Jack in the Box

I was really hungry and decided to grab a quick bite to go. Despite looking small from the outside the interior is quite spacious and can accommodate many diners. I walked up to the counter and the first thing I saw was employees in the back were cleaning up lot’s of food in the back. I don’t know what they been doing back there but but it looked like they were having food fights or mis-​handled some food but they’re all over the floor now. I ended up getting the Jumbo Jack combo and since I wanted something quick and easy. Waiting for my food I saw they had pumps for sour cream, hot sauce, and ketchup which I thought was interesting since most places don’t offer the first two in pumps. And they don’t have napkin dispensers around either. Got my food and checked it a bit and went back into my car and drove off a bit but then I realized they didn’t give me napkins. Since they didn’t have any dispensers around I thought they would give me some but didn’t, I was more concerned with the food from the sight I saw earlier but I would of paid more attention. From the possible mis-​handling of food to lack of napkins I’m gonna have to give them a two, sometimes it happens at work but then again it wasn’t even that busy at the time.

I recently went to the drive thru at this location. The cashier messed up and gave my order to the car ahead of me. They rummaged through the bag and handed it back to the cashier. After almost 10 minutes the car in front of me got their food and left. I pulled up and asked why it took so long. She apologized and handed me my drink. Then she grabbed my order that she had given the other customer to open. I asked if that was the food she gave the other car, she just stood there and apologized again.
Kwan, you are bad at your job. You should have replaced my food with new, freshly cooked food rather than giving me something a stranger had handled.
I called Jack in the Box corporate and some regional manager called back made some excuse about the car ahead of me skipped the speaker box. Therefore it was not the cashier Kwan’s fault. Why don’t you take accountability for handing me food some stranger had touched. If this type of stuff happens in plain sight, i am scarred to see what type of health violations are happening behind the scenes.

They run commercials all week about their new egg and steak burrito but at 10am after waiting in the drive-​thru for 8 minutes they tell me at the window they ran out. So… I said bye bye.

Stopped by the drive thru with my dad last night after going to the Van Halen concert at Irvine Meadows and all we wanted was a milkshake. When we get to the mic, we order two milkshakes and the guy working there tells us that he stopped selling milkshakes at 10pm because he has to clean the machines because they close at 1am. I’m sorry, what!?! Why would you stop selling them 3 hours before you close? I can see why you would stop selling them 1 hour before closing but 3, really? I don’t care how good the milkshakes are. Not coming here again

Teresa was my drive thru lady and usually is, I love her happy attitude and bright smile. Also, if you’ve never tried Jack’s egg rolls, you really should. I’ve had egg rolls from all over and somehow Jack’s are the BEST! I don’t eat fast food often so I can’t compare this place to another JIB, but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Teresa always makes me happy too! :)

No star if I could, I love Jack in the box, yesterday 11÷30÷13, me and my wife drove thru and got burgers and breakfast combo for our 5 year old daughter, my daughter was fine and well and she was happy when she saw the mini pancakes on the combo, she ate it while watching TV and only ate the pancakes, well after 30 minutes she started complaining of headache and stomach ache… Till now her tummy still hurts and that’s the only food she ate. I’m really upset about that and mad at this store. we’ve been to a lot of Jack in the box and this is the first time this happened.

Let me start by saying I love jack in the box! I eat at this exact spot at least twice a week, and would be more if they were 24 hours. I work until 2am so I would go to the one off el toro which is closed for remodel at this exact moment! So why am I upset? Adrian has messed up my order a few times I hate cheese and for some reason 30% of the time it has cheese! I don’t ever forget to say no cheese when I order a burger anywhere. So tonight I place my order and get to the window and Adrian proceeds to tell me how sick he is, as he is coughing and sniffling onto his hands and he also tells me I’m his last customer he was closing early. I proceed to give him my card and ask to change my order and just make it a large combo (so all I added was a drink) it went from $ 7.23 to $ 10.00 WTF? So he hands me my card and drink and I said never mind! I don’t want you handling any of my food that I’m about to eat! I don’t need to get sick!!! I left! And still went to another jack in the box for food! The guy should not announce he is that Ill (he looked and sounded bad). The manager should of had his shift covered. They had most of the day since I was there at 11pm.

Great place for a soda stop in a weird industrial corridor on Moulton.

I won’t spend much time reviewing the food since it’s JITB and it’s the same from one location to another. What does make this location shine above the others I frequent is the fact that you can get some butter with your mini-​pancakes if you ask for it.

I want to give some love to my morning JIB. It’s my morning JIB because I’ve only been here when I want to get my breakfast grub on while on my way to the dungeon (AKA work).
The lady at the drive thru is always so friendly and happy to be there. She gets major props because I’m there at around 6:30 in the morning. She’s probably been working since 5:30 AM and nobody should be that perky at that time of the day. But somehow, she is. That brightens my day!
The only negative: It’s a pain in the arse to make a left onto Moulton Parkway from here. You can make some illegal turns, but that’s just not me. So, I end up going around the back side of the Subway, make a right onto Moulton and make a U-​turn at Ridge Route. Otherwise, if you’re headed toward Irvine, you’re good to go.
Oh yeah… Another negative (at least my experience here) is that I don’t like JIB’s ice coffee. It literally tastes like coffee with ice in it. Hence, I get the Minute Maid OJ or smoothie instead.
