i never feel the need to review but i love my hair so much that ive gotta. id been debating to cut my hair short for over a year since ive had really long hair all my life. i started to have anxiety before walking in as i was unsure if i could actually go through with it or not. i walked in, i was greeted. the boss i believe, as ive been coming here for years, quickly got to business. i asked for layers and told her i wanted to cut off about 6 inches. im very indecisive so instead at first i asked for 4 inches. she showed me the length and asked for another 2 inches. she showed me the length again and i laughed apologizing as i wanted it another inch shorter. she was very paitent with me and said no worries. i asked for a lot of layers and she used what looked like a cutting comb as she thinnned my hair with it. it was like a rush, she kept removing hair and i loved it. she was very quick and professional, focusing on her master piece. she blow dryed my hair to show me the outcome, i loved it! ive recieved complements as everyone as always known me to have very lomg hair. she only charged me $ 17, which was very cheap to me as she cut off alot of hair and did a lot to do it. i had to give her a $ 5 tip as i was very grateful for her work

I usually go to another salon in San Gabriel but I was in need of a cut and was nearby. I walked in and was greeted. Waited a couple of minutes for them to set up. Lynda cut my hair. It was quick and professional. Her attitude is straight forward so she’ll tell you exactly what you need to hear. No grey areas or sugar coating. My visit was less than 30min with a shampoo wash/rinse. A reg men’s cut was $ 17 — tipped her $ 8 and I was out the door. Good place if you need a regular cut.

Miranda is always fast friendly and professional and the whole shop in general is equally as friendly and efficient. There have been numerous times when I have stopped by without an appointment and I can usually be helped within 10 minutes. It seems that everyone at this location is equally skilled as I have used numerous stylist in the past. I would advise to try and schedule a appointment in the morning to mid noon to avoid the afternoon and evening rush. Great job.

Been getting my haircut here for the past 3 years with Christina. She’s the best! Very detailed oriented, always cuts it the way I want and always a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Christina to both men and women.

Very bad customer service. My fiancé called for directions and they said to just come in and no need to make an appointment. When we came in, They immediately told us we are going to have to wait because they are knocking out there appointments only. My fiancé asked how long her wait would be and the lady replied«at least 30 min» very rudely(without even making eye contact) we proceeded to leave and no one cared to say anything. On our way out of the store, the lady that was in front of us in line said that they are always talking to each other and work very carelessly and slow, and also are very rude. We will never come back to this place.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and will continue to do so even if they move. Even though Jeanette cuts my hair, every person at this store makes me feel like family and they all do a phenomenal job day in and day out. Loyal for Life. — K

Found my new salon. Lynda is quick, professional and helpful. I love my new cut. The price is way better than other salons that I’ve been to that didn’t even cut as well.

I’m pretty particular when it comes to getting my hair cut. So is my husband. I mean, I am not super picky when it comes to the actual environment. In fact, I prefer the no frills type of place. What I am particular about is the actual stylist. How I interact with them, how comfortable I am with them, and how they are with me, how well they cut my hair based on what I request, and their versatility in understanding a good style match for the person at hand. I’ve searched around a lot of places, and I’d have to say that I love coming here to see Jeanette. She is probably the only person that I’ve come across in all my years of existence that really understands how to cut my hair. Not only that, she cuts men’s hair flawlessly. My husband loves coming to her, and she always does a solid job. I am always amazed at how little she charges because she’s just THAT good. She’s rivaled and surpassed even some stylists that I’ve been to that have charged me $ 50+ for a haircut and style. With Jeanette, for a woman, a cut and style is about $ 30. That’s a total deal. For a men’s haircut, it is about $ 17. The key thing here is that she takes her time, and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable and doesn’t try to sell you product, unless you ask her specifically. She’s warm and inviting, and really easy to talk to. Plus she’s funny! So, if you are looking for a great person to cut your hair, whether you are young or older, Jeanette will do a fantastic job. Ask for her, you won’t regret it.

I’ve been taking my son here for many years. Infact, I took him here for his first haircut when he was 2 years old. He loves his stylist, Miranda. She’s great with kids and has yet to disappoint my kids. Now, with another child this is our spot for my kids:)
