My husband and I stopped in the other morning and had the best breakfast we have had in a long time. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, the eggs were poached perfectly, the hash browns were golden brown and the asparagus spears were incredible. The service was friendly and quick and the entire experience is one I look forward to repeating soon.

The food was nice and hot. The service was with a smile. The area around the place was clean. It has a nice family atmosphere. The price is a little high, but you get what you pay for. I give 4 thumbs up.

My daughter and I stopped for a burger on our way home. I have driven by here a thousand times and never stopped. My daughter ordered a bacon cheese burger and an order of fries. She loved it and said we must stop there again. It is definitely a solid burger, good beef, fresh condiments and a great bun. Fries are thick and were tasty. Service was outstanding, friendly and quick. My only complaint was the price. $ 12.50 for burger and fries. I think the burger was $ 9.00 by itself. That should be the burger and fry price. It would be very hard to justify $ 50 for burgers and fries for my family of 4.

The food here is awesome and the service is as well. It is my go to diner experience when I am back home on the west coast.

Great place for burgers, shakes. Friendly staff and nice, simple atmosphere. Breakfast here is average at best and overpriced. Over $ 30 for my son and I for an adequate breakfast not much different than Denny’s or similar. Stick to burgers at Norma’s and you won’t go wrong.

Great portion breakfast, friendly staff, and tasty food. That’s good enough for me. Only downside is the place is kind of hidden, it can be hard to see as you’re driving by. Prices were pretty modest for the amount of food I received.

Look. This isn’t some yuppified foofy gourmet burger joint. It’s not some leftist haven where it’s fashionable to blame the U.S. for all the worlds problems. It is a good solid Mom’n’Pop middle America comfort food joint. Don’t come here planning to count calories or have a cutting edge culinary experience. Those things aren’t going to happen. This place is focused on a demographic of truckers, farmers, active duty and retired military folks — the rest of us are just *frosting.* That said, they have some of the best milkshakes in the NW and do a solid middle american burger. The fries are ok(I’m picky — I’m a steak fry kind of guy). Where they excel(aside from those damnably addicting shakes) is in their breakfast lineup — thoroughly decadent comfort food that is decided vegetarian-unfriendly. I expect you can get just a short stack, but I’ve never tried — some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had north of the Mason Dixon line. Finally, service — my experience has been excellent service on a consistent basis over a period of some twenty years. Not suprisingly, given the primary demographic, the staff do not take an undue amount of crap and they are mostly to young to open a chapter of the little old lady mafia(the grand conspiracy to mother everyone in sight to death) — within those limitations, they are genuine, caring and reasonably fast. And they take genuinely good care of special needs(mobility, other issues) customers. Olympia is lucky to have them. Pity W. Seattle doesn’t have anything up to the standard they set.

If you wanna go where everybody knows your name, go to NORMA’s Burgers. Real down to earth, mom and pop dinner. Give the mom and pop a try.

Unreasonably expensive for the quality/quantity of food. Was disappointed to say the least.

Norma’s isn’t fancy, but they are serving up amazing shakes and burgers. We loved this place when we lived down the street. On our recent visit back we were even more impressed. Service is always friendly and quick. The main reason we come here is the Peanut Butter Shake. It’s delicious and addictive. If peanut butter isn’t your jam they have many other tasty shake options as well. The burgers here are very tasty and they have many great combinations. My favorite is the burger with bacon and egg. I was in heaven eating this burger because I haven’t had anything this good since moving to Las Vegas. Make sure to ask for fry sauce with your fries too. Yum!

Food is to expensive burgers don’t come with fries or any sides and cost upwards of 10 plus dollars. Food was mediocre at best for breakfast and worse pricing for dinner and lunch to. There are better places for burgers and breakfast food Norma’s a classic joint for ripping off customers. Nasty rude service when I brought up that still haven’t received my sandwich thirty minutes later. Left feeling like my business wasn’t valued. To the owner close up shop get out of here your a shame to the community and shove that religious stuff and tacky décor somewhere else

I wish I could give them more stars, but 3 is a stretch… First of all, the shakes are delicious and well worth a stop on their own. But the rest? The cheeseburgers are run of the mill. Good, I suppose, but nothing to stand out from any other burger joint. They don’t come with friends, though for the prices, they could throw in a small order. Not that you’d want them. I got the chicken strips with fries and ate a few before sharing with my dog and then tossing the rest. The chicken strips were decent, but again… for the price I’d rather hit Red Robin. Service is friendly, but slow. So… 3 stars. If you’re in the area, sure. Not worth a special trip.

We usually come here for the delicious shakes after walking Nisqually reserve. Again — I would prefer a 3.5 stars but one can only dream. The shakes — as usual — were great and delicious. The service this time was lacking. We received no napkins or table service such as silverware. We had to ask for our water 3 times before another waiter provided it. I will give it a plus for its support of America — the one I grew up in and served 4 years to make a safe place for my family.

Terribly small portions. I had heard amazing things about this place from my friends and boy was I disappointed when I went. The food came and looked like something that might be served at an elementary school for a price of about $ 10. How do you mess up breakfast food? Highly not recommended. Service and food quality was decent, so two stars. Dine at your own risk and prepare to leave feeling like you spent too much.

Burgers and breakfast, with a heaping helping of ‘Murica on the walls and a surprisingly high number on the bill. This was a random stop for us, three hungry travelers on the road to Portland, looking for some grub to get us through. The promise of burgers sounded right, and the claim of «best burger in Washington» just had to be tested. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our server Destiny was friendly and attentive. After a little hemming and hawing, my daughter went for the cod and fries, my wife the grilled onion burger, and I went full-bore with«The Duke» — a monster burger with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, ham, pineapple, mustard, and secret sauce. We also got a Cobb salad to share. The salad was fresh and flavorful, my daughter loved the fish and chips(they vanished in short order) and the burgers almost lived up to the promise… delicious and filling. The pineapple on my burger was grilled and left a nice zing. The décor in Norma’s runs heavy on the American memorabilia, lots of American flags, plates, military photos, etc. and even the Statue of Liberty on the wallpaper. The music? Country, of course. I’m fine with it if that’s their thing, but it felt a little like overkill. The prices, also, were surprisingly high — our bill came out to about the same as the Mexican dinner we’d had the night before, but this one did not include alcohol, and our burgers did not include fries — those would have been extra. It seems a bit much for what amounts to a good roadside burger place, so be prepared to pay a bit more than you might expect. All together, though, the food was excellent and the service friendly and fast. Despite the higher bill, not bad at all for a random stop along the road.

Only thing I really enjoyed here was the great customer service. 19.70 plus a 3.00 tip for a hamburger, fries and a shake. Not saying they have bad food it’s just not worth 23.70

On the way back from a Tacoma Mall shopping trip. Stopped for dinner with three teenagers. Everyone ordered something different, with one gigantic side of fries. Burgers and Dip delicious. Three kinds of shakes. Service excellent.

The most remarkable thing about this place is how utterly unremarkable it is. The interior is hilarious–«America, fuck yeah”– is all I had in my head as I glanced around the over the top patriotism that had thrown up all over this place(along with a library directly above me containing several Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh books, and a massive copy of the Bible). However, I do believe that every owner, of every business, has the right to decorate and display whatever they want but the visual assault I endured, was not worth the crap food I was served. The food here is a joke. It is shitty burger patties, cooked on a shitty flat-top, garnished with your quintessential burger crap, and it was all just plain shitty. 7 bucks for a burger that does not include fries. Alright, I can get down with that, if it is a well-seasoned, well-cooked burger, but this is shit(see previous comment). The same shit they serve at most fast food joints. The same shit that you can get at almost any diner, with fries, for a fraction of the cost. I don’t understand how their prices are so inflated? Do people not know what an actual good burger tastes like? Or Norma, you sly little minx, you have them fooled. I will never set foot in the place again. And from the crap they display I think their target demographic is straight, white republican men. Are republican’s taste buds stunted or something? Stay away, far far away.

It’s like an American flag exploded and spawned hundreds of little patriotic trinkets: Micky Mouse(with an American flag), George Washington praying(with an American flag), Uncle Sam(with an American flag), Fox news on the TV, and much, much more. The food was great. The service was super, super nice and attentive.

This is heaven on earth embodied in the form of a burger and shake. I absolutely love this place! Everyone who I have taken here has fallen in love with the burgers at first bite and shakes at first sip. At Norma’s, a large milkshake is a must! There is an extensive range of flavors of shakes that I’m sure would satisfy any taste. My personal favorite is the caramel pecan shake. I love all things caramel and this is the epitome of caramel perfection. Their burgers… One bite and you swear you died and went to heaven. I always order the bacon cheese burger. Honestly, once you see that on the menu, how can you pass it up without tasting the cheesy, bacon goodness? My mom ordered the burger with green chile and absolutely loved it. My dad had the vegetarian, bean burger and could not stop raving about it. Everyone has always been over the moon about their choice. You don’t even need to order a side of fries, tater tots, or onion rings to feel satisfied, but those are also delicious! Ah, and as for desert, the individual sized salted caramel cheesecake is perfect in every way. I highly recommend Norma’s burgers. Come hungry. Leave extremely satisfied. Trust me, you will crave these burgers.
