So SO pleased to meet Denise W owner of Shear Creations who was under high recommendation by friends. She colored my hair EXACTLY as I asked (many others don’t!) and I walked out feeling fabulous. More than anything, I loved her energy and so was willing to give her a try. I also love she has a non-​profit which gives back to women in need I will definitely contribute to — women who need haircare that can’t afford it… how cool is THAT, on her website!
The surroundings are nice enough, there is plenty of parking and it’s great to have a day in Lake Oswego downtown which includes her reasonable prices and a walk to the lake, Peets, a nice lunch!

I just had my hair cut by Rhonda and I have not been this unhappy in years. She cut it so badly that my only option is to let it grow out. I went because of the good reviews and I truly wish I hadn’t.

Denise came highly recommended, so I grabbed an appointment with her. She did a fabulous job re-​shaping my hair and finding a way to give my straight, heavy hair some lift! It’s a hairdo that fit’s my get-​up-​and-​go lifestyle. (no time for styling)

I’ve been a client of Denise’s for many years now, and I so enjoy every visit to her! I like to play with hair color (within limits of what my professional work life allows…:)), and I’m always so happy with what Denise creates! I love the products she uses, as they’re very gentle on my hair and just leaves my hair feeling nice and smooth. Not only is it fun to sit down in Denise’s chair, but the complimentary beverages, and sometimes even a treat, just adds that extra touch to the salon experience.
AND, look up info on the most amazing event that Denise has put together for the last few years — Pamper for a Purpose. Denise is a very experienced hair dresser, and also has a heart of gold!

I have never been happier with a haircut than the one I get from Denise at Shear Creations. I have tried most of the notable Salons in the Lake Oswego area and thankfully I do not have to hop around from stylist to stylist anymore!
Haircuts for men are competitively priced for the area. Even when I don’t know exactly what I want Denise contributes her experience and expertise and the results are noticeably better from any other hair cut I have had.
The atmosphere is fun and lively every time I go in and I am always offered something to drink. Also one of the best things they have is the scheduling on their website allows you to pick your date and time and also pay in advance. Love it.

Denise is the best hairdresser I have ever had! She is kind, great at her profession and just overall, a great person. She also does not ever cut off more than what I want… most of the time she cuts in stages to make sure it’s not too short– what hairdresser does that? LOL
Her prices are extremely competitive and many times can be tailored to your specific needs– Give Denise a try, I promise you too will become a client for life!

I love having Denise Wetherall work on my hair! She bends over backwards to accommodate her clients. She’s up to date on the latest trends, great prices, excellent colorist. She explains what she is doing and why she is doing it. She asks for feedback from you to see if it’s what you are wanting.
Free coffee and tea. Free parking available right in front of the store. Walking distance to all the wonderful shops around Lake O. Very clean. The other stylist and manicurist are very friendly as well.
You won’t regret having Denise work on your hair!

My wife and I both have been going to Shear Creations for almost two years. I love the quality of service and attention to detail. I cut my short this past year which is super scary but Denise made the process easy and my hair looks so cute.
Added bonus, they now a glass of wine with a cut and wifi.

Rhonda has been my hair stylist for over 20 years. I seriously would not let anyone else touch my hair. I live in California now but she is still my one and only hair dresser.
If you want a fabulous hairdresser with low prices Rhonda is your girl. She also keeps up to date on all the new treatments coming out, including brazilian blow outs and straightening systems, and attends many hair shows and lessons to learn new techniques and sharpen her skills.
She is AMAZING!

I’ve been going to Shear Creations to see Rhonda for over ten years. I just recently started coloring my hair blonde and she has done an amazing job. She also does awesome hair cuts and styles. Prices are about $ 5 for bangs, $ 40 for a cut, and coloring varies… but well worth it.
