Second try on the Pad Thai and it’s worse than first. The first had raw veggies and second is swimming in sauce. Creve Coeur is much better that Ladue. Way too much oil. I won’t return because it was a carry out and after 2, I give up. I’m done with this store.

Tremendous value. Prices however keep going up and dishes get smaller. It’s almost like a double whammy. Dishes have been somewhat inconsistent and now the chicken and steak are flat vs chunk pieces. Fast and friendly services. glad they brought the oranges back. Clean restaurant.

Disappointed for the second time in a row. I was appalled when I got back to my desk with my take away order and saw the lettuce they gave me for my lettuce wraps. Completely brown all over to where I couldn’t use any of it! The chicken in my honey sears chicken had a weird texture as well. Lastly, I wasn’t given any sauce for my wontons. What an utterly disappointing lunch! This might be the last time Pei Wei!

We have gone to this location before and it has been okay. But tonight we went around 8 and it was clear that it had been a chaotic night in the kitchen. But it was calm now, in fact only 1 group came in during the next 20 minutes. Looked like the manager/owner was working the line. I ordered sushi. Was told they were out of tuna, so I switched to a mango California roll. Then we waited(in to go area) for 25 minutes and once my boyfriends food was ready, the food bagger realized oh, we are out of that sushi too. It seems to me they could have realized sooner. A staff member told us they were out and I just said I didn’t want anything except a refund on my meal(I wasn’t about to wait another 25 minutes), which she did. She handed us our other food, said«sorry,» then walked away. Very frustrating. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

I have been to the Creve Coeur location many times and loved it every time. So when we stopped for dinner today after shopping what a surprise and disappointment! The food was horrible. The Thai Chicken lettuce wrap was soaking in oil with no flavor and the chicken fried rice was like eating dirt. The other thing that was funny was that one of the workers curled up in a booth and went to sleep!

This place has gone downhill. I waited 15 minutes for my food after ordering it online. Now am eating the Mongolian need and the steak is crunchy hard. Very disappointing. Hope it gets better or won’t be going back much.

This is a better than average Chinese chain; it’s quick and casual, and you can order online and pick it up if you’re in a hurry. It’s not a place we expect to have the food blow our minds, but it’s good quick Chinese and all of the ingredients are clearly recognizable(no mystery meat).

The sweet and sour chicken was good, but for how much I paid, it wasn’t enough food. The vegetables weren’t the best, and the rice tasted like Minute Rice. Just wasn’t overly impressed.

What has happened to you, Pei Wei? When we lived here in U City we LOVED coming here or taking home some take out. The food was delicious. Just stopped by for a meal while I was back in town. The menu has changed which gives more flexibility in ordering — but ordered my old favorite Kung Pai chicken, and … Wow. Chicken tough and overcooked(maybe a pre cook?) with gobs of bad breading on it and a sad sauce. Peas way overcooked and okay slices of carrot. The rice was hard and either overcooked or old. Glad I don’t have the ability to be back. Sad.

Pei Wei is so much better than P.F. Chang’s it’s amazing. Last night I ordered the caramel chicken with brown rice. It’s fresh and hot and has just the right amount of heat. I had a cup of the hot and sour soup which is good but not great. It’s a little thick. The rice is always cooked perfectly. It’s never over cooked and always has that little bit of nutty texture you want from brown rice. It’s a great option when you’d like a tasty meal and are in a hurry and not in the mood to «dine.»

TERRRRRRIBLE service. Gone there three time and they manage to mess my order up every time. It’s understaffed and poorly managed. The manager doesn’t address the issues. I don’t know how you can literally mess up my order everytime I go?! The restaurant chain is actually decent but this location is a joke.

I have no idea what happened to this place in the past year or so, but good God. Perhaps this isn’t the place to order sushi, as I second John T. on the description of the sushi falling apart and barely having any flavor. But the boyfriend bought the Orange Peel wok classic with brown rice(note: CLASSIC) and it was burnt. We were so annoyed with how un-edible the food was, we didn’t even bother to complain. We just went off and got ice cream instead. All in all, what a disappointment — -definitely the worst Pei Wei chain I’ve ever been to.

Quality and portion size had gone down. Used to really enjoy their tofu with veggies and the meat eaters in the family liked the Mongolian beef. Salads okay. Recently tried the sushi and it was terrible. Have never seen such a small piece of tuna ever in a piece of sushi. Always like their two iced teas. Skipping Pei Wei for a while.

Generally speaking the food is «ok» at Pei Wei so we don’t mind eating here occasionally for something cheap and easy as it’s very close to our house. The problem is we have to plan for the order to just go sideways. Here are some examples that we deal with routinely. Easily 4 out of 6 orders are messed up. — place order via web and show up and then told either the whole dish is not available or a portion of the dish isn’t available and I have to wait while they cook something else rather than calling us after they get the order to talk about options. — get home and one dish is missing — wrong food is made so have to wait while correct food is made — people behind counter more interested in hanging out and joking around than working the register while we watch and wait to pick up to-go orders — often people behind counter that don’t look like they work there which is odd since it’s very public facing and roughly 15×15 space. Last time for example a guy in a hoody with hood up over his ball cap sporting a back pack just hanging out. Nice that he eventually stepped in to ring peoples orders(probably off the clock) so that was cool but clearly no management working in the store. Seriously only so many free cookies or drinks while you wait make it worth while. This went from a routine place we’d order from to a last resort because of the experience.

Don’t go here, just don’t. We thought, created by P.F. Changs, why not? This, by far, was the worst dining experience we ever had. The sushi was bland and falling apart when we used our chopsticks. The edamame was undercooked and inedible, and the Mongolian steak was so mediocre I would have rather eaten a boiled egg. Not to mention, our server told us it was chicken, not the steak we ordered… It turned out to be steak. When we asked for the manager, he was kind, but don’t tell us the sushi is «supposed to fall apart.» For this to be Asian cuisine there wasn’t a single Asian there. After they brought out the edamame a second time, it wasn’t any better. The sushi they remade as well– no better. We decided to leave without drinking our beer. They did in fact refund us the meal, and the manager was nice enough to at least try to help us. I’m not sure why this restaurant exists though, the food was not serviceable.

I like this place so much. I love their teriyaki brown rice bowl with tofu some time with noodles. The ambience and décor is good. only one minus point they don’t have more variety.

Love Pei Wei! Basically it’s PF Chang’s food without the PF Chang’s prices, and that deserves a gold star in my book. The portions are ginormous and filling, and it’s nice being able to eat leftovers for lunch the next day. If you’re looking for some American Chinese food, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Keep in mind that it’s a chain restaurant, not a small hole in the wall place, so if you’re searching for that cool, local feel, this might not be the place for you. Plenty of parking, never have to wait for a table, and it’s conveniently located right off of the freeway.

Not upto the expectations ! Went to the restaurant for Easter lunch with lots of expectations as suggested by a close friend but when we ordered, the soup was horrible and the salad was bland. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to dine here !

I get Pei Wei when I need a quick American Chinese fix. I love being able to order and pay for my food online and just pick it up on my way home from work. I’ve been very impressed with their GF items, and I also have a celery allergy, which the staff takes seriously. So far I’ve never gone into A shock after eating here, thanks guys. I’ve always been impressed with the freshness of the veggies, though they can go a little overboard with the salt. I have never seen anyone use Soy Sauce here, you just don’t need it. The food comes up fast and the parking where is decent(compared to the Olive location, which is a mess). It’s a little more pricey than your average take out Chinese place, but I feel like you pay for the quality.

This has been a go-to favorite of ours for years(mainly for take-out). The food is consistently good and there are vegetarian options that are clearly labeled. My only complaint has been that the vegetarian options are somewhat limited and the menu never varied much; that has changed recently with the addition of several new menu items. I had the Wok Roasted Vegetable salad recently and it was good. The sauce was tasty but not overdone and the vegetable mix was interesting. The sauces here have been amazingly consistent.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Great food. Always accurate. Food is served as it’s ready ensuring each person’s is extremely hot. Chicken lettuce wraps. Always fresh and clean lettuce. The chicken filling is delicious, flavorful. If too salty, add more lettuce. Chicken lo mein. One of my favorite items. Extremely good. A little oily though. Chicken fried rice. Huge portion. Very tasty. Pei Wei spicy chicken. A little dry. Veggie spring rolls. Excellent. Crispy. Fresh. Fast service. Delicious meal.
