The food itself was okay, but the service was pretty bad. The waitresses were rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. They never stayed long to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else, which was frustrating. Overall this place is just Okay.

This place has sure gone downhill in the last couple of years. Had dinner last night here since HopJacks was too crowded(sign you should opt to try to eat here instead). I had the«prime rib» sandwich with cup of salmon chowder. The sandwich was quite small and meat was dry. The chowder was decent but warm at best. The server was friendly, but overall i felt like this place is like Denny’s with a smaller menu, smaller portions, and no military discount to boot unlike most other restaurants(not that this keeps me away from places; just a nice and welcomed benefit for the large number of active and retired military in the area). Took a pie home. Pricey for the size but not extremely so. Get a Costco pie instead. If your going to eat at Sharis, visit the one on Pacific instead of the one on Martin & College. Not far away at all.

Saturday night, restaurant was nearly full, except for an entire section of booths the waitress was apparently not allowed to sit anyone in. I guess having clean tables is more important than paying customers?

Sat down for a late breakfast at sheris in lacey. What a dive. No one has bothered to sweep the work station and the carpeted area is no better. Hungry so we decided to try. More to follow

There was a Denny’s and this place right next door and I like to try new restaurants so I said why not. It was breakfast, how can they screw it up? First she sat us right by the door. I said wow it is cold here in hopes she would move us, but she laughed and said sure is! OKKKKK. Ordered and I got an omelet and asked for a pancake and hash browns. She nods and writes it down. When the food comes there are no hash browns. I inquire and am told hash browns don’t come with it and they are extra. OKKKK. Was it too hard for her to tell me that upfront? Food was ok. Pancakes were a bit burnt and the veggies on my omelet were only on the top and bottom there was literally nothing inside the omelet. It was strange, and the lack of veggies on a veggie omelet were disappointing. Check came and those hash browns that were extra? $ 3.25. OKKKKK

I don’t eat here because I can’t eat anything they make because of food allergies. However, I come here to buy their pie to bring to events. Their pies are very affordable. I got their lemon meringue pie and pumpkin pie to bring to a buddhist potluck, and the people their really liked them. Shari’s gave me a free carrier to carry the pies, which was a nice touch.

It was me and my husbands first time here and we loved it! Both of our meals were so good! I use to be a server so I can be very picky when it comes to waitresses serving me but our waitress was amazing! Her name is Bianca and she did so good! She definetly was on top of things. Never let drinks go empty and always checked on us to see if we needed anything! Thanks to her we had a great experience and we will 100% be coming back due to her!

I felt like writing this terrible review not even half way through breakfast. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my brother ordered the Denver omelet. It wasn’t busy and took 15 minutes to get. The hollandaise sauce isn’t fresh or made from scratch. Probably the powder kind. And the muffins were drenched in butter! I was so bummed. I couldn’t even eat it. Nor did I want to.. Instead if speaking up about it I ordered two plain muffins on the side.(Because I’ve heard of cooks spitting in the food here. Probably not true? But I’m not taking the chance.) Out waitress was REALLY unorganized and was running around all over the place. Twice I nearly yelled for her and twice she walked away. All we needed was ketchup. HA! Because she willingly gave us an empty bottle saying, here there’s a little left. OHGOD. And when I got the extra side muffins. They were burnt, black, like really ? End of story. Manager didn’t show up after I asked. Waitress didn’t even go get her. And I just said, I’m not paying for anything but that damn Denver omelet. Paid and walked out.

Good food and good service! the food did take a while to get but was good once we got it. the place was busy so that might had made the food service slow.

Service was SLOW, food was delicious. We sat at the food bar area with the manager, i’m assuming, at the register and he didn’t offer to assist, nada. Food was delicious, thanks to the cooks, another waitress did support us however we don’t want to wait another hour for breakfast again. That’s time we can never get back; 5 stars for food however the lack of service knocked it to a 3 star rating.

Great comfort food. The staff is cheerful and more than helpful. Once they gave slices of the wrong pie and when pointed out they fell over themselves to get me the right pie for free Their pies are wonderful and egg dishes are excellent. I will be back often

The hotel recommended this local diner after a long day of travel. The waitstaff is warm and welcoming. The butternut squash soup was delicious. Cedar salmon plank portion was a bit small and slightly overcooked. Breakfast menu is extensive so definitely will come back again

I wasn’t expecting anything here to blow my socks off, but sometimes in the middle of the day a man needs to eat breakfast and will settle for the closest place to stuff his face with ham. So, it was here we went. Service was splendid for a busy Saturday. I ordered coffee and the breakfast dish with biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, and hash browns. This part of my review is going to sound harsh, but I promise that I am only trying to be constructive to the management so that they can improve their reviews. What I’m saying is only to help. You’re doing a lot of things right, but the food was pretty meh for the price. It’s a little on the expensive side for the same thing that you can get at a local joint where more of the money you spend is recycled back into the community. My bacon was pretty burnt, and the biscuits and gravy were average at best. Service is rocking, but kicking it up a notch in the kitchen will take you guys a long way. Thanks for the Saturday chow!

Shari’s is in Olympia. Shari’s are along with Elmer’s are fixtures of Northwest highways that every Northwesterner will likely recognize. They are far better than Denny’s, an atrocious worldwide chain which heavily overcharges for over processed food. Shari’s, being an Oregon company in a state that is always fond of good food, attempts to do better. Granted, the food felt like real food not laboratory food, unlike at Denny’s. I had the broccoli soup and it tasted good and the chicken strips, which tasted good. Both were in-between industrial and local food, but like most places, leaned towards industrial. Both still felt processed, but the issue here is the price. It was $ 27 for two adults to have chicken strips, fish and chips, and two sodas. For $ 27, you could go to a good gyro place in Olympia and taste food that actually is high quality. You could also have spare change leftover. Shari’s is worse than Denny’s because the price is a lot more. You are near Olympia when you’re at the Shari’s in Lacey. This isn’t some small town. It is a capital city and Unilocal shall set you free. They clearly exploit the position near the highway and downtown can be reached by car in eight minutes. Shari’s is worth discouraging.

I love this place! Good food, good interior, music level and choice isn’t too bad. The price was worth everything I got. This place has many choices of pies and makes a big deal about this. Had stacked nachos and it was really good — pulled pork, cheese, avocados, olives, with sides of pico de gallo. Had a banana cream pie and OMG. SOOOGOOD! The waitress was really nice as well. Open 24⁄7 and has wifi. Who could ask for more?

I like this place. It’s still not as good as the one in Longview WA, but the service here was nice and I would go back since its a heck of a lot closer than Longview is.

I don’t know what happened to this place but the service is absolutely terrible. There’s a section of the restaurant, to the left of the cash register that is the land that time forgot. Get seated here and never get waited on. Like a virus though, it spread to every other part of the restaurant. Recognizing the fact that sometimes every place has a bad day, we went back a couple more times and it was incredibly slow — as if the people running the place had no idea how to operate a restaurant. Got lots of excuses and the last time, a rude wait person. It is permanently off the list. If you are looking for diner food in town, head toward Olympia on Martin Way and go to Martin Way Diner. If you want corporate diner food-IHOP is at Lilly and Martin Way.

I love Sheri’s. It’s nothing special, similar to Denny’s or IHOP, but a local NW chain that has reliably good food. During this visit, my sister and I enjoyed our breakfast specials. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our water glasses were kept full. We came back that night to enjoy some delicious pie for dessert… Mmm, now I want pie… The food, for the price, makes it a worthy stop for some tasty grub. :-)
