I came here with my boss for lunch since I work along the Houston Ship Channel. The place is a food truck with tables and chairs covered on a parking lot near downtown La Porte. I knew this place would be authentic as I looked at the menu. It seemed pretty popular around lunch time since they were a lot of folks waiting for their food. They only accept cash so don’t forget! I ordered two tacos, the barbacoa and pastor. These two tacos only cost me $ 1.50 each! Definitely a deal! Some other things I noticed they offer are tortas and special plates of the day. I saw a lot of people picking up to-go orders so if you don’t have much time to stick around, you could do carry-out. As we sat down, my boss grabbed a container from another table. He warned me it might be spicy so I tried a little… and WOW, this green stuff had a kick. It kind of reminded me of a creamy salsa verde. Once we received our food, I tried my tacos without the sauce. Both of my tacos came with cilantro and raw onions on top with a side of grilled onions, a jalapeño, and lime. IMO, the barbacoa was a little gamy, but the pastor tasted exactly like those I’ve eaten in Mexico. It was very much like a typical street taco. Simple but delicious. I added some sauce to the tacos and it really complemented the meat. Definitely come here for lunch if you looking for a good cheap meal!

A food van has been set up in a parking lot with a large covered area with tables attached that has fans and surrounded by potted plants and flowers. Nice, great food with most people getting take out. Typical tortas and tacos etc. made well with pleasant service. Quesadillas are a bit greasy.

Saw a check in here from a friend on Unilocal.I knew it was right up my alley. It is a real taco truck but it has a nice carport in front with several tables and plenty of flowers. So far I have only had breakfast tacos and they were pretty good. They come on corn or flour. I usually go with flour for breakfast tacos. I had Fajita and egg which had a lot of meat but was a little dry. Next I had bacon and egg and it was better with nice fluffy eggs and crisp bacon. Lastly I had chorizo and egg which was not greasy at all but was a little bland. The flour tortilla are home made but nothing amazing. They gave me some green sauce and this really saves the day. Nice flavor and a fair amount of heat makes all the tacos taste a lot better. Best part was that all 3 of these tacos only cost me 3.50! 1 dollar each except the fajita which was 1.50 I think. Everything was cooked to order and hot and there was a wait so don’t be in a hurry. They also offer a lot of other things like quesadillas, tortas ect. O yeah I’ll be going back for lunch. Over all if you are a taco truck fan then this is a place you need to cheack out.
