The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

It was my first time here. I didn’t have CBTL in a long time. Sadly I had forgotten as to how to order let alone what was what. Not knowing how well experienced the baristas are, I went with something simple (I only play around with flavor combinations if I know how well they are in making drinks). I was glad they offered as to if I wanted glass. I got the Mexican hot chocolate cappuccino style in a glass mug. Not too sweet and felt quite nice to have something warm go into my stomach. CBTL never seems to fail me. Though I was just visiting in town, perhaps I’ll come again in the near future.

Adore Coffee Bean’s teas. Appreciate that this shop is still alive in the Laguna Hills Mall when nearly everything else has disappeared.
At most, there will only be a few people in line (again, because there is hardly any business at the mall), so a bit of patience is all you need.
Favourite teas are the english breakfast, earl grey and winter dream. I prefer the ordinary tea; I have tried the tea lattes before and found them a bit too sweet for my liking.

Love Coffee bean more than Starbucks the taste and smell of fresh coffee it is just best thing in the world. this location is very clean and staffs are nice and always welcoming.

Anthony is supremely nice and so welcoming! Overeard a customer being rude and he handled it super well! Great customer service and the Vanilla Iced Latte was amazing! Definitely will be back thank you Anthony and staff we had a great experience!

I love the Coffee Bean. Ever since discovering it a few months back, I don’t visit Starbucks anymore. The only downside is that this is the closest location that I’ll go to. It’s a little far. But, when I am around here, I love going here.
This beats Starbucks. My favorite drink is the Chai Tea Ice Blended. It is so good! The Starbucks Chai Tea Frappé is not comparable to this one. It just isn’t good. The Coffee Bean is amazing. I love the consistency of the Ice Blended. It’s perfect. I’ve tried the No Sugar Added Version, and it’s really good! I have been getting that every time now because it’s under 300 calories for a large and it goes well with my stomach! Also, I love taking my family there. My mom’s favorite is the caramel Ice Blended. She says it’s better than Starbucks, too. My sister likes the mocha Ice Blended with espresso beans inside. My dad likes anything, haha. One time I took my friend here (to the Irvine Spectrum location though) and she said that the coffee is better than Starbucks.
Next, the staff are nice. No complaints. They make me great Ice Blendeds. One time, the consistency was way off and I addressed it. They guy said sorry and replaced my drink. It was no problem!
The store is a good size, in my opinion. It’s all you need, really. There is an outside patio for outdoor seating.
Prices are good, too. The large Ice Blended (Chai) is under $ 5. Perfect.
Overall, I love this location. I recommend trying the Chai Tea Ice Blended, you will love it.

I work here at the mall and spend $ 5.00 everyday on coffee… and I enjoy every penny I spend in this coffee shop 1 because they make my mocha latte exactly the way I love it 2^nd Anthony and his team r all super nice, sweet and have a welcoming smile on there faces… And 3^rd because they r just an amazing team!!! Wow coffee bean u sure know how to find great and amazing people… Love every single one of u

This location is by far the best! I can’t say enough good things about the staff! Everyone’s always so friendly and nice!

This is now the only coffee place I want to go to.
I don’t drink coffee, but I do drink a ton of tea, and this place takes the cake on tea. They have an enormous selection of delicious, loose leaf teas that can be prepared however you prefer. Loose leaf! I had a mix of two teas (Swedish berry and as peach one) at the recommendation of a barista and was blown away. The people who work there are helpful, informative and just all-​around very pleasant, there are some very comfy chairs, it’s just a great place to be.

It is a coffee shop. They also have tea.
The square footage in the store is very small but they have outdoor seating as well, and no one seemed to mind when we walked into other stores in the mall while carrying them, so one can get it to go.
We came during the buy one get one free promotional period for Valentine’s Day. Our drinks were constructed perfectly with no delay and tasted good.

Coffee shop by the middle entrance of Laguna Hills Mall, right next to Ruby’s. They have entrances from inside & outside of the mall for easy access, and also have seating indoors/​outdoors.
Service here is usually quick & helpful, prices are reasonable, and the flavors are good. They also have a great little patio that is dog-​friendly. My mom & I like to meet up here with our kids often :)

Reliably sweet people and delicious teas. Comfy seats, good air conditioning, and cute merchandise. Good, fast wifi and a kickbutt ice blended mocha. Outdoor seating and try the chai rooibos. Strongly recommend. Great bagels and baked goods.

I’ve been coming here for years. They know me when I walk in. Everyone is super friendly!!! Love love my iced blended vanilla with whip. Best part is I work at the hospital across from them. Someone from work will get a coffee for me and they say Kim’s coffee and they all know!!!

Service was fast and great. The place is clean. The location is in an outrageously depressing and outdated shopping mall. I ordered the green tea lemonade, expecting something similar to Starbucks iced green tea lemonade. Holy diabetes batman… one sip of this drink tasted like a combo of corn syrup, mango syrup, and hi-​c lemonade. I do not taste any green tea at all. Seriously CBTL, lay off the sugar! Unsweetened green tea plus lightly sweetened lemonade is the perfect combo of refreshing and delicious. Oh well, guess I’ll just be sticking to Starbucks.

Friendly and quick! I prefer the chocolate powder here in drinks as compared to the chocolate syrup at Starbucks. Plus, Kosher pastries are also a bonus! I have no complaints with Coffee Bean!

The store manager, Anthony, provides excellent customer service. He is friendly and while doesn’t always remember each customer by name, he certainly remembers faces and always makes polite conversation. He’s a pro at making the assortment of coffee drinks offered. Managers like him are hard to come by and CBTL is lucky to have him.

Visited this location for the first time, and although I like CBTL I had to give 3 stars instead of ⁴⁄₅. This branch was not only smaller, but it seemed unkept to me… almost like it was dirty. Maybe I caught them when it was a busy short staffed kind of day, who knows? All I can say is I probably wouldn’t go back, but drive on over to the one off El Toro in the renovated area.
I have to say though, the staff was friendly and I was immediately greeted hello. It was a nice way to start my shopping day.
