i would like to say this is the worst chinese food i ever had, i am chinese, the rice is undercooked, the food is nasty. when we told the owner this, she never feel sorry and never apologize. i hate this f**k lady, so rude to customer. and when we return the rice, she told the chef to recook and serve other customer in the night time. what the f**k. and the price is super high, too much oil and definitely unhealthy. very bad restaurant. never come again.

for what it is, this place is perfect. service and ambiance might be lacking a bit(one dish came out after I was half way through my plate and the air was hot and muggy) but the food was exactly what I was looking for. they do delivery, we’ll opt for that or take out next time.

Easy to order and quick delivery. We stayed at the Royal Lahaina. The food was typical Chinese food. It wasn’t anything super special but it was good. They did forget our rice and soy sauce. But for the quick delivery, not having to leave the resort or eat in the restaurant it was worth it. FYI — you do have to meet them in the lobby. They don’t deliver to the cabins.

Good was good and hot, vegetables fresh. Dumpling soup very good with good flavor. Plenty of shrimp in the vegetable shrimp dish and not over cooked. General chicken spicy. Service good. Good place to eat if you just want a good meal with no frills.

I called in an order to go here yesterday. I ordered three entrees, two appetizers, a small order of soup and fried rice since the entrees did not come with rice. The total came out to be $ 77. Holy hell i was not expecting that. Everything was very yummy, especially the Mongolian beef. The beef was tender and it came with lots of onions which i love. The flavor was perfect as well. The General’s chicken was ok. It was good and all but just different from what I’m used to. The crab rangoon was different too but a good kind of different. I think the dough was homemade and you could tell. Plus, they did not skimp on the cream cheese. I would go back if i lived closer but i would first look for somewhere a little less pricey. The hunt for my go to chinese restaurant continues.

Best Chinese food I’ve had. I recommend you order to go and pick up yourself. Everything was fresh and delicious. The orange chicken was best! veggie fried rice was moist and very tasty. I also highly recommend the pork chow mein. All food was fresh and not oily or greasy like others. Worth the price and leftovers are awesome.

Called for delivery after the sunrise tour. She took the order and said 20 mins. Called after an hour to ask if we could come over instead? Who does that?

COCKROACHESHERE!!! Came here today, and while half ways through our meal I seen a huge cockroach, I told the waitress there and she killed it, but a few mins later I seen another one crawling up the wall. The lady gave us a 10% off but still rather eat at a clean place than this, food was good, but still grossed out about that cockroach!

Frankly, I am being a little generous to give them three stars. The food was just mediocre at best and there is an extra charge to have rice with your meal and if you want fried rice that will cost you $ 9.95. All of that is just fine if the food is worthy of the price but that is simply not the case here. Both my wife and I agreed this was the worst meal we got while spending over a week in Maui. We did get the meal to go so maybe they would have really impressed us with good service if we had stayed, either way if you are used to good Chinese food don’t bother stopping here. If you are used to average Chinese food you will be right at home.

Next time when you eating here. PAYATTENTIONS to the receipt!!! The owner will charge you 15% service fee as tips. But the actual amount they charge is more than 18% of total after tax. And when I asked, there are no explanations and apology. It is not worth coming here, the food is not even good tho!

If your tired of the lunch plates and resort food like I was, this is your spot. The place is nice and clean, staff was really friendly. The owner when to every table making sure their meal was good. They also deliver if you don’t feel like leaving your hotel room. We ordered the magnolia beef and the whole fried fish done szechuan style with bamboo shoots, carrots, and mushroom. They were both REALLY good, especially the whole fried fish. You can tell the fish was fresh and not frozen. We will b coming back here again to try the beef ramen soup.

The waitress(maybe owner) is a racist! She discriminates Chinese although herself is a Chinese! Here is our story: we were hungry for Chinese food after days of having Hawaiian in Maui. So we found this place. When we walked in the waitress were friendly with smile on her face. After observing us carefully she started to speak Mandarin to us and confirmed we are Chinese. After that the smile was forever gone. She kept the shitty face when taking our orders, bringing dishes and so on. While serving tables aside us where seated American guests, her smile and friendliness came back. We were the only Chinese guests at the moment therefore the difference of her attitude was so easy to tell. She even brought the check so early that we weren’t able to finish. What the hell? Isn’t it TOO obvious? Did we do anything wrong that pissed her? NO! I don’t know exactly what was going on but one thing we were so sure about is that this person has issues with Chinese, especially Chinese tourists. She might think we are straight from China so don’t know anything about restaurant services and can’t do nothing about her bad attitude. You are so wrong lady we have been in the US much longer than you could imagine so here comes my Unilocal review. Take my 10% tips and lose every single future Chinese guest. Discriminating your own people makes you soooo pathetic. Here follows Chinese version in case some people can’t read English: 这家店的老板娘歧视中国人,同样都是客人,对美国人跪舔,对中国人特别不友好,像欠了她几万块一样,饭菜质量也不好,中国人不要来!来了气出一肚子火!

Great cheap Chinese. Reminds me of Cali. Worth a try. Super casual. Super yum. Haven’t had Chinese like this since i was 10. Order everything. I had the seafood chow fun, Shang hai beef and mushu pork. Yum. Wraps a little tortilla-ish as opposed to rice paper-esque but it’ll do.

We used to come here all the time when they first opened, but then we moved, situations changed, and it kind of fell off our radar, I’m sorry to say. When my dad suggested we eat here Sunday night, it was like finding home again. Seven of us ate family style, and everything was excellent. Our favorites were the cashew chicken and pineapple tempura shrimp(dessert, basically) I have seriously been thinking about that meal for days, and I will definitely be back soon!

My birthday dinner, craving good Chinese food and all my expectations are based on the classic Golden Palace. Have tried Fu Linn and been disappointed. My daughter suggested China Bowl and the clincher was, they DELIVER! We ordered the following: Roast duck …4 stars, it was really good but the sauce could have been better. Kung Pau chicken…5 stars super ono and would highly recommend. Sweet& sour chicken…3 stars too much breading for my personal taste but they give you a cup full of S&S sauce to drown the over breading. House fried rice…4 stars very good. Shrimp Foo young…5 stars and by far the best dish we tried. The only suggestion I would make is add more vegetables to all the dishes, All in all it was a great experience from calling the restaurant, to delivery to my house within an hour, by a very nice and personable man. I will definitely order again and wish them all the best.

We came here from a couple of recommendations, but sadly everything was completely lacking! We order soup and an appetizer of calimari… the calimari came out at the same time as our entrees and the soup cam out last. The portions were tiny and the the quality was not that good. The orange chicken was luckily decent, but for how much it was, there was not much there. We had fried noodles with pork and there was barely any noodles and they were. Rey weird, like pad Thai but not the normal Chinese noodles you can count on. The egg drop soup tasted more like water than anything! And this is the FIRST Chinese restaurant that did not serve rice with the food… you know that’s a bad sign! Sadly, the service was terrible as well! We had to ask several times for everything! My husband ordered a beer and he had to ask twice for an opener and about four times for a glass. I would definitely say skip this place and find somewhere else!

After we tried Lahaina’s restaurants but were discouraged by the 1+ hour waits, we decided to head back to the Westin but found this place on the way back. Really tasty and SO reasonable for this area in Maui! We had the corn chowder soup, the vegetable soup, fried rice, and the Ma-po tofu dish. Everything was very satisfying, especially after a day out in the sun. We come to Maui every year so we’re thrilled to have found this place. We wish the woman who owned the restaurant was a little friendlier but the man who works there was very attentive and nice. A great option for dinner given the food, price and location.

First of all, the service was exceptional. My water glass never even got to half full before it was being filled again and the food was brought out very quickly and piping hot. We had the Kung Pao Chicken, the Mushroom Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Chicken with an order of Veggie Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were so-so, but the meals were all very good and very filling. My only complaint is charging extra for rice. Who eats Chinese food without rice?

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I will skip the service which was mediocre at best and just focus on the terrible food. We ordered 3 items: crab rangoon, pork fried rice, and orange chicken. The crab rangoons were left in the fryer too long and were dark and hard and chewy. These were the best part of the meal. The orange chicken was oddly breaded(more like southern fried chicken then the standard Chinese food method). It was pretty salty, but otherwise lacked flavor. It was not crisp or crunchy, but soggy. It was bad, but not nearly as bad as the pork fried rice. How do you mess up fried rice? For one thing it was very oily, leaving small grease puddles on the plate. The pork in it was not Chinese BBQ pork, it was ham. Sweet honey ham that had retained so much water I can only assume it was boiled. The peas were undercooked leaving them firm and a little fibrous. And the worst part about it was the salt level. It was insane. I like salty foods but this was on another level. Everything was so bad and improperly cooked it makes me think it was an accident. The price was a bit high, but it would have been happy to pay it for halfway decent food.

We flew in from the mainland and found a menu at our condo and it said delivery, so with jetlag we just wanted to eat immediately. I had the orange chicken and my husband had the walnut shrimp. Amazing. It was delicious and flavorful. Not too salty and generous portions. They charged extra for rice which usually comes with the entrée at least on the east coast, but even the rice was delicious. Definitely ordering from them again before we leave!
