Was incredibly underwhelmed. The Frisco Melt looked really good… on paper. What I got was a really flat cold sandwich. The fries were also cold. The burger shooters were okay. We paid extra for Cajun fries and our order was messed up. Even though they fixed it the fries were still cold! Was very disappointed. Also got the salted caramel milkshake. That was the only satisfying thing we got. Would probably only come back for a fancy milkshake.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! 23 customers already sitting; over 12 servers doing absolutely NOTHING! It took over 10 mins to be seated (just ME) even after manager asked server «someone get door».no one moved or even looked our way. I’ve eaten at plenty of Steak ‘n Shake but this by far is the WORST! My next step is sending a letter to corporate office requesting to shut down this location!

Run far away from this place. TURN BACK NOW. GO TO THE IHOP IN FRONT OF IT. service comes a LONG way. everyone in there is SO rude! I watched people get ignored while waiting to be seated and just leave from no body acknowledging them. We got seated at a table with food underneath the table (NASTY!) and I came home and was on the toilet for an hour from the food. Will NOT be back. Also my friends chicken tenders they forgot to cook so my boyfriend and I were done with our food and she was just getting hers! Awful.

Steak n Shake is not «fast» food. They cook to order. If you see two or more cars in line you will be waiting 15+ minutes that is a fact at all Steak n Shakes not just this location. I’ve never been inside to eat so I can’t comment on that service but I’ve never had any issues with the drive thru besides a wait which didn’t bother me because I expected it. The drive thru employees have always been friendly and I’ve never had an order messed up. Half price shakes between 2pm-​5pm are my downfall.

Very good food. They were slow getting us a table and the hostesses was not the nicest. Our server was very nice and helpful. The bathroom smelled awful and was not the cleanest. They were slow at getting us our food. (But it was lunch rush)

Poor service. Made order online and came in to pick it up and the manager was in the back on his phone with employees. They informed me it would be a minute because he had to set up breakfast. Rather than setting up breakfast or cleaning or anything he is on YouTube or something again when I walked back in 10 minutes later.

Stopped for a quick lunch today. The atmosphere in there was very plesant, the staff was clearly happy to be there. I just had a salad and shake. Both were delicious. Thank you Jamacia for the fast and friendy service.

Literally the dirtiest steak n shake I’ve ever been to. The service is so incredibly slow. Only 2 servers on the floor for breakfast. They seem to be very understaffed for a Sunday morning.

Maybe I’m a little spoiled because I had never had a bad experience with Steak ‘n Shake until we stopped here during our travels from Florida to Kentucky. We understood waiting 20 minutes to be seated because they were busy. However, they proceeded to make us wait 20 more minutes after seating us before a waitress came to take our drink orders. It took 45 minutes to get our food and they forgot parts of our order. People who arrived after us were finishing their food before we got ours. When we asked to speak with a manager, no manager came so I’m guessing they didn’t have one. We have nothing against Steak ‘n Shake, but we won’t stop at this location again.

The manager was attentive initially and took order and told us our servers name. Then the mgr was back to take our order. We ordered some onion rings which he said he would ring up first as starters and Jeff ordered a bacon burger and fries and I ordered a chicken harvest salad. The meals came, delivered by mgr, and Jeff said don’t worry about bringing onion rings just remove from the bill. They brought onion rings that were standing in grease as a courtesy. The manager saw the quality and took them away. Better courtesy onion rings came back. Our server seemed to be spending more time flirting with a guy at the counter. Salad and burger And later rings were fine as expected but service was not normal.

It’s a 24hr chain along the interstate. Food, service, and cleanliness were all exactly as expected. There’s nothing exceptionally great or poor about this place. The full color menus set you up for disappointment. The food never looks like the picture, but thankfully, it tastes better than the picture, because pictures do not have taste.

I love the burgers and fries at this place. I just wish they had chocolate ice cream. The service leaves a lot to be desired but the food usually makes up for it.
Their happy hour specials which are in the afternoon and the middle of the night draw a crowd so be prepared to wait especially if you are in the drive thru.
You can order ahead by calling or faxing in your order and you’ll get things fast at the take away window or the counter.
