This candy store came in handy when looking for specific colored jellybeans. I searched around town and called many places and this was one of three places that had what I was looking for. They have every color jellybean you can ask for and the service was great. I called before and when I got there they knew who I was.
I would go back and or call if I need a specific candy item to see if they had it

No change in star status since my last review, but I wanted very specific M&M colors for my baby shower and went in to pick some up. The lady was VERY nice, but most of the M&Ms were broken after dispensing and cost me $ 30+! I couldn’t believe how expensive it was!

This place has a wide variety of sugar free candy that tastes great! Glad to have a place nearby where I can stock up on all kinds of treats that can’t be found most places. Huzzah for sugar free dark chocolate almond bark and gummie butterflies…
THAT’S RIGHT! Gummie. Butterflies. I thought my days of torturing and consuming brightly colored adorable creatures were over! Now I can once again return to my villainous (in moderation, of course.) ways!

The have quality candies, and the fact that they are (or were) one of the few outlets selling Laymon Chocolates.
The staff and owner are just the finest folks.

If you need candy for whatever occasion, this place will probably meet your needs. They have a nice selection of candies for all. I picked up a half pound of malt balls and gummy worms, but what I really wanted was the green M&M character outside the store. However, it was not for sale. (

They also serve coffee and icee frozen drinks packed with sugar artificial flavoring. They use to be my childhood favorite. The man working there is helpful and friendly.
The place is located in the Grossmont Mall Shopping Center Food Court.

I don’t go in here for the candy but their coffee is really good – and cheap! Forget Starbucks, in here it’s only $ 1.49 for a tall 24 Oz cup and 99¢ for a refill. There are 5 or 6 brewed flavors to choose from plus more from a vending dispenser and you can mix and match however you want. The smaller cup is only 99¢, 20 Oz I think.

Candy Island has a great selection of candy!!! The customers service is excellent and the candy is super fresh! They also had my favorite Jelly Belly’s!
