Clean restaurant. Polite staff. And quality food. My issue with the place is the ingredients and general recipes. Salsa — Served warm. Has a metallic taste and nary a hint of onion flavor. Slight bite and a hint of cilantro. This is barely more than tomato sauce. Green sauce — Served cool. Smooth, buttery and with some kick. Good stuff. Rice — Standard but cooked well, vs. a lot of other places that serve a split gummy mess. Tamales — Major disappointment. These are very similar to the kind that come in a can. Flour-laden ground beef is the filler and it’s just not good. ~ The ‘gravy’ has little taste and isn’t helped by the American cheese-flavored queso. Some people might prefer this. In fact the place was packed during lunch hour. But I think I’ll spend my Tex-Mex budget somewhere else in the future.

A nice atmosphere, decorated nicely, an awkward host, and a server who seemed lost at work. Chips and red salsa was good, a warm salsa and a green very mild salsa. Flauta plate $ 9.25 3 long chicken, corn tortilla flautas, it was good tasting. Bland rice and bland beans. It was weird because the beans didn’t even taste like beans… They tasted like nothing. The guacamole is good. Carnitas plate $ 10.95. A very small amount of meat, it wasn’t seasoned so it didn’t taste as great as it could have. The rice and beans were also bland. Orchata $ 2.50 was yummmmy! fresh limonada $ 2.50 tasted like it was made fresh but maybe with some rotten lemons in the mix? We will never eat here again. The server took too long to come back to check up on us and there was only 2 other tables with customers. I would suggest spending your money elsewhere for a real Mexican meal.

Pretty good local place to eat. More of your authentic mexican food. Oh and if you order a drink… get ready to walk out of there with help. Your gonna stumble. Drinks are strong but goooooooood!

Best margaritas in the area! Nice personable staff, and on Fridays a little live music. Very quaint and homey.
