Tavern 95

Me and my fiancé went here for dinner. We ordered the Chicago Tavern Dog. Very disappointing. The buns fell apart as soon as we picked them up. My fiancé’ bun even had toothpicks in it to try to keep it together. We had to eat our dogs with a fork. When asked how everything was by the waitress we showed her the buns. She went to the kitchen and talked to the cook who said they had tried a different bun and they new they were no good but needed to get rid of them… Really? You know something is junk but you still serve it??? If those were the only buns available the right thing to do would have been to say they were out of buns so we could have ordered something edible. We did get a small discount but will not be back.

Stopped in to get a drink and appetizer ended up getting a full rack of delicious 12 hour smoked ribs, the bartender suggested we try them. They only have them on Saturday and we got the second to last rack. So if your going for the ribs get their early. I would give this place six stars if I could, The atmosphere was great, and the place had a fresh remodel and very nicely done. The service was great and very fast. Drinks were stiff and prices are reasonable. Are place is on the south side of town so it’s very close to home. We now it’s good when people from the north end of town are coming out this way. It’s seems to me that everyone at this place went the extra mile to make us happy. We also had some onion rings and they were delicious. I gave them five star because this place deserves Six stars, we were very impressed with the whole experience. Thank you!

Thank you to bartenders Brent and Austin for making our evening so pleasant. Good customer service is very appreciated. We arrived early and they suggested that we order the bbq ribs and we weren’t disappointed. They sold out just as we received our order. They were delicious! I also ordered the blackened ahi tuna app-​very tasty! Definitely coming back to this place again!

Well-​prepared, delicious broasted chicken and grilled salmon. Top notch Caesar salads. Great child’s menu. Comfortable décor. Very responsive service (thank you Jordan).

Sat on the patio beautiful evening. Ordered chips for appetizer, served immediatel. Placed order for entrée, salads which were good. Server forgot to put in order and used excuse some reason did not show up in kitchen. Had to ask what we ordered after we sat for a long long time. Server said order would be right out. Dinner finally arrived after another long wait. No apologies for delay or forgetting to place our order. Finished dinner and had to wait again for check. Service was very disappointing.

Came here for breakfast on a sunday morning. It was pretty busy but we opted to sit on the patio. We had a group of 4 and at first they attempted to sit us at a tiny table when clearly there were larger tables open. We asked for a larger table and the waitress had a slight attitude but moved us. We ordered drinks and then our meals. Everyone recieved their drinks except one of us who ordered a bloody Mary. After receiving our meal she still hadn’t recieved her drink. We had to ask twice. I opted for eggs benedict which was flavorless. My hubby had an omlett and said it was okay. We probably won’t be back.

I am basing my review on the Broasted Chicken. We visited here on Valentine’s Day for dinner, there was 4 of us, and we all decided to order the chicken. This is one of their signature items, and the waitress told us that we would not be disappointed, that their chicken blew Scotty’s Broasted Chicken away. Well that is not true, the chicken was bland, not much flavor to it at all. Our friends were from out of town visiting and they have never been to Scotty’s and they were disappointed also.
As far as the establishment itself, it is great, very nice and upscale, we ate in the bar area because it was very busy, but I would like to sit outside next time.
Yes, we will be going back, but we will not be ordering the chicken, I have heard from many the other food is wonderful.

Most amazing food ever!!! The only thing was that it gets very loud and busy. But if you’re okay with the noise, its a perfect place for you. We just beat the herd coming in, only had to wait 20 minutes and we got there around 6 or 6:30. Great food, lots of choices, very good customer service, Great time with family and friends. Thank you!!!

This place has been fantastic every time I’ve had the chance to go. The service was great (wish I could remember the names of the servers), and the food… great. The ahi sandwich was outstanding, and great burgers.

We have been coming to Lake Havasu for years and have always ate at the same old (average) restaurants. This trip we decided to Unilocal some places and stumbled upon Tavern 95. And we LOVED it. The waitress was super friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was DELICIOUS!
If you are ever in the area, come check this place out. Our party had the baby back ribs, the broasted chicken, and I personally had the BBQ burger which was amazing!!!

We have had great food experiences here. Great tasting and presentation. Atmosphere is very attractive too.
Just one thing I need to mention… I attempted to write this on their comment page, but it won’t accept it!
This happened a couple of months ago, while dining at the bar.
They should ask their servers to act more professionally. There were 3, talking about another server who wasn’t there. Talking about this person’s lack of personal hygiene. Not something you want to be thinking about while you’re eating your burger.
Other than this, we really like this restaurant, The food has always been delicious!

My new favorite place in town. The portions are huge and the food is absolutely delicious. Both times I went there I had amazing service that made my trip even better!

Food was delicious!!! All seven people in our group were fully satisfied and willing to come back. The only reason I didn’t leave a 5 was based on our service. Our server was slow and un-​knowledgable. Regardless of the service, I would definitely come back for the food.

Seen this place on Unilocal and figured I’d give it a shot while going out to lunch with my father and his wife.
I ordered the Ahi tuna burger with sweet potato fries. This thing was amazing to say the least. Great portion of ahi, the slaw was nice and crisp, and the greens were fresh. I was a little weary to order it at first but once I took a bite I was extremely glad I did!
My father ordered the pastrami and his wife ordered the BLTE. Both looked great and they said it tasted just that!
Needless to say that I will definitely be returning to Tavern 95!

This place is sooo good! We love their BBQ burger. It’s totally unique with a layer of mac-​n-​cheese! Their servers have always been really nice. Food is out quickly and really fresh. We like to sit out on the patio with our toddler and enjoy the beautiful view. If you need a great bite to eat, definitely hit this place up!

Glad I went back and tried this place a couple more times. Now I really like it.
The food had been good on both visits!
The BTLE sandwich was awesome and the Parmesan Garlic Chips were great too!
I will definitely be going back here more often now!

This is my new favorite place in Havasu! Stopped in for lunch and my group of 4 adults and 2 kids were seated promptly. The ambiance of the place is typical of Havasu, it’s a small spot with a bar and lots of tv’s. Everything was clean and well maintained, they had lots of potted plants which I thought was a nice touch. Canvas prints of pictures of food.
Speaking of food, the food was amazing. They do mostly burgers and sandwiches but man they do them well. I had their basic burger, it was well seasoned and cooked. Served on a fresh brioche bun. Amazing, totally knocks that gay bar in Vancouver BC off the top of the podium for best burger ever and that spot has been holding onto the #1 spot for more than 5 years.
The sides were great. The fries were perfect. Just perfect. Not too thin, not too thick, hot, perfect salted and seasoned. The side salad I ordered was the oddest combination of amazing and unexpected possible in an iceberg lettuce salad. Iceberg lettuce, mozzarella cheese, diced tomato, finely diced onion, carrot shavings. It seemed weird, but it really worked.
The rest of the group had a New Yorker steak sandwich, the California Chicken Sandwich, and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The kid had the kids chicken strips and they were all amazing.
Service was SPOT ON. Drinks never got low, the next round was never late, never had to search for the server to ask for anything. Fast, friendly, and skilled. They even gave us to-​go cups with refills on the non-​alcoholic drinks.
Private parking lot. Ice cold beer. High functioning AC system. Important stuff for a desert spot.

Great place! Nothing to complain about. Sat out on the patio on a nice evening they didn’t even need the misters on. Food was great. I had a basic burger and fries. The buns were AMAZING! Somebody else had the jalapeño burger and said it was really good. You can choose from a few different sides including salad for no extra charge which is nice. Hefty drink selection and the price was not too bad.
The place was pretty busy. And we still got really good service
It was good enough that we were going to go back the following night but decided on something else and frankly I would have rather gone back to tavern 95
To the staff at tavern 95: keep up the good work. I really enjoyed the experience and I will absolutely be back
