair dryer with me… but I didn’t need one. It was that great of a cut! I am so happy with it and her… plus the price was half of what I usually pay. I will definitely return when I am in town!!!

Going to a new stylist can always be a little nerve racking, but I was ECSTATIC with the results I received from Jamie Charlton. Absolutely love the color and cut she gave me as well as the advise on what to do with my hair. Jamie is also incredibly easy and fun to talk to. It made for a wonderful morning of pampering, great conversation, and fabulous hair. Would highly recommend booking with this fantastic person and stylist.

Jamie was my stylist today. I just moved to Lake Oswego over a year ago and I have been looking for somebody who meets my needs as a hairstylist. Finally, my friend Katie, (Who has the best hair ever) referred me to her stylist– Jamie at Salon Be. I called Jamie, and she was able to get me in within less than a week– which was so impressive to me. The salon itself is beautiful, and very busy – and Jamie was very interesting to talk with, and very experienced. (She even bought me a Starbucks while my hair was processing)! How sweet is that? I absolutely love my hair. I am super picky and detail oriented, and Jaime is amazing with color. I also found her layering technique to be top notch. (I have long hair with natural curl, so somebody who knows how to layer properly is very important to me). I would highly recommend Jamie and I would highly recommend Salon Be. Thank you so very much Jamie, I look forward to working with you in the future. My daughter is next up on Jaime’s appointment list.

Jamie Charlton is fabulous! It took me 5 years after moving from NYC to find someone I trusted with my hair and Jamie is it. She knows how to deal with my straight, thick hair like no other. And she’s just a fantastic person!

Jamie Charlton is the greatest. I have bounced around to different stylists for years — never quite finding someone who could color my blond hair the way I like. Jamie has done an amazing job, and I always love what she does with my hair. Jamie has also cut my boys’ hair, and has done a great job with them as well.

Emily York is an amazing stylist!
Before I started going to her I struggled on finding a stylist that gave good input, and was able to give me the cut and color I was dreaming of. Now every time I leave Salon Be I am the happiest girl alive! Emily does a great job at re-​creating exactly what I want, and I always look forward to my appointment! Emily York is an awesome, relatable, and fun stylist! If you are looking for a stylist she is the best!

Emily York has been my stylist for over 2 years (at least!!) I have never been a stylist monogamist, until Emily. I followed her to Salon Be from her last salon… something I never thought that I would do.
Since going to Emily we have transformed my hair in to a variety of looks, each one different, fresh and fun. I have never received so many compliments on my hair since I have with Emily. She does everything from my cut, color and laughing with me. She not only has great skill, but she understands her clients needs, likes and what will be complimentary to their style. I have no problems giving her a general idea and letting her run with it! I know I will walk out of the salon feeling like a million bucks!

I love this place, its amazing! If you want excellent service and great pricing you need to go here. I have finally found my forever stylist, which is hard for me because I’m very picky about my hair. Sally is beyond wonderful.

Sally saved my hide (and my hair)!
My at-​home hair coloring misadventure sent me in a panic but Sally saved the day! Not only was she able to see me that day, but she assured me, «You’ll feel beautiful when you leave here.» It was EXACTLY what an at-​home hair coloring sinner needed to hear.
With great respect for the integrity of my hair (well, what was left of it anyway), she listened to what I was looking for, considered my skin tone/​coloring, looked at photos, showed me samples, and then ever so skillfully navigated my damaged mane from disaster to pretty damn hot.
To sum it up: Sally’s great with color, fun to talk to, and a bit of a miracle worker.
You rock, Sally!

Sally at Salon Be is the bomb. She put highlights in my dark hair, my first highlights ever and I absolutely love them. She is very easy to talk to, super smart and incredibly personable. Upfront about product prices and well worth it. She’s a gem and I highly recommend her. Also, thanks to the gal who was a no-​show twice in a row. Your unconcern for Sally’s time was my gain! I nabbed your spot and got in 2 hours after I called. Since she’s so awesome, Sally is very busy and I know I got lucky. Get thee to Sally!

Super cute salon in Lake Oswego — comfortable, friendly, bright and light — and a great staff! Sally Harris has been doing my hair for over a year and always has great ideas — or is just as happy to listen to me if I want the same style! Highly recommend!

Sally Harris at Salon Be is wonderful. She does a great job with my cuts and color. She really listens to what I want and works hard to meet my needs. She is also a really nice person to hang out with while I get my hair done. I couldn’t be happier with her.

Emily York is the stylist I’ve been searching for for over a decade. She is beyond fabulous and a real great woman. I highly recommend. Emily is creative and very good at what she does.

Wonderful experience here! All of the staff was incredibly friendly. Karlee cut and styled my hair and she was great. She listened to what I wanted and was so easy to talk to.
