Nice location, terrible service, high prices for average food that was slow to come out. $ 2.50 for a small Coke with no refills. Beers not cold.

FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. Such a waste of money! Please find a better place to eat… This is the first Unilocal review i’ve ever felt the need to write because it was so bad I think people should know before they waste their money. Felt bad for the waitress because she was a nice girl, and it wasn’t her fault it was such terrible food. While we were sitting outside, a person asked the host if they have good burgers here and she replied «Honestly the food isn’t that good.» And as the busser was taking our plates he tells us that they have many complaints about their food, they really need to fix it or SHUT DOWN!!!

A sidewalk café that had a rough start when the hostess was snarky about seating us in one of the many open tables. The service was painfully slow– we had to ask several time about our food status. Do not order the tossed salad, nor the gyros (it appears to be taken out of a refrigerator and still cold upon arrival). 1 star goes to the Mac and cheese bites which were delicious after waiting about 40 min for them to arrive.
There are better restaurants in the area.

Horrible service. Horrible food. Messed up orders. Food came in after 45 minutes. Everything was cold. No manger was present. Waiters had no clue how to take care of customers. I would rate them negative in cleanliness. They were not ready to listen to customer complaints. Waiters were running around like chicken without head.

Firstly, this place is insanely priced for what you get. over $ 160 for our small group and no-​one ordered anything special. ½ of our orders were made incorrectly or just forgotten about. The food we did receive was horrible. Literally microwaved food with cold spots. The service was also poor, and when notified management did not care. The best thing was the cold fries (that no one ordered). Avoid like the plague… will never be back. I wish I could score this place a negative number.

Staff were pretty nice but all running around like crazy yelling at eachother about how they were out of things. Food took a while to come out and was not as described on the menu. Not as crowded as nearby places…

Service was probably the slowest I have had She was friendly but we were here two hours for substandard sandwiches and terrible margarita. Location is great atmosphere is fine and view is wonderful. It is a shame it is wasted on a place that offers the experience we had

We love Lake Geneva, but we should have read Unilocal before setting foot in here. Warm beer, food was super salty and way over priced (but for a tourist town I understand). We sat ourselves and after checking over menu we noticed that they had Happy Hour and decided to try a few appetizers. Sadly after we recieved the bill we noticed there was no discount and after attempting to flag the waitess down we showed her the bill and she said she would fix it. She returned with a check that was still incorrect. Left with a salty, bad taste in our mouth! Readers beware, I wish Hogs and Kisses was open. Would’ve much rather eaten there.

If it was possible I would give this 0 stars.

Food was good. A little pricy. First thing I noticed was I ordered a coffee and the coffee cup was dirty. Not a good start, especially for the price.

I was very disappointed in the restaurant. The location is perfect, the food was really bad. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. The lettuce was limp, the chicken was skimpy and there was a random piece of dried cheese on the bottom of my lettuce… The place could also use a good cleaning. We won’t be back.

Super casual place to grab a burger and beer with a scenic lake view. It’s kitschy, nautical décor sets the tone for a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the food is decent. Their fried walleye was pretty tasty.

The food was Good. I Had the salmon sandwich the fish was juicy and the bread was warm. It took a while to get to the table though. Our service was good the waitress was nice. There were no uniforms so i didn’t know who was a server and who wasn’t. There were also people with coats and purses walking in and out of the kitchen. This did not stroke me as very sanitary. I was trained in food service and food safety and stuff like that can get a place shut down if it happens too often. I was also a little disappointed with the selection of food. The food i recieved was good but i would have liked more options.
I would like to try this place again. They have small things to fix but they have a lot of potential.

it was ok, its a just turned teen waiting staff and the older staff has a very nonchalant way about them.
Food was ok enough to kill the hunger pains, fries were good. I had the double bacon and blue cheese burger was ok.
only recommend if you have no other immediate choice. beer selection and full bar is ok.

Wish we had read reviews first. My fish sandwich wasn’t bad and the homemade tartar sauce was really great! However, I was served a pile of broken greasy Lays potato chips as my side. Ordered fish for my sons, which looked and tasted like frozen fish fillets.
Used the restroom, which was an adventure to find and then a disgusting experience to endure. No soap, no paper towels.

For what this place is, it served it’s purpose. Young staff. Lake view. Food was good and came out right away. Tourist trap? Come on people! If you want homie bed and breakfast there are plenty before you get close to the lake. Just saying.

Tourist Trap! But I knew that as soon as I looked at the menu. Everyone was eating out of baskets. How college chic! We sat curbside and ordered our drinks. I told the waitress that we were waiting to order as we had one more coming. Overpriced and juvenile is the only thing that I can say about the menu. I get up to wash my hands and there is a line for the single use washroom. As I was standing in front of the kitchen door I notice a residential freezer leaking water on the floor. Nice! They had an over abundance of flies and since I didn’t have a swatter I decided that my hands were cleaner than the lady behind the grill. As we sat in the 90 degree heat with bone dry glasses, I went looking for our waitress that was M.I.A. for the last 20 minutes. I had enough and walked up to the greeter to ask for my bill. No one knew who was taking care of us? Another 10 minutes go by and guess who shows up to ask if we are ready to order. Right! Get me out of here!

Food seemed to be made by a prison cook. My wife’s eggs benedict was actually scrambled eggs on a piece of english muffin. My steak and eggs had pretty much no seasoning on it and was cooked well done (I asked for medium).
Cinnamon roll had a dry and crumbly texture. Did they make it out of muffin mix? My wife took one bite and handed it to me with a disgusting look, I took one bite out of curiousity, and that was it. Honestly, a Little Debbie cinnamon roll from a gas station would have been a better option.
Had trouble getting the server’s attention to get my water refilled once. I gave up on the second refill. Avoid.

On a nice Sunday morning, I got there at 8:15AM — I got my order at 9:05AM and it was only the eggs, bacon and buttered toast, which I had ordered ‘dry.’ The hash-​browns came five minutes later. —-
When we arrived, we waited about seven minutes for a staff member to tell us to sit anywhere. About 12 minutes later, a friendly waitress came by to ask about our order. She came back with two coffees — mine was in a very dirty cup. It took a little while to get her attention. She apologized and brought my coffee in a clean cup. About then, I had to go across the street to put an hour on the meter — They enforce the parking between 9 and 7. I thought we’d be gone before 9AM. Most of the food came at 9:05AM.
The food took too long, it was okay — nothing special.
I went inside to have a look around. I discovered they have ONE guy working a small grill, he seemed a little overwhelmed by all the cooking he had to do.
So, if you have all the time in the world and you want to enjoy a nice view of the lake, this is the place for you.
