Service is not there, the employees ignore you and spend most of their time putting things away. There is also quite a bit of incorrect marketing, and the staff is aware of it. I went to buy a few skirts that were on a 5 for $ 10 rounder and was told that was not their promotion. When I showed them the rounder that was half filled with the skirts in question I was, very rudely, informed there was nothing they could do and the cashier remained very rude for the remainder of my visit. Needless to say I am no longer a consumer at V Generation, and I’m not too sad that they’re closing.

Sure, this store is a bit trendy, a bit South OC-ish, a bit geared towards tall and skinny girls who have no shape and weigh 90 lbs. But, I love it anyway. Extra bonus that their size L shirts are even geared towards us girls who aren’t sticks and weigh over 100 lbs. Nice. I go in this store every couple of months or so. I really have to spend a good 20 or so minutes looking through the store to see if they have anything I like that actually will fit me. Sometimes it’s a miss, but most of the time it’s a hit. Their clothes are trendy and fashionable, reasonably priced and last a fairly good time for the price tag(most of the shirts I have bought here last me 6 – 8 months and that’s with me wearing them on average of 4x’s a month). The only downside to V Generation is you REALLY have to know you want the shirt, or the dress, or the purse, or whatever from their store because they have a very strict return policy. You can only return the items you bought within 14 days, with a receipt and the tag still on. Plus, they don’t give cash and/or credit back to your credit card. They will only give you store credit to purchase something else at the store. In the couple years I’ve been shopping here, I’ve only returned one shirt since it had a hole in it that I didn’t notice until after the fact and they were super nice about the return.
