Best nail spa in town. They’ve done a great job every time. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. The spa is also very clean. I’ve had a mani, pedi, and a brow waxing and all were great.

Love Botti’s, friendly staff and the salon is clean! I’ve gone here a few years now and have always been happy with the service I’ve received and you get a shoulder massage while your nails are drying.

I’ve been here twice and it was ok. The first time I got a mani and pedi. They did a decent job but the nail polish started chipping in a couple of days. I went back a week later to get acrylic nails for a French tip look. They were busy so it seemed like she didn’t want to do it and tried talking me out of it. She didn’t cut away any dead skin or cuticles and she seemed very distracted while doing the tips. She did not have her machine either to properly do acrylic nails which I thought was weird. After finishing her rushed job, I got a nice shirt back massage before headed out. 3 days later 2 nails came off and one tip came off. The rest of the nails I can see lifting off slowly. I doubt I’ll go back unless for a pedicure

My $ 65 no-chip gel mani and regular pedi took about 70 minutes and included paraffin wax heel treatment, leg massage, hand scrub, and a quick back massage. My nails are shiny and perfectly painted with no missed areas on the sides (my pet peeve). I always have my cuticles pushed back and not cut, so can’t speak to that part.
Notes:
— Everything looked clean, new, and modern (nice pedicure chairs, sinks built into the mani table)
— Huge wall of OPI polish nearly double the size of the Essie rack someone posted a pic of
— Staff was very polite and kind, no screaming babies, no loud cell phone conversations
— Saw a lot of regulars come in, so it seems there are plenty of happy, loyal customers

Nicely decorated, wide selection of colors (mostly OPI and Essie), manicure seems to be decent. My problem was the girl who did my manicure clipped my cuticles so much they started bleeding.
I really wish people could learn to trim what’s necessary and stop well before you end up with bleeding cuticles. I had to tell her 3 times to stop because she was going to continue clipping!
I’m still questioning the sanitation standards here. Old worn out looking emery boards and buffing blocks. Those things are SO cheap and could be replaced frequently.
And what’s up with soaking your hands in a little dish of tea???
Don’t think I’ll be back. There’s gotta be better nail salons!

Average pedi, in & done in less than 30 minutes. I didn’t appreciate that. I wish there was a better salon in the area, but I’m now willing to drive into Vernon Hills for better service & prolly better prices.

The end result is great, which is why I had to give two stars. The reason I can’t do more is because the last two times I’ve come there have been screaming babies and toddlers. Not relaxing experience at all. I realize there’s not much the staff can do about it, but I had to speak up. I live across the street and am planning my wedding, but because of this I won’t be coming back, unless I need a quick job done and don’t mind screaming children.
By the way the first time, it was someone who worked here that had a crying baby wander the place, dropping stuff on the floor and crying.

I really, really wanted to like this place as it is 2 min from my house. I’ve been here twice, first time was ok, tech was very friendly but pedi did not last even 1 week. 2^nd time I came back I just wanted to relax. Unfortunately the girl doing my pedi spent the ENTIRE time on her cell phone while doing my nails, and at points she was actually in a heated argument with the person. Definitely not the experience I was looking for, to say the least. I was actually concerned she was going to accidentally cut me or take her anger out on my toes! Awful. Their prices are on the higher side, which is to be expected given the area, but given the two experiences I’ve had so far, I won’t be back.

This place is awful. I have been left with uneven and sore nails with cuts on my skin. I had a very painful experience. The technician who did my nails seemed to have no idea what she was doing; she kept mumbling frustratingly to herself or asking other staff to help her. After cutting my skin with the file she had me soak my hands in acetone which was extremely unpleasant.
I only tried this place because it is so close to home, but I will continue driving the extra 30 minutes to my regular place.

Went in during lunch today because time is crunchy for this weekend… and I needed a pedi BAD for the socialization pending… which was just okay… and at $ 35… way WAY overpriced for the level of skill and service.
My toes still have some roughness to edges here and there… where more cuticle could have been removed. The color application is uneven close up and I would be pretty mad if I didnt have the same Essie color at home.
My person was the tall one… and nice enough but this place is pretty sucky in comparison to the ones in the Schaumburg area maybe Its the competition… but you get a much better pedicure for $ 25 vs. $ 35 here.
Maybe I one of the other techs is really good and I got shafted? Not a fan, even a little.
P. S. Gel manis are normally $ 25… Not $ 35. You can get a gel mani and reg spa pedi for $ 40 specials in Schaumburg… If you pay cash.

I’ve been coming her for a few months now and I must say I’m never disappointed. Best pedicure I’ve ever gotten hands down and its totally worth spending the extra cash as for manicures they always last me a good week before chipping. They really take their time for eye brow waxing. My skin is sensitive but I’ve never broken out from it like I do other places. The waxing takes place in a separate room away from everyone which I never expected out of a small nail spa but I’m happy they do it this way. You should definitely come check this place out!

I had a terrible experience on my most recent visit. I made a 5:30 appointment for a no chip manicure. After going through the entire thing, the nail tech wiped off my nails with a cotton pad soaked in alcohol, which is normal for cleaning off the nails. Except it wasn’t alcohol — it was acetone, which stripped the manicure.
Instead of acknowledging it (though I watched her sniff the bottle), she added two more coats of color and another top coat. I have SIX coats of no chip on my nails right now. There was no apology, no discount, not even an explanation. I saw the entire thing happen, but she never said a word — acted like it was a normal manicure.
I’m not going back. I get that mistakes happen, but it could have been owned up to at the time and corrected differently — remove the whole thing and start over, ask me to come back in to fix it, etc.
Good thing I like Lincoln Park After Dark — it may be on my nails forever.

This place is amazing. I never have a problem here and I have been coming for over a year. They have been open for about 2… Alicia is my favorite she does a GREAT job and takes her time. Everyone is super super nice! Wouldnt go anywere else!!! Its my mini escape!

Small and cute nail salon. Staff here is very nice. Got a no chip mani here and it did last two weeks. Cost was $ 35 which based on looking around seems to be the norm as far as pricing goes. Will be back again.
