$ 74.59 for 2 shirts and 2 key chains. Cheap quality and I feel like the biggest sucker ever. Buyer beware everything is super pricey, there are other places in la Jolla to get souvenir items. Lesson learned.

Mark printed custom t-shirts for my husband and me. We had discovered this store during some free time we had while on tour in the area, and were delighted with the variety of designs and reasonable prices. When our tour group returned to the hotel near San Diego airport that night, I discovered that Mark had made picked up the wrong sized t-shirt for me when putting on the custom design. Since we were on tour and had no car to drive back to La Jolla to make an exchange, and were flying home to Florida the next day, I contacted Mark to explain my dilemma. To my surprise and delight, he offered to make up another custom t-shirt in the correct size and mail it to my home. I received the t-shirt 2 days later, and mailed back the t-shirt of the wrong size. Mark’s willingness to do what was necessary to deliver the correct product has left a very pleasant memory of our experience in La Jolla. I would not hesitate to order other t-shirts from the store’s website, and would be happy to shop in this store in the future.

A really cool store in the heart of La Jolla. I particularly liked the large selection of T-shirts they have that can be customized with a very large selection of cute and funny expressions. The service was very good and I thought the prices were fair. The store seems quite popular as I noticed quite a lot of tourists working their way through the store while I was there.

I spoke with Mark about a custom T shirt for my wife. When he ran the numbers it was a little pricey(after all I was only ordering one T shirt). He made sure I knew how much it was and how long it was going to take. He wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be surprised by the final product. He took the job only when I assured him that I thought the price was reasonable. The shirt was exactly what I wanted at a price I agreed to pay. My thanks to Mark who took the time to make sure I would be pleased. The next time I want a custom T shirt I won’t hesitate in going back to him.

An extensive selection and you’d get some great laughs at some of the signs and phrases. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great shopping experience and worth planning a visit! Enjoy!

The La Jolla Shirt Company has a very large selection of T-Shirts. They also have a big selection of logos and patterns, and can make a custom T-Shirt while you wait. The people who work there are very sincere. I had a small problem with a shirt, and they were very friendly when making things right. They also have a lot of souvenirs, so it is a good stop before going home, or on a trip.

There is no other tourist store in La Jolla that jam packs their goods into the store front like La Jolla Shirt Co. The setup reminds me of the Fashion district on Santee street in Los Angeles. It’s very, very crowded, but honestly, they’re probably cheaper than most of the stores you’ll find around here in terms of souvenirs/goods. They have a 4 for $ 20 deal on the cheapy shirts you need to send back to mom and dad so they don’t get pissed off that you didn’t think about them on your trip to the SD area. In regards to my actual visit, I was helped by a nice college kid named Chris. He explained that for many of the clothing, much of it arrives plain, with the printing/decals applied after purchase(you pay for the shirt, whilst the decal is free). The hoodies are $ 29.99 with the front & arm logos, while the zip-ups are $ 34.99. In my book this is pricey, but again, think of the location — it makes sense in the tourism business. I cut to the chase and told him, «I came in because I saw that neat sweater you’ve got in the window… with the embroidered logo.» Chris smiled & priced it as $ 39.99 and went on to say that it’s pretty popular since it’s the actual licensed sweater that the CA lifeguards wear… the sweater had a legit licensed apparel tag, which made me happy. There was only an XL left, but he encouraged me to give it a shot & showed me to a mirror. Apparently, it’s 100% cotton, so the thing would still shrink despite the size, and hey, the large size was actually welcomed/roomy. It also helped that he said it looked nice on me, so hey, there’s good salesman there: P He rung me up and we made small talk about school… found commonality that we were both Bioengineering majors, which was neat. Conversation flowed naturally throughout the purchase, the transaction was flawless, and for the first time, I didn’t feel like the tourist shop was a shady place to buy merchandise despite appearances. LJSC for the win. I’ve got a new favorite sweater. Though I might not necessarily go back in there anytime soon since I’m not really a tourist, you left me with a good impression, which says a lot since most tourist shops have that seedy look/feel. You may have took, but I didn’t get that feeling after my purchase(I also haven’t had any strange transactions, so I’m really happy!).

Visiting friends for the first time in Southern California and taken to La Jolla to see the sights and do some shopping. Had a great experience at La Jolla Shirt Company where the staff were friendly and gave me a great deal on a number of shirts for my nieces and nephews. Also bought a groovy pair of sun glasses.
