What!!! No ZERO stars can be checked for a review. One star is too much for this garbage. Heard much about White Castle so had to try one. What a mistake, what a paper thin no thicker than a quarter slider and not much bigger. Sliders sucked, Fries sucked, the people behind the counter sucked. Thinking about the $ 6 spent on this garbage called food sucks big time. They make Macs seem like fine dinning. How is this place still in business?

I forgot to rate this one I went to last weekend. Given that I’m from the Peoria area and the Dekalb White Castle is horrible I’ve got to find a great one elsewhere. This was a great one elsewhere. I got the 20 sliders and 4 bags of fries meal. They were clean and professional for 1:00 am. I ate well and farted the same.

My first White Castle experience and was great. Being from the west coast we do not have White Castle. I got 6 sliders and left stuffed. The service was great and super friendly. Also bought White Castle gifts they had the the restaurant.

I’ve never understood the allure of White Castle. It’s the thinnest patty in the world, covered in onions. I think the draw is that you can get so many of them. The fries were good here and the new sriracha chicken sliders were good. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and it was absolutely disgusting. Looked like a bomb went off in here and that it had never been cleaned ever. But the chicken sandwich was good.

Born and raised in Colorado; we don’t have White Castle, but I have always heard of it and never gotten it so we went on our last trip to Lafayette, IN. This one is updated and has the BLAZE section(which is their BBQ). I wanted classic White Castle so I ordered a number 1(4 sliders, Crinkle Fries and a Drink) + I ordered a Sriracha Chicken Slider. So the good first: I loved the fries and the chicken slider. Fries where crispy and salty. Chicken tasted meaty and fried, but had zero heat. The classic burgers where heavy on onions and pickles(which I liked) and light on meat(it is a weird thing patty with holes in it). The roll is like a Hawaiian roll and is really soft and yummy. It was and experience, but I don’t think it is for me. It must be a mid-west thing! The place was near the hotels in Lafayette and it was very clean, so those are all pluses!

My family and I were in search for somewhere to eat on our way back home from Illinois. Well, we came across this White Castle with a Blaze Modern BBQ inside, so I was excited to try it out! I’m not that much a fan of White Castle like my family is, but now I am a fan of Blaze! I wish all White Castles had a Blaze inside! The food was very good for being a fast food BBQ restaurant! I also liked the different choices of BBQ sauces to choose from! The only downside is that I wish it was closer to home.

Terrible! The patties are really small and thin! I only went here because of Harold and Kumar and I thought it would be the greatest thing ever. Instead, it tasted disgusting. The only good thing is their honey mustard!

After a long drive, i got very hungry. I wanted to grab something quick and have a nice relaxing dine in, but there was no one in the front counter that was willing to provide me any service. 10minutes later, I got impatient and went next door to DQ. Worst service ever!!!

Wish they would add Blaze BBQ to a White Castle near me. Good quality smoked pulled chicken on fresh buns, five different sauces offered, all of them delish, plus the regular White Castle menu, in a spiffy IKEA-esque interior with friendly service.

What a pleasant surprise! This White Castle has been completely remodeled and now features«BLAZE — The Modern Barbecue,» a sort of restaurant-within-a-restaurant. It is the only one in the world, a pilot that I hope will be copied in many White Castles or spun off into its own chain. The new restaurant fare features barbecue: six kinds of meat — pulled chicken, carnitas, Andouille sausage, Chinese char sui pork, smoked turkey and beef brisket. Dinners may be ordered with one or two sides and all come with a nice little loaf of cornbread — with or without jalapenos baked inside. They also have a sloppy Joe that my nephew likes a lot. There is a great assortment of sides with a home cooking bent, including: mac and cheese, loaded potato salad, Southwestern black beans and corn, redskin mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, BBQ baked beans(my personal favorite), corn on the cob, and Brunswick stew. Once you have your meal, you select your sauces from an assortment. They are in pumps so they are easy to pump onto your plate or fill little plastic containers. There five sauces to choose from. Three are mild: Blaze BQ(my fav), Smokin’ Tomato Blaze, Sweet Asian Blaze. Blazin’ Mustard and Blazin’ Chili rate 3 and 4 flames on the Blaze sauce hottness scale. All are good and the two hotties, while warm enough to get a little perspiration going, are not going to hurt anybody. Of course they still have all of the standard White Castle favorites that made them famous. They have an array of drinks and feature Coke products, which puts them closer to my heart, For dessert there are two kinds of pie. The place is bright and clean, with a cool graphic along one wall that references the original White Castle restaurants. This is fast-ish food(go in and sit down to eat — it would be challenging to eat while driving a car) with a new twist. It’s fun and delicious. The only problem I can see with Blaze is the job of getting new customers familiar with the new choices. Once that is done, I think people will come back again and again. Get in today and try it while it’s still the only one on the planet! UPDATE5÷17÷11: Just ate lunch here(pulled pork dinner) and was sad to see the carnitas, Andouille sausage, Chinese char sui pork, and smoked turkey have all been discontinued due to their unpopularity. Oh, well… Also noted the pulled pork seemed overly salty and had a rub type seasoning on it. It was still really good though and it fell apart nicely.

Sometimes you just gotta have a slider or ten. The best fast food french fries too.
