Ming’s Oriental Cafe

My meal was horrible to say the least. I ordered my favorite general Tso chicken the sauce was watery an not sticking to what I believed tasted like, day old rewarmed chicken. I also ordered fried wonton they where big but it was all dough barely any meat stuffing to taste! I have had mings once before when they first open in the early 2000’s I believe it was horrible then and I thought I’d give them another chance and I was very disappointed. I was told 20 min for carryout It ended up being just shy of 40 min.

This was some of the most disgusting food I have had in a long time. My husband ordered the «coconut chicken». We ordered take out. When we got home and opened the container the smell was so rancid that I immediately wanted to throw it out. He being the fearless man he was tried it– he immediately spit it out and threw the entire meal away. Just terrible. Waste of time and money.

Large portions but no taste to anything. Rice was burned. My chicken and mushrooms was mostly onions. My wife’s chicken and vegetables had very little chicken in it. Food was not ready in a timely manor. Very unpleasant experience

This place did not have good food or a good environment. I used to work in a Chinese restaurant so I know the ropes and the food was just mediocre. The problem was the wait for our food to arrive which was extremely long. The seating is nothing fancy just some cheap tables I think and a side bar with some high chairs. When we visited they decided to start power washing the kitchen halfway through our meal causing my friend and I to get sick from the smell of the gasoline fumes and we feared whatever we were eating would have overspray on it. It was so bad that all the windows were fogged up with condensation.

Horrendous! Amazingly bad!
This place used to be great a couple years ago. Unsure if there is a new owner or if the old owner has completely given up.
Do not eat here. The rice (brown though white was ordered) smelled and tasted like cigarettes. The soup had zero flavor. The pepper steak had 6 pieces of meat in it!
Words cannot describe how bad this place is. My advice is to stay away.

Live near here so this was our place. They have ok food, but we found a cockroach in our food once. We’re not gonna go back.

Talk about suck. I mean, how do you make watery Chinese food? Seriously?! The food was dripping in a watery sauce. We had three different dishes: cashew chicken, chicken chow mein and egg foo young. All were nasty. They forgot our egg rolls — but had the decency to call us to offer a refund of sorts. There is better Chinese food this far off the beaten path.

This place is very good. Meals are cooked to order, no heat lamps here.

I would give the full 5 if there was absolutely no msg used. its hard to come by a chinese place thats willing to subtract msg just for one customer but you can ask for none if your like me and not really a fan of such usage. there very kind, the wait staff is fun to talk with and over all it’s great food. I plan on going back many many MANY times.

There’s only a handful of Chinese restaurants to choose from in my area. So far, this one tops the other 2 that I have tried. The interior was very clean and neat and the person behind the counter spoke fantastic English (a local teenager). I ordered the garlic honey chicken and the sesame chicken. I was told it would be about 20 minutes. What?! Normally I’m told 10 mino and that’s it. For 20 minutes, I was hoping the meal would be fantastic. While waiting around I got to peruse the maps on the wall of Asia. Somehow my 8^th grade Geography class had slipped my memory and I got to see where everything was located. Not only was I about to get a great meal, I had a Geography lesson to boot. I brought my meal back home and was pleasantly surprised. The portions were 2 meals worth and it was delicious. The eggroll was the «normal» kind, not the one with cabbage in it, which made my day. The bf said the honey garlic chicken was too sweet for his palate, which meant more for me! I will be coming back here for sure next time I get a hankering.
