Polo Ralph Lauren

Amazing customer service! I had a warranty issue with my glasses. Robert, the RL store rep, really took ownership of the situation and did what he had to do to make sure that I was made whole as a customer. I could not and would not have gotten my warranty without his help — I now have my favorite pair of glasses back. Overall the staff portrayed a positive atmosphere and I am happy to write this review on their great customer service!

Polo Ralph Lauren is a great place to shop for some nice casual, yet classy clothes. They offer great discounts for people that sign up for their mailing lists, sometimes up to 60% of certain items. I find that the clothes are very durable when properly cared for. The only complaint that I have is that they could use a few more Sales associates to help with check out

Great service. I bought a pair of sunglasses at this Ralph Lauren location, but within a month my shade just snapped and broke. Quality wise, I would say… probably not the best? But I called the store, and after some researching, the manager agreed to give me a new pair even though I didn’t keep my receipt. The manager was able to look up my name in their system, and find my transaction. Since I didn’t want to go back all the way to San Diego, the SD store shipped a new pair to the Beverly Hills location. All I had to do was the bring back the broken pair. Although I wasn’t happy about the item’s quality, and hopefully this is going to be an isolated incident, I was very pleased with how the store handled the incident.

Great shop. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They are not stuck up or pretentious at all. I went in to look around and the staff helped me shop for discounted Polo clothes as if I were looking at a 2500 dollar black label suit. Definitely a pleasure to shop there.

I live in LA and there’s a huge Ralph Lauren on Rodeo but I would much prefer to do my shopping at the La Jolla location because of the customer service.
1. They actually make the effort to help you find what you want.
2. If the item you want is not in stock, they’ll search other Ralph Lauren stores all over the US for the item you need.
Overall a very friendly and helpful store. They’re an example of great customer service.

I walked into this place after I had a chill day at the beach in La jolla. Ofcourse I had some beach attire on (NO not a just a bathing suit) but a bathing suit + a basic summer dress with flip flops.
It was really weird walking in & I have never felt out of my element in a clothing store before, not because it was Ralph lauren but the weird looks that the sales associated where giving me? No one walked up to
It seems like if you do not walk in there pulling your tiny dog that you can fit in you Louis Vuitton purse no one would give you the time of day. I could not rate this place any less than 2 start for the respect that I have for the brand name.

Even though the only item I have ever purchased from a Ralph Lauren store was a pair of sunglasses at the Beverly Hills location on my first trip to LA, I still like to browse whenever I pass a RL store. I prefer to shop for RL at the department stores where I can use coupons and the sale items are more deeply discounted but this location was great. The sales associates were so nice. I was able to browse the sale items and the woman who worked in woman’s clothing was very descriptive in the clothing, where it was made, how much it cost. She was so helpful and all the items were organized by color and style which made browsing that much better. This is a great location, great staff, and great clothing!

I’ve been shopping at Polo since I was 14 – 15 (early 1980s). Before Polo moved over to Girard, it was located around the corner, on Wall. I first started shopping at the Wall location (a tiny shop located right by the alley). When the location moved, I moved with it.
The current manager is Ann. I remember her from the Wall location. She was probably in her early 20s when she started working for Polo. She’s now in her mid 40s. She still looks great!
Anyhow, let me get to the review. Ann is great. She is always attentive when I am in the store. I never need to ask for anything.
Betsy, the men’s manager, is also great. I first met her back in 2001 – 2002. I liked her from the start. She knows what I like and she is in tune with things I might like.
Unfortunately, my favorite sales guy, Rene, no longer works here. I know that I’ve spent less time in this store since his departure. He’s moved on to greener pastures, so I don’t see him returning to the store. Sigh.
Still, if you like to buy your Polo clothing at a nice location, with a talented staff, you can’t do much better than the Girard location.
